Score from 1867 reviews Very good
Decor and ambience. We were also given a choice of three rooms. It's a short walk to everything in the tightly packed historic centre of Seville. Free self-service coffee and tea was good to have. Staff were very attentive.
Breakfast was a little basic and the quality of some things was a bit suspect. They could have given us some info about parking - we nearly got stuck in the very narrow streets near the hotel!
Staff was helpful Decore was attractive in common areas. Breakfast allowed awide choice. Room was cool, quiet and could open window for refresh air. Walk to all attraction
Voices echoed up from the common areas but no late night noise. Shower was over bath. Position in old town posed a few navigation challenges.
Lobby Area Staff
Lack of parking dark rooms dated furnishings
Relatively inexpensive hotel. Some helpful staff and everything within walking distance.
Hotel is on a very narrow street with fairly high traffic flow. Always had to stand in the doorway waiting for a break in the traffic to leave the property.
Location Close to bars and cafes Friendly and helpful staff Free drinks and pastries from 1100-2200 Comfortable room Very clean
Road noise but ok if windows shut Take care when leaving hotel due to narrow pavement and busy one way street!
Very comfortable hotel in a central position. Excellent breakfast and coffee and tea available all day.
Hotel faces onto a very busy road. Difficult to cross, especially with luggage.
We loved the style and décor of Hotel Abanico. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the staff friendly and very accommodating with directions and reservations. The breakfast buffet had most anything you could want and was reasonably priced.
Our first night was interrupted by loud dripping from above which sounded like a huge leak of some sort. There was no evidence of water but we did not get much sleep. We were able to change rooms for our second night and sleep came a lot easier for us.
Distinctive decor, all day tea and coffee and snacks. Easy to get around, lots of lovely places to eat close by.
We didn't find fault with the hotel.
Quiet room (away from the street) Friendly staff, and authentic feel. Great value for money.
Breakfast was a little overpriced.
Staff very helpful, English spoken. Fantastic location. Great stay for the price.
Not real fancy, but neither was the price!
Especially liked the complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate with pastries or biscuits. The rooms set round the courtyard gave the hotel a lovely Spanish feel. Although we looked on to the road it was quiet at night.
The narrow pavements on the road outside with quite often a lot of cars.
Friendly staff;good location;excellent breakfast.
Very narrow walkways just outside hotel entrance-care needed with traffic.
Location very good after being familiar walking in area. Breakfast VERY GOOD. Also provided coffee tea instant soup all day. Hotel staff VERY friendly.
Wifi didn't work in room. We were on 2nd floor.
Super building interior - moorish feel to it
A bit noisy at night
Situated in old town it gave you immediate impression of old Spain. Walked on cobble stone streets to many of the important sites.
Great location Clean Very helpful staffs. Excellent value
Air condition controlled by staff. Sometimes felt cold at nite and would have liked to turn air condition off or turn the temp down if I had control
The coffee shop was cute. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good too.
Great value (50euro per night) Great location - right in the centro Enjoyed the free coffee/refreshments during the day. It's a real hotel, not a hostel or b&b. Beautiful interior decor.
Wifi only available in the lobby area, but it worked well. Breakfast was actually more expensive than my confirmation indicated, and it looked pretty lame, so I'm glad we didn't get it. They try to make you pay for all your breakfasts at once, which was really weird. Unfortunately, the AC was really weak, and you'll get a bunch of street noise if you're on the street side.
The hotel was walking distance to all the sites of Seville that we wanted to see. It was actually walkable to the train station as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the home feel and design of the hotel.
Everything was good. Just a warning that the main entry opens to a very busy street so be careful!
The decor was fantastic with a central reception area that was so beautiful. The rooms were well furnished and suited the purpose of a perfect nights sleep. The hotel is situated within a ten minute leisurely stroll of the historic quarter.
My room had paper thin walls and I could hear absolutely everything from the room / bathroom next door. If you want a quiet hotel don't go there.
Staff were informative and friendly. Position was perfect. Lovely and cool in the heat of July. nice to have free tea and coffee and orange liquor during the day.
Good central hotel with a nice lobby and lounge area
Rooms a little small. Need to be careful exiting hotel as you step straight into the road.
Lovely small hotel in the center of Seville.
