Fantastic location. Staff were superb. Book a room with a balcony and sea view. Excellent food.

Everything! The situation is perfect, the hotel staff are charming and friendly, the room was delightful with views across the stunning bay. Everyone seems to be relaxed and happy. We can't wait to go again.

A very good hotel in a pretty spot. Staff and food also excellent.

The room was very good with a great view of the cove. I have stayed in better 4 star rooms though.

Absolutely fabulous spot with a beautiful view over the bay. Traditional old-fashioned comforts with plenty of lounge space and outdoor facilities. Be prepared fo a short meandering drive to the other villages but you will struggle to better the location.

The location.

The food in the hotel restaurant is very expensive.

Very friendly, delicious food and plenty of choice, Beautiful location, very tranquil.

The only fault was our en suite bathroom, the toilet was in a tight corner of the bathroom and when you sat on it your knees touched the radiator other than this the room was excellent.

Excellent staff, the hotel is very clean and well run.

We thought for the quality of the meals that they were over priced.

1. steps everywhere and no lifts 2, no magnifying mirror nor drying line in bathroom 3. packet of tissues supplied inadequate in strength, number and size 4. room size - for a 4* hotel room was small

It's beauty and beach

the place of the hotel, with a little beach down stairs of the hotel, the attention of the staff, who is very professionnal

the quality of the wifi if not in the main part of the hotel there is a beach who's name is "aigua blava", and the hotel stays on a beach named "fronda", it's quiet difficult at the 1st coming.

We know the area well having holidayed in Fornells with our family for many years.The Hotel Aigua Blava is an excellent hotel with a well earned reputation,and we hope to return for further holidays

the whole experience.

The restaurant was the best we found in two weeks in Spain. Make sure to ask for Antonio.

Excelent location and a really classy hotel

Location is second to none. Family oriented and friendly. Staff create a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Our room had terrace railings that were not infant friendly - with a huge drop onto a concrete floor below.

The Hotel itself and the grounds and pool were lovely. The location, of course, is idyllic. The staff were delightful. It is a lovely place to spend a few days. Thank you all for a perfect stay.

The internet connection did not work in our room with my laptop although it did work close to the reception area. This was a small, but irritating inconvenience.

Location

Too far from the main town of Begur. Had to drive into the town. A regular shuttle bus to nearby towns would be an added bonus to visitors.

Beautiful area.

one of the most beautiful places on the costa brava coastline, and the near town of Begur is well worth a visit

Beautiful location and room had nice views of sea. Walking distance to several beaches which have stunning crystal clear waters. Fabulous breakfast and catered for gluten free (yay!). Staff very friendly and helpful. Terrace restaurant was also lovely place to sit to enjoy views.

Standard of small apartment was no where near the price charged. Some furniture was tired and in need of replacement. Kitchen equipment not sufficient to actually do any real cooking. Apartment was very noisy with an interconnecting door - we could hear every word said in apartment next door. Elephants seemed to roaming free in apartment above us. Price of food and drink if not in your package, was way too expensive for the quality offered.

The quietness, the beauty and the cleanliness. The hotel was excellent and the staff were outstanding in every way, they could not do enough for the guests. The food was of a high quality and extremely well prepared. This is a charming well run hotel with a thoroughly professional but friendly attitude. I highly recommend the Hotel Aigua Blava.

The obnoxious and condescending attitude of many of the guests. Sadly from my point of view the English were the worst offenders. I suppose it can only be expected in a hotel of this quality.

The location was amazing with wonderful views, breakfast was excellent in terms of location and substance.

The rooms are tired and in need of serious renovation. We did not stay in the main part of the hotel so I do not know if they are better. We felt a little like we were in the staff quarters at the back of the hotel.

Very unspoilt area of the Costa Brava. Relaxing and tranquil.
