I enjoyed the convenience and the home-away-from-home feeling.
beautiful and clean
no air conditioning
The apartment is near barcelona and very close to the airport. There is supermarket in walking distance. Staff very helpful and friendly
There is no A/C and it was really hot
The B&B is definitely more far from the airport than expected, it took us 20 minutes by taxi. Rooms are incredibly small. They should warn that if you arrive late in the evening you need to ask for the code in order to open the door: we were lucky we had, but we met a guy who had been waiting for more than 40 minutes before we arrived and opened the door for him.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Internet not available inside apartments (must sit in corridor)
Neighborhood feeling! Close to airport for early flight.
we thought there was laundry, we could have remembered wrong. No air conditioning. Still cost almost 20e to get to airport
near to airport, free parking. it has elevator and is a good place if you just want to stay ther for overnight. there is a huge supermarket nearby within 10 minutes' car distance.
difficult to find free parking. non convenient if you do not drive. furniture in room is a little bit simple.
First trip to Europe. Ana was very helpful. As American travelers, we did not know obvious things but Ana was very helpful and nice about it. We had a layover to catch our plane from a cruise ship, (one night). This was a perfect place for our layover, very economical for our family of 5. Although neighborhood was very cultural, we felt very safe and secure inside as well as outside walking to the town square for some shopping. It was not so much a tourist area, but that gave it a character that was very interesting. Lots of clothes on drying lines on rooftops and balconies, etc. Thank you Ana!
The beds were harder than we were used to. The coffee pot inside the room was missing inner parts to make it work so we boiled some grounds we had camping style on the stove. It worked fine for us coffee holics. Most all shopkeepers spoke very little English here.
Spacious clean apartments, friendly staff
The lady I running the apartments was an angel.
The very amicable lady who helped us with the location and public transport around the apartment. Good internet.
i supppose its not sound proof.
Great pool on top of hotell. Great location :-)
Noise from roms, Doors etc.
The lady that met me on arrival was pleasant and helpful.
It is quite close to the airport, however the taxi fare was still 20 euro. The area in which the apartments are based is poor enough. I suppose Barcelona is expensive for Spain but the accommodation was not worth anymore than I paid.
The area the hotel is located is bad , most restaurants were closed not that you would feel comfortable walking around the area . It was advertised that there was a shuttle bus available , but it was not which ended up costing is an extra 60 euros in taxis . Not very happy ,
They made sure there was someone to let us in even at 11:30 in the night.... also let us stay a bit more as they had no other guests at that time..the staff was extra friendly and we had a good chat. She showed me the map of how to reach the city in barcelona and showed me the must visit places... just loved the service .... very hard to fi d these kind of helpful accommodation.
Jus the bit that it was far from the city... but close to the airport..
It was down a back street which was barely lit. No information about facilities in area (I.e shops bars etc.) Area resembled a ghetto.Did not feel safe walking around area at night.
The owner took care of me to get there ( alternative routes from airport were provided) and also left instructions for me to check in late in the night, so getting in, after a long flight. was ok. Location seem very quiet and have near by shops and places to eat. Bus station at ~10 min. walk. OK for 1 night in transit between 2 flights.
Poor wi-fi signal. Not sure how is it when is more than 1 room sharing the bathroom and how is after 2 to 5 days.
Very roomy and comfortable.
Friendly, helpful owner. Quiet location.
The receptionist was lovely, very helpful, polite and helpful. She provided maps to stations, advice on places to eat and ways to get to the airport - really, meeting her was a great positive touch to our stay! The apartment is huge, I regretted the fact that we were only there for the night and couldn't enjoy the lovely kitchen and the terrace. Very clean bathroom, nice white towels, very pleasant. The area is ok, not far from places to eat and shop, however, a bit of a long walk from the train stations, at least it felt long with 2 suitcases and 2 kids... The taxi to the airport is around 18-20 Euros. Altogether, it provided what we wanted most - the comfort of not hopping up from the bed in the middle of the night and trying to get out of Barcelona to make it in time for our early morning flight. Great value for money.
Wi-fi didn't work. I didn't care, because we only stayed overnight, but for a longer stay it would have bothered me. I think the receptionist would have fixed that if I had had time to ask her. Bigger problem - no air conditioning. Floor (chair) fans in both bedrooms, and the chair one has seen better days, old and rattling like mad! If I had to stay longer I'd have to keep windows open, which on top floor is ok I guess but on lower ones wouldn't feel very safe. Air conditioning would have made it just perfect!
far away from the airport
Even though it says airport apartment. It is not close to the airport. But there are no hotels really close to the airport within that price range. Taxi cost 52 euro both ways. Better take a bus if you likely packed.
Closer to the station, useful to reach Barcelona.
No air conditioning in the room, in summer is very difficult to sleep.
