Helpful staff who spoke English.

Has parking, but entrance too steep. Nice view on port, hotel is easy to find, rooms are of good size, but smells. Something wrong with canalization maybe, but that isn't disaster.

This hotel is near the ferry port. The room was spacious.

The room was old and not enough clean.

Security and cleanliness are fine, which in most circumstances is all one needs.

Very disappointing. There was a terrible odour throughout the hotel. The restaurant was appalling. Wifi is as good as non existent. What you pay for is what you get. However, I could not recommend this hotel unless you cannot find any other.

Location very noisy surrounded by street sellers wanting to hassle you. Hotel is very outdated and was not worth the money.

Old hotel in a very convenient location close to port, bus, train and shops. Some facilities did not work. Electricity short circuited once. My room was clean and had a great view of the port. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices, and unlimited coffee.

I was disappointed that they had a computer available for guest use, but I could not figure out how to turn on the light in the room, nor did I feel like going to the desk to ask for the password. The TV didn't work, either.

The location was good, close to bus, train and ferry stations. You can walk to all of them in 10 minutes.

The rooms were disgusting. 100s of ants crawling around in our first room, so we got moved to another. The second had black mold growing on the walls. People were yelling and screaming, banging doors till 5 in the morning. Very bad sleep!!

We used Algeciras as a transit point to Granada from Morocco, and climbed Gibraltar.
