The location is mountain countryside with spectacular scenery. The cleanliness is unquestionable and the welcome is second to none. The lady who runs the guest house is extremely friendly and an excelent cook. The food is mainly Basque and all the ingredients are fresh and locally produced, some from her own vegetable garden. So far only used as a night stop enroute to our final destination but may in future stay longer for a Basque Holiday as there is so much to see and do.

We were unable to speak enough Spanish to be able to tell her that the shower head needs changing as it sprayed in too many directions.

Lovely welcome. Beautiful views and enjoyable meals. Comfortable, simple room with good beds. Would stay again!

Landing at Bilbao we wanted a base for two nights whilst we explored the area prior to moving on. Via Satnav we found the hotel with little difficulty. The landlady was extremely welcoming and we managed to communicate in French - we do not speak Spanish and she did not speak English! The hotel was plain and simple, but the decor and furnishings were first class. A fixed menu for both the evening meal and breakfast was provided and in all instances was very good and reasonably priced. We will not hesitate to book again. A very warm introduction to the Basque region of Spain.

The room was spotless and the lady who runs it was very nice. Unfortunately I only speak English and German and she only speaks Spanish and French so we struggled a bit with communication but she was very friendly! Pretty basic accomodation if you like your extra touches but it was spotless (so clean! I don't think i've ever stayed in a cleaner place) had free wifi, good working shower and I had the best 2 nights sleep i've had for ages so i was very happy - also it was excellent value for money.

It was a bit hard to find the address (my sat nav didn't accept a street number) but you can call them and they will give you easy to follow directions.

Ione es encantadora y hace que te sientas como en casa. La cocina es casera y muy rica al igual que el pacharan y licor de manzana que ella hace. Un alojamiento muy recomendable para conocer Bilbao y alrededores, reserva del Urdaibai.

Hemos estado muy a gusto. Mucha tranquilidad y hemos recibido un trato excelente. Para repetir!

Die Anfahrt wurde wiederholt genannt, Wir haben die Map-Anbieter verglichen und die falsche Karte weggeworfen! Die Unterkunft war für uns das Highlight in diesem Urlaub. Aber zum Ort: Igorre ist Industriegebiet (muss man ja nicht hin ...)

Es una casa acogedora, limpia, bien decorada, con instalaciones modernas, y rodeada de naturaleza. Ideal para el descanso. Trato agradable y familiar por parte de su propietaria, Jone, a la que agradecemos su amabilidad y consejos para visitar Bilbao y sus alrededores. Ofrece la posibilidad de desayunar y cenar a precios económicos y con productos caseros. Fácil de localizar, si se lleva gps. Consejo: cuando se estrecha el camino, buscar a la izquierda un cartel con el nombre de loiate, subir una pequeña cuesta y ahí está la casa.

Una volta arrivati si viene accolti da una signora molto gentile. L'agriturismo è bello e le stanze sono stupende, tutte di legno, comode e pulite. La signora è un ottima cuoca e la cena costa poco, vi consiglio di provarla, poi è tutto genuino coltivato e allevato in loco, assaggiate tutto! Bilbao è vicino e anche le località di mare.

A refaire.La personne etait charmante soucieuse du bien etre de ses hotes ,mieux q un hotel bravo!!!!!

éS un lloc molt familiar I tranquil, amb un servei excel·lent. Es troba a 30 minuts de Bilbao, 40 de Vitoria I 1 hora de San Sebastian. Molt recomenable.

Poca variabilitat en els esmorzars, tot I que per 3 euros tampoc es pot demanar tant.

Trato muy familiar y amable. Instalaciones modernas. Comida casera excelente con productos de la propia huerta y a muy buen precio. Dueña muy ilustrada en las costumbres y lugares de la zona.

Ubicación un poco dificil de localizar en los últimos metros por falta de señalización.

Ha sido estupendo la estancia en Antekena, por la paz, el paisaje, el desayuno...la ubicación, pero sobre todo por la acogida maravillosa de Ione que es un sol y desde aqui le agradezco su amabilidad con nosotros, por aconsejarnos tan bien y por compartir sus viviencias y opiniones y acercarnos un poquito al estupendo Pais Vasco...gracias

Tanto la casa como la propietaria que era la que se encargaba de todo, fue excelente. Todo perfectamente limpio, ella muy atenta y amable. Ambiente familiar. La comida muy buena, la hacia ella, con productos de la casa en la medida de lo posible. Totalmente recomendable,para volver.

Excel.lent establiment de turisme rural, que ens ha permès passar deu dies de vacances a Euskal Herria en un ambient I entorns extraordinaris. L'amabilitat I l'extrema atenció de la seva propiètaria, Jone, envers els seus clients és inexplicable, s'ha de viure. Es tracta d'una casa d'estil basc en un barri pagès, una mica apartat d'Igorre, però amb accès senzill a la carretera n-240 de Bilbo a Gasteiz. Sense tenir cap luxe, ofereix als hostes tots els elements necessaris per a gaudir de l'estança. El sopar cassolà, amb productes de l'hort I la terra, val la pena demanar-l'ho.

Per a dir alguna cosa, costa una mica trobar-ho al principi. La seva propietària té una sèrie de problemes amb l'administració per publicitar l'establiment a la localitat. Un cop a Igorre s'ha d'agafar la carretera que passa pels barris de San Juan I Santa Luzia. S'ha de seguir amunt, fins trobar el desviament a Loiate. Allà hi ha un rètol innominat de casa rural, el segon és el que dóna accès a la casa, en una cruïlla a l'esquerra.
