Very good,

“ Great location, within a 10-minute walk of the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Madraza Palace, bus routes to Alhambra, etc. It is also near restaurants, grocery stores, and taxi stop. The hotel is small and quaint but very comfortable. ”

Very helpful and friendly staff. A lovely hotel which has been very nicely restored. Nicely tucked away in a side street, but only a few minutes walk away from the centre. Well equipped, comfortable, generally quiet room at a very reasonable price. The noise of the upstairs room from flushing their toilet and having a shower - the water noise was very loud due to the pipes seemingly running down the side of our room, which was a shame as otherwise the room was very quiet.

very comfortable traditional Spanish hotel in good location for the older part of town. We had a spacious room with large en-suit which was serviced every day and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very helpful and pleasant. This is in a good location for the old part of town once you find the hotel and get used to the lane it is on it is a great place to stay, I would definitely recommend it. location not the best down a back lane covered with graffiti but this was typical of the whole city not just this area. We felt perfectly safe staying here but it might be a bit difficult to find the first time so advise taking a taxi.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, easy to find just off the motorway and very close to the city centre with excellent links to public transport. The rooms were comfortable, clean and set around a lovely courtyard. The hotel was also very quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We spent four very enjoyable nights at the Abadia hotel and would not hesitate to return Parking. We needed a key to the secure parking place and we caused a traffic jam due to the street being very narrow when we picked it up from the hotel! Not sure what they can do about this.

Charming hotel. Particularly impressed by the woman behind the desk who immediately gave us a map annotated with hotel location, bus stops, best place for breakfast, etc. Few outlets in the rooms, and it's down a small sidestreet which seems a little scary, due to lots of graffiti. Turned out to be quite safe, though. Taxi drivers may have trouble getting there, so you are best off just being on foot. Also, you have to leave the hotel for breakfast. They don't serve there. Nice spot around the corner though. Although they take credit cards, they clearly prefer cash.

Staff were extremely helpful and very accommodating, and came from all over Europe! Their language skills were excellent. Parking a real bonus as there was none nearby. Brilliant location and a short walk to all the shops and tapas bars! WiFi was very flakey and sometimes didn't work at all. Air Con in our 2nd floor room didn't really have much effect. Wasn't that hot during our trip, but in the height of summer, would have been unpleasant.

The pictures really do this hotel justice. Lovely wee secluded courtyard garden. The room (3rd floor), whilst having no balcony, was spacious and clean with a fridge to keep our water and "Alhambra" cool. The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. The wireless was a bit dodgy. Connected my phone but not our laptop.

Very nice room &decor, great to have kettle. Easy to find. Beautiful courtyard. Some helpful staff. When I found there was no hot water, the young French receptionist was totally unhelpful. It took a lot of hassling to get anything done. Very casual response ,no apology. Courtyard was not cleaned, empty glasses, dirty tables, ashtrays were left all day.

The hotel was located in the small street so there was not noise during night, the facilities were sufficient , the room was really nice and there was small atrium where people could have a drink. There was a fridge and kettle in the room the hotel does not offer the breakfast, but with the fridge and kettle or the breakfast bar 1 minute from hotel it was not a big problem.

Good atmosphere, great central courtyard which I regret that I did not have more time to enjoy. Had difficulty finding this hotel as it is located in a back street/alley. They should invest in better sinage and make it clear on the web site that the location is a bit obscure.

Hotel is certainly nice+value for money. Clean, nice garden, modern rooms. Design is typical spanish---tiles etc which are cold. Also noisy as ceiling of my room was wood of floor above, with 3inch thick wooden doors when banged shut, every sound echoed. Unluckily I was ill in bed 2 days and noise of doors dreadful and movement on floor above. No curtains/rugs to absorb. Hot water not on in middle day, many hotels do that not make allowance for tourists in, during day.
