Renaissance Barcelona Hotel  

They have had a renovation at the time and I have not been inforemed when I was booking this hotel at booking.com and I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel.

Nice big clean rooms. Only problem was we were a couple and the king sized bed was made by pushing two doubles together. Huge bathroom, wood floors, nice big windows. A nice room to come back to after a long day exploring barcelona. Only problem was no balcony and windows aren't really designed to be opened. Hotel design feels very sixties, like stepping into a Madmen episode. Nice bar and lobby area with plenty of room for chilling out. Quiet at night, good for sleeping or working in the room for a business traveler. A bit of a walk to old city and Las Ramblas, but this was perfect for us. Good for travelers with kids / business travelers or leisure travlelers who want to get their sleep and need nice, comfortable quiet room to retreat to at night. Service by staff was excellent.

Can't get regular "big" bottles of water from room service. Charge you 3 euro for ridiculous glass designer bottles that can't be resealed. Also - no bell service after midnight. We had a flight at 4am, and with a lot of luggage, could have used some help.

I stayed 3 nights at the large and clean room .location is excellent near the shopping 10 min walking to ramblas also near bus and metro station in quite cross ....breakfast is delicious staff is good and fair but could be better but it is normal in spain that was third time I have been in Spain.bath and toilet are clean finally I enjoyed to stay there as 4 star hotel .wifi was available in Lobby

Pool is so small it is ot a pool it is just for baby .

The location was excellent. The views were nice and the roof top terrace was nice as well. I liked the complimentary coffee

I did not like that the complimentary coffee ended at 7:30.

The location was ideal for the City Centre & was close to several good bars & restaurants. It was also handy for gaining access to trains & the Metro.

Les grands espaces, la taille et la décoration de la chambre, le petit déjeuner au bar, la situtation géographique.

Deberían avisar de que está en obras y por lo mismo rebajar el precio, los andamios están instalados en la fachada y no permiten , en algún caso, ver la calle.Se oye el ruido de las obras.

Habitacion confortable sin ruidos si estas en piso alto.

Recepcionistas desagradables, sin saber dar respuesta a proiblemas tecnicos para hacer una llave de entrada mas, no avisaron que estan de reformas y no se puede utilizar el gimnasio, ningun detalle.

Habia estado en el hotel diversas veces, e una de ellas tuve un problema que me resolvieron enseguida

No es queja,, el hotel , antes ac, ha pasado a manos de otra cadena, parece ser que cambirarán el nombre y será un 5 estrellas, Veremos si el cambio será positivo, hasta hoy había sido mi hotel de refrencia en Barcelona
