AC Hotel Palau de Bellavista by Marriott  

4Th time here. Free parking, nice rooms, great views from the terrace,quiet location yet walking distance to town (10 mins) or taxi 7 euros. Would be perfect if it had a pool, plenty of room for one. Cant go wrong for 80 euros

No coffee facilities in room

The view from the hotel lobby and terrace is simply breathtaking. Upon our arrival, the weather was terible, but on the next morning we were able to have a wonderful breakfast with a splendid view to the Pirinées. Hotel rooms are very spacious, well equiped and quiet.

The garage has no direct access to the hotel, so if it's raining, after you leave the car, get ready to get wet! We were given a 'smokers' room and after we said that we wanted a 'non-smokers' room, we weren't given many options and staff was rather clumsy, stating that the hotel was full, bla bla bla

Fantastic location - out of town peace & quiet yet just a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Wonderful terrace. Comfortable, modern, clean room. Friendly and efficient staff. Perfect for our needs.

The hotelstandard is good.Breakfast is expensive and has a low standard. To have internet access in the room the holel charge 12 Euros per 24 hours and did not work properly. Two contacts with supplyer did not help. Management very unfriendly.

The hotel is very well located close to the old city, bars, restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel has amazing exterior terraces, that in the summer would be great and have a stunning view out over the city. Free parking is a big plus as parking within Girona is expensive.

It is a little 'sterile' in it's feel, maily due to the vast spaces in the main hotel areas and it does feel very 'business' orientated! The location is excellent but those that have walking difficulties should pay attention as the walk back to the hotel is very steep (however it's great for walking off dinner and the area you walk back though is very nice).

We took advantage of an offer: 75 euros for the double room and 5 euros for the bouffet breakfast, for that prize this 5* hotel provided amazing value for money. At full prize, I'm not sure if the hotel is worth it. Only glitch, Wifi is not free in the rooms, this is clearly something to work on.

This is not 4 questions, this is a lot more, it was fine, can't really see 5 star rating though. Very quiet, left alone, but almost boring. No complaints, clean tidy, pleasant, reasonable price

We stayed at the Bellavista for 4 days in October. The location of the Hotel is good as the old walled town was easily accessible. There is a climb up to the Hotel but it is make easier if you take a right at no entry sign. The hotel was very clean and the view superb. We did however find it a little poor that they were only able to offer a room service menu on 2 days of our stay, I consider a beef burger and chips in the bar at 18 euros to be expensive!

Too post-modern. Internet should be free throughout hotel. Very random all together, not a welcoming structure.

No free internet in the room, only in lobby, bathroom not clean at all, toilet with water problem , for 5* hotel - shame-shame-shame!!!

The staff was wonderful...very helpful and professional. Loved the room; it had lots of character and comfort. The mini bar was free. I would have liked the Internet to be free in the room, but it was free in the lobby (beautiful lobby by the way). You need to be in good health or have a car as the hotel is on a hill (beautiful view). We loved walking up and down the hill to the town. The historical area is very close and there are lots of resturants and shops (good prices). Taxi ride (about 10 minutes) to a Mall with excellent (not expensive) shopping. Barcelona is a 1 1/2 hour lovely train ride away---but you don't need it as there's lots to do and see locally. LOVELY THREE-DAY WEEKEND!!! Took my daughter and now want to come back with my husband.
