- Perfect location (the hotel is located on the beautiful square; it's really good for walks and see sights around) - We had room with view on patio and it was very peace; - Good gym, not bad sauna (turkish + finnish); - The hotel has own underground parking Breakfast was not bad, but there wasn't fresh juices

The exterior of the hotel and position looked quite impressive and in keeping with the historic city of Salamanca. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was of good quality and varied choice. The room size was good, the bed large and comfortable, and the en suite facilities of high standard. Secure undergound parking available at additional cost. The interior design of the hotel did not match the exterior. It was modern, impersonal and basically just like a thousand other hotel chains. The attitude of the staff matched this profile - they were not rude or unhelpful but overall gave the impression of disinterest.

It's close to the city centre. It's comfortable. It's warm. Nearly everything works. Everyone is quite helpful. I've stayed here before and found it difficult to find fault, but this time I had room 101 and I should have guessed really!! Nothing was wrong exactly but the shower couldn't make up its mind whether to be scalding hot or freezing cold, the bathroom floor wasn't dirty but it hadn't been cleaned properly and the power points overheated all my appliances. The "free" wifi was a complete waste of time - thoroughly slow and couldn't pick up email so I had to resort to mobile Internet. Altogether about normal for modern hotels. If you want everything to work like a palace go to Scotland!

Abba Fonseca was the ideal location to discover Salamanca on foot with safe parking for the car. We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Overall not bad; however one was somewhat put out by the dead coachroach in the bathroom and a bucket of 3 empty bottles of wine outside the door. Also it has the annoying habit of offerring "free" wi-fi at a limited speed or expensive. Lovely building, in a lovely setting in a splendid city. The preparedness of the room The "free" wi-fi trick

The location of the hotel was excellent, being just a short walk from the gorgeous buildings of Salamanca. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Without asking, we were given a room on the top floor with beautiful views of the city. The room was really spacious with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom had everything needed and more. The secure parking was very good and worth paying for. We were able to use the internet in the lobby free of charge.

It's design, it's location, it's parking facilities, it's services, the staff service and the comfortable rooms. Besides, it's truly value for money. It's a real hotel that allows you to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Had on site car parking, but parking bays too tight.Close to town centre. On request, I was first told that no iron was available for my clothes, something essential for travellers. The staff were most difficult about supplying one stating safety as the reason for no availability.

This was a slick hotel located about 10-15 minutes away from the Plaza Mayor; it is rather tucked away, so is easy to miss without the help of a good map! My room was generously proportioned with a nice view of the Old Town. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It was also possible to pick up BBC World on the television, which is not something to be taken for granted when travelling around Spain. The free WiFi was generally efficient, though the password, available from the Reception, seems to change without warning. I guess it lacked the friendliness and charm of a smaller hotel, but this is perhaps unsurprising. Nonetheless, all the staff I encountered were efficient and polite.

This hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Salamanca and a huge underground car park. The breakfasts are very good. The evening meals are quite outstanding. The chef is brilliant and the meals are beautifully presented. We ate there both evenings of our stay but very few other guests did so. The price was a mere 46 euros for 2 and this included a good bottle of Ribera Del Duero wine. Service was good too.

The hotel was extremely charming. Set in an old building but updated with modern decor, this hotel has all the necessary amenities. It is also set in an ideal location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel. The wifi requires a username and pass code EACH time one logs in, and it only lasts one day.
