Bed away from the wall when sitting in bed watching tv and also do not work in the room because the room not cleaned it well hoped to get to the room and I found that just cleaned the bathroom and the bed did it well hopes be comfort but the truth was very bad :(to be 4-star menu limited on Sunday nightnot so nice you serve badly as the staff no swimming pool, in the bedroom, bottled water is not free, poor reception :(

Excellent everything first class

Centrally located hotel in quiet area, short walk to the city center. Good breakfast. Small, local restaurants in the neighbourhood. Helpful and kind staff, parking at 13,75 euros/day in the same buidling. Not too far away from bus stop for transfer with local bus to the airport. Good value for money!

1) Rooms clean and comfortable, quite big. 2) Good service at the reception desk.

1) It's better to have earplugs to sleep! A conversation can be heard from one room to another. 2) At the bar, it was almost a self-service. The waiters didn't feel obliged to go to the tables and ask what we wanted to drink, neither to clean them quickly after people left.

Beds move away from wall when sitting in bed reading, limited food menu on Sunday evening, restaurant staff not as friendly as reception staff, no swimming pool, no tea and coffee facility in bedroom, bottled water not free, poor tv reception (picture blurred and bbc World picture 'froze')

Noise from corridors, doors could be better muffled to avoid the idiots who always slam them, also sound of rain on flat steel object in central shaft.

Helpful staff and friendly, clean hotel and rooms , comfortable ,good decoration , bathroom nice and clean with lots of toiletry stuff, good tv channels. Good location, with shops , bars/restaurants and supermaket nearby.

The room cleaners girls make to much noisy very early in the morning. It would be great to have coffee/tea facilities.

Staff were excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Heating easily controlled. Handy for airport bus. Easy walking distance to anywhere in Alicante. Safe in bedroom.

Nothing really. A hospitality tray would have been nice but I don't think these are common in Spain.

Very professional central establishment with underground parking - Extremely smart and tasteful with excellent service both friendly and efficient. Perfect location and incredible value for money. Usually stay in the Melia by the port but it is undergoing refurbishment presently. Rooms very well designed with beautiful bathrooms. Already booked to go back!!!

The hotel is lovely. The area set aside for smokers is a beautiful, tranquil little spot, perfect for a beer in the afternoon. The room was great, very spacious adn the bath is awesome. Best bath I have used in a hotel. I reccomend using the parking under the hotel. Its 16 euros per day. The street is too tight and your hire car will get scraped by inconsiderste local drivers. Location is actually very good. Initially we were concerned about location as its on a tight dirty looking street (doesnt look like your typical holiday expectation) If you head immediately south you are 0.5 km from the restaurants for tourists. However after a little exploring we discovered that if you go out of the hotel and turn left. Walk along about 200m you are in a cosmopolitan town that is bustling, vibrant and inviting. This area along with the traditinal brit area on teh front provides many options for visitors.

No tea and coffee facilities. Morning one cost us 13 euros for a pot of tea. Solution. there is a supermarket across the street and a ferreteria a few shops down. Kettle 15 euros. all the tea and coffee making materials. 8 Euros. We saved money and now have a new kettle for our next stay. (Abba Centrum, read this feedback and provide tea and coffee making facilities) Im not a typical brit abroad but still enjoy a tea first thing. On the face immediately the location is a little shabby but the area is quite safe.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Super little pub across the street.

Lots of strange noises during the night. (Plumbing maybe?)

Comfortable, wel appointed room ("executive room").

Only negative comment is the room TV. A small, 4:3 ratio screen. Very distorted widescreen images. Don't stay here if you're keen on watching telly!

Location close to the railway station

The accommodation was more like a suite than a one person room. Good quality furniture, excellent bathroom, impressive flat screen tv with some UK channels and fast FREE internet.

The street scene was not initally very welcoming.

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was great, excellent value for money.

Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke sufficient english. The shower had good water pressure.

The breakfast was tiny and was mostly sweets.
