Sercotel Abbot Barcelona  

The hotel location is verry good, quite area and Sans Estatio is right around the corner where u have access to Metro L3 and L5 lines that basicly take u to the most important places in Barcelona. Over the street there is a Supermarket (Mercadona) with good prices for drinks, food and much more. Hotel has a verry friendly staff that speaks english and they are verry, verry helpfull. Room is verry clean, beeds are made every day, sheets change at about 2 days and towels daily if u want. Code security box is available for free, also WiFi (about 4Mbps).

Rooms are not verry good isolated, you hear people on the hallway how they slam the doors. Some cracks here and there even tho the hotel apears to be new painted. To be honest nothing made a bad impression for me ...is just some remarks and you should not take in consideration when u decide to get there. Is indeed a great value for money.

Positive: Location, cleaniness.

Negative: staff at check-in seemed in a very bad mood. I said hello, the guy didn't answer; I gave my reservation paper and the only word the guy addressed to me was: passport! Before I went up to my room he did an effort to explain the wifi password which considering his mood I think I have to be very thankful. A bit noisy because my room was close to an elevator.

The staff were very good and minded our bags for us when we did a side trip. They were helpful, friendly and informative. The room was well appointed and very clean. Comfy bed, too. There were other facilities, such as a solarium, that we didn't investigate as it only an overnight stay.

Cracked mirror doors needed replacing.

Location is verry good,next to the train & subway station, lovely breakfast, great value for money, but everything is closed after 23...

Use of minibar for our own food and drinks. View out the front window. Conservation of energy with use of electricity only while we were in the room.

Towels were changed even when we did not put them on the floor.

I liked its location to the nearby underground - Terragonna station. It's really close to the main train station - Barcelona Sants.

-No spa, no pool -below a 4 star hotel standards -very small rooms -the free wi-fi wasn't working most of the time -very stupid and expensive parking system

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Metro station and Renfe station very near. Very easy to get it there from airport.

Room was very small, when they put a third bed in room it was no more space in room. Room is not so luxury like 4 star hotel should be. It would be more like good 3 star hotel.

The stuff is incredibly helpful. The room is very nice. The breakfast is basic but tasty. The location is good, easy to reach by public transport since it is next (3-5 min walking) to Sains Barcelona, a hub where several renfe and metro lines meet. It costs only 22-23 eur to get to the hotel from the airport. There is a direct renfe line from the airport to Sains. I do reccommend this hotel

It is not a walking distance from the city center. I costs about 7-10 eur to reach the city center by taxi.

Very good situation near to the station and metro. Easy with train from airport Very helpful personnal at the reception. Good breakfast Early coming friends received the room already in the morning. Very helpful for the lugage
