This is my 2nd consecutive visit to the Hotel, and I continue to be very impressed in all areas of the hotels facilities, cleanliness and above all the friendliness of all the staff. Special mention to "Cleapatra" (can't remember her real name) on the front desk, and Ajo, the brilliant maid who looks after the 8th floor. both of these are a real credit to the Hotel. I would thoroughly recommend the AC Alicante to anyone who doesn't mind a 10 minute walk to the main beach (good excersise) the pool is great, the gym, steam room and spa are great, and of course the free mini-bar is a nice touch. I would also recommend the lovely "Cafe' Mari Carmen" (100 yds away) Alberto, Evan and the ladies are so friendly and helpful (best coffee in Alicante')

This is my 5th consecutive booking at the ac Hotel Alicante and I remain as pleased with the overall experience as much now, as I did on my first trip. From being first met, to departure I cannot praise all the staff enough, everyone is friendly, but not invasive, and all are very professional and attentive should you require anything additional. The comfort and cleanliness of the Hotel remains very high and it's clear that the staff take pleasure & pride in ensuring that your stay is enjoyable. I am looking forward to making my next booking . . . . hopefully in June!! The free mini bar is great, but I notice it is soft drinks only now. Is this a Marriott policy? - - seems a bit penny pinching to me!

Well equipped, clean, modern rooms. Nice gym, Turkish bath and roof-top pool. Hotel in general clean, modern and pleasant. Male staff generally polite and pleasant, as opposed to female staff (with exception of very well-mannered cleaners) Horrible female evening receptionist - very rude and patronising. Staff in the breakfast room also very rude, no smile, no "good morning", zero service. Breakfast buffet expensive and not worth it, better walk into town and have breakfast in a bar. The entire hotel is overheated and stuffy, impossible to stay in the rooms without having windows wide open, regardless of road noise. Conference room good, but again awfully stuffy.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Probably the most helpful we have had. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. So I gave excellent for this. Also Alicante city is very good for service and especially price.

Excellent value for money. Very modern, comfortable & spotlessly clean rooms. Very friendly, helpful staff. Only 15 mins taxi ride from airport & a 15-20 minute walk from Promenade. Would highly recommend to anybody.

This is my second stay at the ac this year (first was May Bank Holiday Weekend). I chose it for its overall quality and price – good value compared to some similar standard which are closer into town but more expensive as a result. The rooftop pool is a great, quiet place to relax – a small pool so not really ideal for swimming, but great for a dip to cool down (note: no pool towels provided). The position of the hotel is fine – just a 15-20 minute walk into town along the front is very pleasant, and just 15-20 minute taxi ride from the airport (17 Euros) is really convenient. Checkout is 12, although you can keep your room until 3pm with no charge (any longer than that you have to pay half daily rate I believe). Hotel suitable for single travellers or couples – not families or groups. Other hotels I've stayed at of similar/same standard and quality have provided free pool towels – just a minor niggle, and only 'negative' I can think of!

Totalmente cierto que el diseño es importante diseño, funcional y práctico; muy muy bien detalle mini bar gratis: ok Desayuno muy bien (variedad y cantidad) En pleno agosto la piscina siempre ocupadísima I llenisima (está limitada a 15 personas, aunque nadie hace caso), supongo que es lógico

Great location for the city, yet one short drive to the airport (all on the same road, so easy to find). Good service, clean, crisp furniture and fittings, overall a good choice for a short city break on the way to the airport.
