Unhelpful staff. Malfunctioning devices in the room. Almost everything is falling apart from the doors to the shower. Not clean.
Breakfast buffet was really good.Room was clean and tidy, and also our first two nights were comfortably quite. The hotel was near to the Atocha Station, where there is all the means of transportation.
Our room was connected to the next room with a door.I think it wasn't very safe Third night very noisy guests came to the next room after midnight.Sleeping was impossible for some time. And we expected a 3 single bed room, but the third bed was an additional one,and not very comfortable.
The hotel is located on a relatiely quiet bu street just a stone throw away from the Atocha train station, the biggest transport hub in Madrid. All essential services located close by. Staff are helpful and corteus, and rooms comfortable, well kept and tidy.
Breakfast is relatively expensive, and absence of a simming pool.
I actually did nit satisfied . You paid alot snd its 4 stars No cover No cleaning And when i asked for a blancket they give old dirty looking blanket And um .. Its 10 minutes walking from renfe But you ( future madrid traveller) can get 10 minutes walking into city ehich means near to downtown like plaza mayor ..
Quite, and easy place from Atocha train station
only a few restaurants close by
5 minute walk from Aero Express bus and to Renfe station Good sized, clean rooms
The location was very near the train station making for a short easy walk to the hotel. There are art museums, gardens & nice restaurants nearby.
We'd booked a 3 bed room but they sent us to a room with a cot. Happily they remixed it when approached. The hotel restaurant was only mediocre quality food. Much better food in nearby restaurants.
Pleasant reception staff. Large room for three. Adequate comfort. Helpful to have parking on site (although extra cost).
Building looked impressive in reception but tired rooms, in need of reburbishment , particularly the bathroom. Bit of a walk to the metro station.
Perfect location near train station and Prado. Silence and calm. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Grigory, St.Petersburg, Russia
Everything was great.
It was dark in the room in the morning and uneasy to get up.
The location:conveniently located near the Park El Retiro.Easy to get to downtown Madrid (centro, Puerta del Sol, etc) either by metro or bus, or a pleasant 30-minute walk. Close to the Atocha train and bus station. Parking during night time in the street is safe and free.
Daily parking rates in parking garages are expensive (as it is in all Europe).
Bathroom Wifi Connection Late Checkin Options (staff was there late) Big sized room Cleanliness Friendly Staff
there was no balcony or some sort of outside terrace option
situation and staff
The hotel is very close to Atocha train station. The room is very clean and cozy. It also provides a cheap transportation from the hotel to the airport based on request. I will definitely choose this hotel as a stopping point before I start my next journey.
Very expensive internet and breakfast!
Excellent breakfast deal
Poor wifi reception in rooms
Very good and helpful staff, they're really nice, in special Ms. Monica Sanches. Godd location and confortable bedroom.
bed is too small. breakfast not included.
reception staff was very friendly and competent.
signs in the lobby indicate that you have to pay €6 for wifi but if you ask for the password they'll give it to you.
The bed was lovely! So comfortable and a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day. Javier, who checked us in, was very helpful and professional and the maids who came to set up a cot for our daughter were also very kind. It was also very conveniently located near the train station.
There was a bit of noise from a neighbouring room--World Cup semi-final! This may just have been a particularly noisy group, but the walls did seem a bit thin. We didn't have breakfast at he hotel, but I would have appreciated coffee-making facilities in the room.
WiFi donot work well sometime
