The sport facilities were good and the staff were friendly. Very close to beach and local trips. The rooms need updating, more modern to suit the rest of the hotel. The food is also not 5 star. |

everything was great, food was very good, we liked also the sport facilities like padel one padel racket we rent in reception was broken and we couldn't play well, elevation of the buildings need some renovation, it was very hard to set the optimal temperature of the water during the shower |

The rooms were lovely, the food at breakfast was great, and the pool area was very nice. There was only 2 staff on when we were checking in and there was a large queue so there was quite a wait, and there is a bit of a hill down to the beach. |

Very Good evening entertainment. Very pleasant staff especially in the bar and restaurant always smiling! Not 5 star facilities .No water in the room, no tea and coffee facilities. Wine never cold enough at dinner. Had to ask for a wine cooler every time not always provided even then. Not enough staff on at meal times. Food okay not excellent. Breakfast should go on till 10.30. Only one person cooking omlettes and fried eggs always big queue and the same at dinner only one person cooking the fish and meat. No sauces or deserts labelled so you never knew what anything was. |

My fiance and I have recenly returned from a stayat the Gran Adeje and we thorughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our bags were taken to our room by a member of the hotel staff, which was helpfull, as I have recetly had an operation on my knee. From this point onwards the hotel staff were polite and helpfull and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although the hotel was busy there were plenty of sun beds available in the morning and whilst you had to occasionaly join a small queue at meal times the staff quickly allocated tables to ensure any delays were kept to a minimal. The only aspect of the hotelwe found to be dissapointing was that the beds were rather hard and uncomfotable, although the rooms were nice and comfortable overall. |

Room was spacious, clean and nice balcony. Plenty of sports activities when the day was cloudy, good table tennis tables, some night entertainment although we preferred to go out of the hotel during that time. Reception area was very nice, good sunbeds and pool on the top floor if you manage to get your sunbed early in the morning. All in all a great time was had here. Breakfast was average, Not a good selection of restaurants nearby if you selected half-board, I would recommend playa la fanabe instead of playa le duque if you want a good selection of restaurants and food. |

Hotel was conveniently located near airport, rooms were spacious but we had to have ours changed due to v.loud mechanical intermittent noise which kept us awake for first two nights. No problem changing room but not exactly apologetic! A better description of layout of hotel would be useful when booking the rooms. We were initially at the back at the very bottom, not a particularly nice spot compared to the front or sides overlooking pool or sea. Prices in bar were outrageous! See above about location of room. Also you have to pay extra for safe, amount is small, but this facility should be included in the price. |

Cleanliness and design of hotel. Rooms excellent. The buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner is not 5 star ! I have had as good in a 3 star. Its the usual overcowded situation with very often no tables available. |

Very nice hotel with good location and facilities, staff was very friendly and professional and really trying their best to fullfill customer's wish/request if you had anything. We especially enjoyed the large swimming pools. Good variety in the menu in the restaurant over the week (we had half boarding). |

The service and attention from personnel was very good. Very helpful staff at the reception and the rooms although the people in the pool have "delusions of grandeur" and are not very nice. The food wasn´t at the standard expected. I recommend not to take the half/full board options. Maybe the breakfast but nothing more. Also, there are some nice restaurants at 10 minutes walk from the hotel in "Beach of the Prince", so why staying in the hotel for having lunch and dinner when you can make the best of it outside? |

Friendly staff, sunbeds plenty available, both in the shade and sun. The rooms were spacious, with a nice sitting area. The hotel is located close to the beach, though the hill towards is very steep. The shopping mall closeby is very new and luxury. Plenty parking space. The gardens were well-kept with beautiful plants. In general the hotel is really in a tourist area, no Spanish food available within 5 km. It's sirloin steak everywhere. Lots of tattoo's, piercings, I would go for a more Spanish tourist area like Puerta de la Cruz.The breakfast was very extended, but the quality was poor. Very fat. The eggs didn't taste at all, cheap cheeses. The hotel is very big, so the breakfast area was loaded with people, screaming kids. We chose for yoghurt and bananas, so that wasn't worth the money. No heated outdoor pool! The sauna/spa was really poor, only available on request, so you needed to wait half an hour before the sauna was at 80 degrees. The spa area was very cold, had no cold tub, no fresh air. And costed 10 euro per half an hour. |

The reception area/entrance was very grand. we loved the swimming pools and the pool bar (very relaxing). The rooms were spacious and nice bathroom. There is a lovely Promanade walk along sea-front in both directions, suitable for joggers too. Although the beach was only 10 mins walk, the walk back up-hill to hotel is very steep. |

5 stars and inexpensive. Good room, great breakfast, interesting design (a lot of plants and open air in hallways), not far from beach and from center, free table tennis, swimming pool on the roof. Some minor points, but nothing really serious |

We enjoyed the peace, relaxation and weather during the day. The night entertainment was very good and the staff friendly, especially the blonde lady in the ladies shop who was just so helpful. We thought the overall cost for half board still quite expensive especially extras for TV. The shower in the room we stayed in is not 5star quality as it regulated itself and was liable to fall off the unit at any time. We stayed with you some years ago and this time we noticed the place in general showing wear and tear.The main course meals in the restaurant were poor on some of the nights as the choice of meats and fish limited. |

Standard of comfort of the room and the location/views were very good. An excellent swimming pool. The standard of the food in the main buffet was poor in comparison with other 5-star hotels we had experienced in this area. Although individually, staff were helpful and courteous, there were insuffcient of them to do the job required and service was poor. As a result the buffet was chaos at busy times with tables remaining uncleared, and guests wandering around looking for somewhere to sit. Similarly the A La Carte restaurant served good food but service was slow, again not enough staff. Facilities had been closed - there was only one bar open in the evening and the main entertainment lounge also closed. We were left with the impression that management had cut staff, facilites and food quality to save money or make larger profits. |

The large room looking out at the mountains, the rooftop sunbathing, the proximity to the airport and to the shops and restaurants. The service (in November) was poor. We stayed in the lovery outdoor courtyard to hear the evening entertainment and had to wat 30 - 40 minutes for table sevice to bring a drink - in the end we gave up. The food at the evening buffet is not 5 star- its fine but more like 3 star. |
