Location and quality of mattress
The noise of the rooms around. thin wall, we could hear the side rooms tv and conversation.
Not much. It was old and interesting decor, but some updating had been done that was not enough. Building is from 1908.
Room too small, staff unwilling to give us another room. This room was more like a storage closet.
Beautiful little hotel located in Jerez! So comfortable with air conditioning and friendly accommodating staff!
Excelent situation Relation price / quality Personnel Air conditioned Honest / good breakfast
Window blackout could be better
Location near to the old town. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Helpful staff (though some didn't speak English)
good location clean beautiful interiors
loud pipes when neighbors take shower
The staff were great. Very helpful and really friendly. My room was gorgeous. Very quiet and back from the street and overlooking a lovely courtyard.
*Location was central. *All the staff were really good and wanted to help despite not speaking english (except the russian girl) she spoke fair english * generally quiet in the area which is good * easy check in and check out process * gorgeous deco
* the plumbing. Our drain smelt and each time someone used the hot water it would thud in our room (top floor) * no bar fridge or kettle
The staff were unfailingly helpful, the building is beautiful, the location is near the center, and walkable (with a backpack) from the train and bus stations.
The wi-fi did not reach my room at the back. I had to sit in the lovely courtyard to use it.
Excellent location , staff happy and helpfull , clean comfy and quiet ,,, don't really want to put negatives cos we had such a good time ,,,,, but !!!!
No tea and coffee , not much hanging space and no draws !
Al Andalus was a great place to stay. Great location where we could walk to anywhere in the city and friendly staff.
Our bathroom seemed to have a slight smell to it.
Grande cama, tan limpio, y recepcionistas simpáticas.
Holor de vasos son malos.
I'm frm nz. This was the best out of the 4 hostel/hotels I've stayed in so far on this trip. Excellent value for money - rooms basic of course but with everything needed. What was exceptional though was the fantastic service from the dark haired Russian receptionist who was delightful & made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. She is a great asset to this hotel.
Staff very friendly, very helpfull .My room was clean every day. Good value for your money Ik like the andalusie style of the hotel.
The outside of the building doesn't look good that gives you a wrong impression of the hotel.
lovely place!!! the traditional patio is very beautiful, the colors, the paintings, the tiles make you feel you are really in andalusia..
Lovely setting, central but in a quiet location. Very pretty patios, though too cool to enjoy in March
Unfortunately, the big disappointment was having to take a cold shower because the water wasn't hot.
Some members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is both quiet and fairly central
The floor seemed dirty after 'cleaning'. Faulty wastepaper basket in bathroom (lid broken). Water in shower took a long time to get hot. A lot of water wasted this way. The decorative headpost of the bed is loose and knocks against the wall unless you place a towel or similar between the iron and the wall - which I did after the first night.
The staff team are so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is perfectly situated a short walk from the train/bus station and from the centre of town, it is moreover beautifully decorated in the Andalusian style - tiles and courtyards. We had a great stay during the flamenco festival!
+ building and patio, + young receptionist (girl) was very helpful and spoke english + one receptionist lent us an umbrella if we need it
- most receptionists doesn´t spoke english - internet access was slow and unstable - twice they returned our towels dirty back without change when we put them on the floor - in the shower was temperature of water still unstable and you are not able to correct it
Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel in a typical Andalucian old building plus pet friendly.
attractive hotel, good location very close to centre of town and good value.
Layout of hotel, helpful friendly staff, quiet and great location between train and bus stations and historic centre
room smelt a little smoky, no coffee/tea or other facilities in beautiful patio areas (it would have been nice to have been able to have a glass of wine or breakfast or something)
The building is a beautiful renovated old Andalusian house. Staff are very friendly and location is very convenient.
The hotel is located in the walking distance from the train station. You can also walk from the hotel to most of Jerez's monuments.
Only one guy at the front desk spoke english. The door to the bathroom (exactly vis-a-vis the toilet bowl) were almost transparent.
