The view is great, and the pool also afford a great place to relax and look out over Toledo. The staff were helpful with recommendations and the bathrooms are nice - large and with separate shower and tub and lots of amenities. The rooms are definitely not in the 5* category. They are comfortable but not luxurious. I knew how far the hotel was from town - it is a good long 20 minute walk with hills - but it did not matter as we had a car. It is a factor if you don't have one. |

the view from the room towards the old city. The size of the room. The size and the interior of the bathroom. you have to walk through the parking area to get to the swimming pool. When we stepped out to our balcony the door closed quickly after us so we were locked out for 30 minutes in 40 + degrees! Nobody heard us screaming and when we got in later (by dislocating the glass door) we received no apology. The view from the very secluded balcony was exceptional and our car windscreen was cleaned overnight. Room excellent. Lack of shade in the car park(it was 38C). Not within walking distance of old city and no public transport so taxis had to be used as parking in Toledo centre difficult. Swimming pool some distance from main building. Not really a tourist hotel. Food and drink very expensive and limited menue. |

Yhe hotel was truly excellent in every way. During our stay the hotel had no water (not the fault of the hotel). Offering complimentary breakfast or at least complimentary coffee or drink as a good will gesture would have made the hotel perfect. |

This hotel is exceptional. Beautifully positioned and stunning to look at. The quality and comfort of the rooms and its fittings could not be bettered. We stayed longer than planned as it was so good. |

Only one person working when we checked in and she couldn't speak any English. The room safe and thermostat didn't work and it took 4 hours of constant calls to get someone to look at it. Finally at midnight they gave us another room. Everything worked except for 1 lamp. The thermostat now worked but hotel controls cooling which is only activated for 2 hours in the early morning. There is more. |

The required and expected level of luxury was there albeit the towel rail and toilet roll holder were coming away from the wall and the shower and one basin had partially blocked wastes, the latter not beind fixed despite us reporting it. The plumbing was also at fault, making horrendous noises at 4am - that was not fixed either. The hotel lacks any "soul". It is NOT, in my opinion, a hotel for tourists. It makes its living from the corporate market and is geared towards satisfying that. The level of facilities for a 5 star hotel is poor. It is a tedious 40 minute walk into the old city centre along a busy main road. |

Hotel architecture, landscaping of grounds, balcony and views The air conditioning in the room was broken, but we were moved into another room. There were also some other minor maintenance issues, like a clogged sink and a loose towel hanger. |

Although the website stated that the hotel is only 1km far from the city centre, you need a car as it takes 5/10min drive to get to Toledo historical centre from the hotel.The website also states that the hotel has a tracking path, sorry to say it does not, i asked for it and the staff at the reception desk just stared at me. The hotel has landscaped garden which will only take 5 mins walk! |
