Located only 270 yards from the center of Algeciras, and in front of the port, this practical and clean hotel is ideal for those traveling to or from Morocco or business visitors. It is also just 12.4 miles from Tarifa.

Al Mar has spacious and well-equipped rooms, where you can relax at the end of a long days sightseeing or business. Freshen up in your private bathroom, or watch TV.

Head down to the hotels restaurant, El Navío, for your evening meal, where you can enjoy a 2-course meal and views over the bay. Alternatively, you can grab a buffet-style meal from Buffet Bahía, situated on the second floor of the hotel.

There was a terrible odour throughout the hotel. The restaurant was appalling. Wifi is as good as non existent. What you pay for is what you get. On a very busy main road so was noisy throughout the night as we had to have the window open. Staff were helpful. Should have given a reduction of cost for broken air con. Didn't like the fact the Air conditioning was not working and had been broken for some time so we had to leave the window wide open all night for air. Abendessen als Buffet,aufgrund geringer Belegung sehr beschränkt.Lage direkt am Fracht- und Fährhafen,wir hätten uns vorher besser informieren sollen.Nachts sehr laut,wer nur bei offenem Fenster schlafen will, sollte das Al Mar nicht zu seinen Favoriten zählen.Es gibt aber eine Klimaanlage und bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man nichts!
