Very good, nice and clean place. The staff are very helpfull and very nice. it's very close to the metro and Gran Via " Daniela - the girl that is in charge - she is very nice, very helpfull, very decent and can speak english well "
Great staff, clean room with everything you need to spend a few days in Madrid,
Bathroom a little small, no desk to work at (business only)
Very very good staff!
The space of the room(minus the space taken by the bed) is really only for 1 person though I booked a room with one queen size bed.
As a hostel, it is excellent.
It was a little difficult to find. No sign.
The staff were incredible, Daniella especially, who provided us with some valuable advice about the city. The B&B provided the most delicious bottle of complimentary CAVA (spanish sparkling wine) upon arrival. Room was clean and B&B centrally located.
The room was very small, and had a lingering scent of cigarette smoke from the previous occupant.
Modern rooms situated in the heart of Madrid. Close access to the Metro. Very friendly staff. Everything was spotless.Free wifi was an unexpected surprise.Excellent value for your money. Will definitely come back.
location: close to metro line no 3 and 10 staff: very helpful staff
Staffs are friendly and willing to satisfy our request if need. The place is close to metro and Plaza de España
Everything was good Nice room, clean, not noisy Staff, very friendly WIFI worked perfectly
Decent location, especially for the price.
The pictures made this place look much nicer than it really is. My room was interior-facing, so the view was of an alley. The bathroom made clanking noises all night. The radiator didn't work. The TV was almost literally on the ceiling. The walls and door were so thin I heard everyone who walked through the hallways outside all night. The place wasn't horrible, but it wasn't all that great, even for the price, and I really didn't appreciate how heavily the staff encouraged me to rate them highly on every travel and hotel website.
- Very friedly / helpfull staff -Top Location! -Super Clean (each day full room-service) -Rooms are well equipped! (incl Hairdryer, TV, AC)
Related to the price you pay - for us absolutely OK to live with - but even worth to mention: - Rather badly soundproofed (you hear when neighbour takes a shower/use the hairdryer) -Twin-Bed was comfortable but small(120-200cm)
Nice position, 5 minutes to the center of the city and 50m to metro station. The bed was very comfortable, and the room clean.
Little bit noisy at night, specially during weekend 'cause of a main street in front of the room
The location is just excellent! In the centre of Madrid with everything in walking distance. I never had to ride the metro to go anywhere (although there is a metro station right infront of the Hostel), I walked everywhere.
Nice staff Acomodation is ok Location
They use a strong smell in the entrace Small rooms
Comfortable bed Great location Friendly staff
Poor Wifi Small rooms, little light (though nicely designed) Strong cleaning smell in hallway
the staff is really nice and tried to solve all of my problems, and the room is not so big but has everything you need. i like they care about the details. really good experice!
the shower should be better, the temperature of water is a little out of control.
Nice staff, friendly and very helpful! The location is good. very convenient! Although the room is small, the bed is big enough.
Clean Room,Fast-wifi , very close to metro station, 5min walk to Granvia Road, and Plaza de Espnana. Value for money. Lovely Sweet gift.
The washstand was too small, and the shelf in front of mirror in bathroom should be moved to other place to fix, so you can avoid to bumped your head during you wash your face ( I think, they have never tried to wash their face after fix this shelf on the place they using now) Too tight shower booth. and I think they have to improve the drainage of shower booth as well(The water goes too slow....;) Bed size is just OK for 2. no more less. But The Long pillow was so hard and high ,was so uncomfortable for me. i Had bad neck pain, during i stay here.
Daniella is charming and extremly helpful. The rooms a on a small side but all the facilities are there so for a short stay it is perfect.
Not much to dislike. There is no wardrobe for the clothes, so not suitable for business travel if you need to look super smart.
Great reception service, very convenient location, super close to Metro L2, easy to go to all the sightseeing spots in Madrid. 15mins walking to Puerta de Sol. No provate parking of the hostal, I found one 24h parking space called Garajes Reim, 3~5mins walking. Not quite sure about the price because left in hurry. I parked there about 17:00 on Sunday, and left about 2:00 on Tuesday morning. The total price is 48Euros.
The bed is a little bit small for two people...the shower is too high, as a result the water is not big enough.
- Location - Cleanliness - Price - Staff If you don't need a fancy hotel to overnight, which is cheap, clean and close to everything this is really the place to be! Don't go there if you're used to luxury!
- The wifi has really poor connection, this should be improved! - Rooms are not very soundproof
Great staff (Daniela, Cris, everyone) excellent service. nice clean room. Location is perfect. close to Gran via but still very quiet. would definitely stay there again the next time i go back to Madrid. :-)
Value for money Clean Good location
Pillows were not comfortable at all or it was me
Staying at Hostal Abel Victoriano was an absolute pleasure. The staff were very sweet and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently located with a metro stop just outside and easy walking distance to main city arteries. In the back streets nearby the neighborhood offers a number of lovely cafes, bars and vintage shops. I'm really satisfied with my overall experience.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and overall it was a great deal for the money.
The wi-fi was rather spotty (though, admittedly, that's not uncommon in Madrid) and it was a bit noisy in the morning which is only a problem because I am a very light sleeper. Otherwise, it was great!
