Location perfect to visit this marvellous town of Salamanca, everything in walking distance, as well for a night walk in the illuminated historic town centre. Parking expensive, but convinient in the basement garage.

The free Wifi is poor. Disappointing that you have to upgrade for 9 € a day, unique on our trip, scandalous for a quality of this kind of hotel, 4 stars.

Location. Friendly & helpful staff.

Unfriendly waiter (or maitre) refusing to serve us food at midnight despite service being advertised until 00:30, or even 1am. Our son arrived on a late bus from Madrid, the weather was dreadful & we were hoping to have a quick bite without going outside. Alas.

A great little city. The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk from all the main tourist spots. If you are on a bike the secure parking is comforting (we got charged half the published rate),

Both desk receptionists were cool and aloof, a striking change after the consistently friendly and helpful staff at the small hotels we normally use.

We were given a large room with very comfortable beds. We were here only on night so did not have any meals in he restaurant. Location is good.

Location was superb. Easy walking distance to all the sights.

- Perfect location (the hotel is located on the beautiful square; it's really good for walks and see sights around) - We had room with view on patio and it was very peace; - Good gym, not bad sauna (turkish + finnish); - The hotel has own underground parking

The exterior of the hotel and position looked quite impressive and in keeping with the historic city of Salamanca. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was of good quality and varied choice. The room size was good, the bed large and comfortable, and the en suite facilities of high standard. Secure undergound parking available at additional cost.

The interior design of the hotel did not match the exterior. It was modern, impersonal and basically just like a thousand other hotel chains. The attitude of the staff matched this profile - they were not rude or unhelpful but overall gave the impression of disinterest.

Great location close to the old town and Plaza Mayor

It's close to the city centre. It's comfortable. It's warm. Nearly everything works. Everyone is quite helpful.

I've stayed here before and found it difficult to find fault, but this time I had room 101 and I should have guessed really!! Nothing was wrong exactly but the shower couldn't make up its mind whether to be scalding hot or freezing cold, the bathroom floor wasn't dirty but it hadn't been cleaned properly and the power points overheated all my appliances. The "free" wifi was a complete waste of time - thoroughly slow and couldn't pick up email so I had to resort to mobile Internet. Altogether about normal for modern hotels. If you want everything to work like a palace go to Scotland!

Abba Fonseca was the ideal location to discover Salamanca on foot with safe parking for the car.

We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Excellent location. The room was really spacious, clean, and had a great view of the city, that is wonderful at night. You can do everything walking. Great Staff.

Overall not bad; however one was somewhat put out by the dead coachroach in the bathroom and a bucket of 3 empty bottles of wine outside the door. Also it has the annoying habit of offerring "free" wi-fi at a limited speed or expensive. Lovely building, in a lovely setting in a splendid city.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being just a short walk from the gorgeous buildings of Salamanca. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Without asking, we were given a room on the top floor with beautiful views of the city. The room was really spacious with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom had everything needed and more. The secure parking was very good and worth paying for. We were able to use the internet in the lobby free of charge.

Great location, nice interior, quite smart but relaxed style, easy week-end parking. Good breakfast.
