Abba Rambla Hotel  

Very modern hotel, close to all the main tourist attractions and the seafront. Lovely bright spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only disadvantage to this hotel is the district in which it is located (Raval). This area is slightly dangerous at night time and I wouldn't advise walking around there alone after dark.

The location is perfect. Close to Placa Catalunya, to the sea, to the market (our favourite place:).

Not the best of areas around the hotel, my wife did not feel comfortable at first but gradually go used to the busy streets.

Its great hotel 4 stars hotels in uk or German's standard the only bad point the surrounding neighbourhood but about the hotel itself I still think it should be 4 stars hotel.

I was in Barcelona for a party two streets away from the hotel so from that point of view the location was perfect. Under normal circumstance I would NEVER stay in this area called Raval. I lived in Barcelona for six years until recently and it´s really not a nice area. I know three people who´ve had jewellery ripped from their necks on the street!

The breakfast was awful! Tinned fruit e.g. peaches and pears, warm milk for cereal, hot dog/frankfurter type sausages and bright yellow scrambled egg made from powdered, caterers egg! As for the bacon; this was the fattiest, greasiest bacon I´ve ever seen. I could´t eat it! And they charge 13.50 Euros for this!!

In general it's a good hotel... Some things to be improved: cleaning should be better, Internet should be free in the rooms...

Location was brilliant within easy walking distance to the Ramblas and the port, we had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the square where you could see the parrots in the palm trees and watch the world go by ,would stay here again when we return to Barcelona.

The only thing I could say negative about the hotel was the breakfast,if we returned we would have breakfast in one of the many resturants,coffee bars in the area.

Beds could have been more comfortable

We loved our rooms, especially the bathrooms. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location was also excellent, within easy walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay in this hotel again if ever given the opportunity to return to Barcelona.

Surroundigs - lot's of small streets where you shold watch out for the thiefs

Good located and very good attention at reception desdk. Clean room and near Ramblas.

Hotel was excellent. The staff (particularly Alex) were very helpful. If you want to stay in Central Barce you won't find better for the money.

The hotel is closely connected to most of Barcelona touristic site with a minimum walking distance

Lack of free wifi in the rooms (as each guest is allowed 1 free internet hour through wifi but in the lobby only)
