Without a car difficult to access due to steep incline and somewhat deserted streets which may be daunting to some guests. A periodic shuttle service, e.g., every fifteen minutes would be ideal and not too troublesome for the hotel as it is a three minute drive to town center. |

the hotel was beautiful, and no faults at all except it would be a good idea if they had a shuttle bus to run down into Gerona as the bank is very steep and quite lonely walking back late at night. Also there no restaurants near the hotel. I did complain as we were there 7 nights and we were kept awake most nights with dogs barking in nearby houses, I was told at reception to buy some earplugs |

good looking hotel very impersonal, few quests, long way out of centre, serious walk uphill from town, poorly decorated in rooms, small rooms, no views, no facilities, no coffee making facilities. |

Our plane was delayed and we arrived at midnight. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and we were able to get some food. The room was extremely well appointed and comfortable. The outlook from the hotel is stunning. The breakfast was excellent and justified the high price. |

Price and location were good. free mini bar and freedom to use breakfast room if we wanted to have a coffee and croissant and just pay for those items rather than have the whole breakfast. Arrived late but there was still good food available. |

Convenient stroll to the centre of Girona; very friendly and helpful staff; very comfortable rooms with all conveniences including complimentary soft drinks and beer. It would have been nice if there was a swimming pool as it was so warm when we were there. |

Friendly helpful staff, speaking english. Comfort in rooms. Close proximity to town. Good direction signs to hotel coming from Figueres, although they should start earlier. Echoing coridors, any noise during the night was amplified. Staff starting early 05.30 were making telephone calls, we could hear te phone ringing. The room next door had an early morning call at 06.00. Some noisy customers late at night? Better sound insulation on doors might help. Difficult access by road. |

The decor of the rooms and bathrooms and the whole lobby area is contempory and feels luxurious but not at all pretentious - which is why I return to this hotel. Great to ahve a free mini bar in the room and the view from the huge terrace overlooking Girona is stunning - but they should put a pool on it, like the other AC hotels Barcelona -would make it even hipper place to hang out! The room's aircon, even on the low fan, was blasting a powerful force onto the bed which is not everyone's liking when trying to sleep. I had this in another room last time too. Pity they can't get that right. |
