Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa  

This hotel deseves it's 5 star rating.Excellent public area facilities,the pools and gardens are extensive and well maintained, restaurants have good food and service, the bedrooms are large and well serviced. The main memory will be the friendly, helpful and professional staff.

The Sheraton Intrenet Center needs reviewed - it was always occupied by young children all day long playing computer games - they need to be provided with a separate area and facilities. As a result we had to give up trying to use the Center and found on returning home that we had correspodence that should have been dealt with earlier.

location/staff/comfort/atmosphere

Main restaurants poor quality food. But two others ie La Venta and Japanese were superb.

Very family friendly, great kids facilities, lovely heated baby pool and well organised kids club. The hotel was easy to get around with a buggy and we were 5 minutes walk away from Duque beach and shops / restaurants.

Seawater pool was freezing cold and we didn't see anyone using it during our stay (in November) which was a shame as it was beautiful - in the summer it is probably used more.

Trees and green everywhere, good services, big pools, kind people

The position, very faraway from the Playa las americas centre and there is no beach, just swimming pools

The hotel was very Luxurious and comfortable, the location was good, it was near the beach, breakfast was dilicious. Restaurants in the hotel were very good. Food was tasty. Rooms were clean and comportable, view from the balcony was perfect. Pools were clean. The staff was very warm and attantive.

We liked the free spa entrance and the computers equipped with free internet. La venta restaurant was great and delicious, would love to dine there again. The breakfast was very good, many things to choose.

The price was too high comparing to the room quality and location. The room needs to be renovated, furniture worn out and tv too old.

The hotel was stunning and the staff were very helpful and assisted us with all our queries. We found our stay to be extremely comfortable and relaxing set in a lovely location with beautiful grounds and amenities. The food choice was great and the champagne at breakfast every day was wonderful. Would return to this resort again in a heartbeat.

Free upgrade to superior room, all rooms are very spacious, all equipments are available for a 5star room. Very big bathroom. Ask a room with sunset view, very nice when sun goes under island La Gomera in front of the hotel. Direct access to sea promenade. Many seats and quiet spaces around the swimming pools, very friendly staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choice.

Just on small remark, carpets in corridor need a renewal.

we would have liked a possible itv english television chanel, not worldwide english speaking news chanels because of the bad weather we had. but that is all really.

Great hotel and facilities, great location, sumptuous breakfast, good restaurants (also at the pool side) at reasonable prices, free usage of 6 internet connected PCs, friendly and accurate staff.

Las instalaciones son excelentes. El Spa, pequeño pero de lujo. El desayuno buffet es increíblemente completo, aunque bajo la Dirección anterior, ofrecían ciertos detalles de lujo que ya no existen. Las piscinas y la zona de hamacas, amplia y bien atendida. Las terrazas nocturnas con música en directo mientras tomas una copa. El personal, en general atento y servicial. La ubicación es excelente.

Las habitaciones se están quedando algo desfasadas en ciertos detalles. Por ejemplo, un hotel de 5* no puede tener tv de tubo. Aunque algunos detalles han empeorado la calificación global desde nuestra última estancia hace 5 años, sigue siendo uno de los mejores hoteles de todo Tenerife.
