- A lot of space - Good location: metro at 3 mins walk, ramblas at 20 mins - ...
Akira the owner is so friendly and helpful. He offers a brilliant service - picking us up from the airport and then meeting us at the Sagrada Familla to take us back again. He could not have been friendlier or more knowledgeable about his city and was a fantastic introduction to Barcelona. The apartment is ideally situated for the Sagrada Familla - you can see it from the nearest bus stop. It is a simple apartment but clean and comfortable. We were only there one night but it was perfect.
The apartment is very spacious with a full sized kitchen. The location worked well for our family. We walked almost everywhere, but the Metro is close by. The information sent before our stay was very helpful. The Wifi was very fast unlike other apartments we stayed at on our trip. Thanks for a great stay!
The clothes dryer doesn't work well.
No one there to open place Questionably clean Wifi did not work
Good location, close to public transportation, pretty quite, excellent value for money, very nice couple of owners (Akira and his wife)
Could have been a little bit more clean, but the manager solved right away the issues.
Location is great and the apartment is spacious. Its great value for money.
Waiting outside for at least 20 minutes for someone to give us the keys to the apartment after long journey. No wifi all week.
Location was good
Noise from the metro and vibrations throughout the flat. Couch would only seat 3 people A dirty sock had been left in bathroom A half eaten choc ice was left in the freezer Second bedroom had no door and everyone had to walk through it to use the bathroom.
it's a nice place for 6 people to stay for a longer time, in a quiet area
you have to pay cleaning fee 50 euros per stay, it's in a neighbor hood with nothing to eat or go out, have to call before you arrive the flat (we did call but the lday still kept us waiting outside for 15 min or more and it was raining..), one of the bed was broken, the toilet smell really bad
3 bedrooms with plenty of space for a cot and luggage. Close to marina metro station made it easy to get to all the sites. Large supermarket very close by.
Size of the kitchen was ok for 1 cook... No one else could fit. Suitable equipment to make basis dishes. No vegie peeler.
Mr. Akira was very nice. He met us at the Airport and brought to the apartment and told everything we needed to know. The apartment is big, nice old house. Very good location, metro is 2 min walk. Wi-fi connection is good. There's a super-market near by.
1. The pictures in description represent two apartments and you never know which one you get. 2. The apartment we got was old and needed renovation. 3. Lamp didn't work, some bed-linen were old with holes, yellow spots and stink. Some were not even washed. 4. One of the beds was absolutely broken. 5. The sofa in the living room is disgusting to sit on even in clothes. It is all in spots, old and stinks. 6. The breakfast provided for 40 eur doesn't cost these money. Take something with you instead. 7. The overall price 1100+ eur for 14 days is too high for this apartment. There are a lot of better offers for this price in the city, and the apartments look more descent. 8. Definitely NOT recommended.
Location was ok. Kitchen well equipped. Large sized apartment.
We pre arranged to be collected by Akira. Upon arrival no one was there to collect us from the airport so we made our own way to the apartments. Upon arriving there we called Akira and said we were outside waiting and he said he'd send someone to open the door....it tooks over 20 minutes (standing around on the streets) before we were finally greeted by someone at the door! We were taken upto the apartment and shown around where we stood in disbelief as the beds were not made up and the yellowish duvets and pillows were very offputting. Akira came himself a few minutes later and requested full payment of the apartment (which we pointed out was previously paid on-line) - he then said he needed us to pay the cleaning fee's upfront which we did. We finally went out to see Barcelona at about 4pm and upon our arrival back to the apartment at 8pm the beds had still not been covered with sheeting and we had to complain before an old man was sent to rectify it. Awful 'dead rats' smell in the bathroom which lingered throughout the apartment. If my kids played and laughed a bit loud the neighbours would bang on the walls! Even though we paid for cleaning services under the childrens beds was filled with hair and balls of dust. Not even a small mini soap bar left in the wash room to use so be prepared to rush out for bare essentials as soon as you arrive i.e. toilet paper, soap etc. On our final day whilst we were out the cleaning lady entered our apartment and took the kettle! Upon our return we contacted Akira and explained that we needed a kettle to make noodles for our little girl prior to travelling back....his basic reply was that the cleaning lady thought we had already left and took the kettle! and brushed us off! I personally would not recommend this apartment as it is very unprofessionally run and is not what it is actually advertised to be!
It is close to Sagrada Familia and Park de la Ciutadella.
It was a little bit cold during the nights because of the heating sistem which did not function.
Location was very good, close to Sagrada Familia. Subway close by as well. Football(soccer) field beside apartment for those who like sports.
The apartment was not cleaned very good. The kitchen table was filthy and the apartment manager seemed not to care. Bread crumbs on kitchen counter, kitchen sink not secure, backsplash falling off, kettle disgusting , mold in shower, coffee pot not cleaned. No DVD player but I was told people use DVDs very little nowadays. Really? Could not get TV to work.
The flat is nice old style in old building. The man who brings the key is disponible and explain things very well.
In this moment there is road reconstuction and you will hear the noise of the road + noise of workings from 8:00 in the morning. In our case there was electricity missing for some howers couse to work in progress, acceptable. Other thing, there is no hair dryer and for as the drying machine didn't work, maybe just a case. The flat is old and maybe need some changes, but this is sbujective. My oppinion is that the cleaning fee is too high for short staying, but you will calculate it your self.
Everything was great: very good location (very close to the main attractions of the city), well equipped, spacious and clean.
Akira was very helpful in everything he can Overall, I recommend this.
Elevator is very small
