In an attractive 17th-century building, the Hotel Los Seises by Fontecruz is just 500 ft from Sevilla Cathedral. It features a rooftop pool and terrace with spectacular views of the Giralda.
Score from 732 reviews Very good
Built around a courtyard, this luxurious hotel is in a restored 19th-century mansion beside Seville Cathedral in the Santa Cruz district.

Hotel Don Paco is set in central Seville, a 10 minute walk from the cathedral and Giralda Tower. It features a rooftop swimming pool and sun terrace with excellent city views.
Score from 2008 reviews Very good
The staff was very helpful, Valdimir and Alecia were especially helpful
great location, stylish (yet a bit old) rooms, the staff was generally pleasant and willing to help.
the room we were given initially (i think it was called "Almeira") did not have a window, and was by far worse than the other 6 rooms in the same category. after complaining again and again, we were eventually moved to a different room, but only after spending the first night in the stifling "Almeira" room. it would be more decent for the hotel to offer this room in a separate category of its own...
Lovely staff, quaint decor, perfect location.
Location and staff; great bathroom
Street noise; poor reading light
location was excellent in spite of the problems with accommodation of car storage attempted to be helpful with resolving problems with reservation
well meaning staff were not proficient in English and could not fully assist. room requested was not available and assigned room was not accessible by elevator down a long corridor with stairs quiet room was very noisy overlooking a back street
We will certainly stay here again. Friendly staff, great location, excellent food and comfortable room in a beautiful hotel. We went for the tasting menu. Every course was exquisite. It is a short stroll to the old town and the many tapas bars.
A big bonus for us was that there was a car parking facility. Staff parked the car and returned it to us allowing us to leave the car after we had checked out until we needed it.
Very pleasant and helpful staff
We weren't too impressed with the food! Apple strudel was a wafer thin slice of apple between two thick pieces of pastry and a cheese tart was melted cheese. Croissants weren't good either.
Suite was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Staff was accommodating. Facilities were absolutely lovely. Breakfasts were delicious and attentively served.
King bed squeezed into a space that was barely big enough, but I still prefer the king bed to a smaller one.
The reception staff was excellent and friendly. The decor was beautiful and authentic.Location good.
The dining staff was inefficient and inexperienced. The breakfast was limited but tasty. The dinner was just average and service fair.(In the Bistro).
The decor, the location, the ambience, the staff . proper Spain
the breakfast - no eggs garage location is a bit of a hassle
We like the old Spanish room hotel, Location is great close to cathedral and bull ring, good service very helpful.
Bed is firm...bed bugs..that 's the problem.
Located nearby the cathedral, it's steps away from the action. Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant. Great jetted bathtub almost made up for not having water for 5.5hrs upon arrival.
Not having water (or any explanation, initially) for 5.5hrs the night I arrived. I only found this out when I turned on the water (no message or alert), then a weak apology and a fib regarding when it would be fixed. Horrible wi-fi kept kicking me off. Several mechanical issues noted as well. If you attend the excellent restaurant, make SURE you review your receipt as I was charged for 5 glasses of wine instead of 3.
Loved the building it was beautiful, felt like you were staying at Nonas house, very authentic. Staff were lovely, location was absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
Not enough information about how the breakfast buffet worked as the staff hovered in front so we weren't sure whether to wait to be served or to go up and ask for what we wanted. Wifi dropped in and out constantly which for us was frustrating as we were planning our trip as we went so purposely selected accommodation that offered wifi so we could continue planning. Wouldn't have bothered us other than for that reason,
We chose the hotel largely because of the probable high quality of its cooking given its status as a catering school. To an extent we were disappointed here for our half board accommodation gave us access to the ground floor bistro rather than the first floor high class (and expensive) restaurant. Breakfast was good but supper was far from outstanding. There are few rooms - on the second floor - but they are well equipped and pleasantly idiosyncratic. The hotel has its own car park - and I was grateful that the hotel management did the parking for access was not straightforward! - and this was indispensable for parking would otherwise have been a nightmare. The location of the hotel is excellent and reception was helpful and welcoming.
Nothing to add -see above
Difficult to find, traffic very intense.
Small, cosy hotel. Friendly staff. Large and comfortable room.
The room, and the boutique quality of a small inn. The breakfast is great, but particularly the fresh orange juice and service. Friendly, helpful service by all one encountered. If we go back to Seville this is where we would stay.
There were no negatives.
We thought the location was perfect for sightseeing. The hotel was very clean, with exceptionally obliging staff. The meals were excellent, and the bedroom very comfortable, of a good size and quiet.
Nothing to bother mentioning.
Well placed for visiting main Seville sights. Hotel will park your car, well worth it. Rooms quite basic, quite dark, would not want to spend much time there. Had lunch in hotel which was very nice.
Breakfast very basic. Rooms quite basic.
The hotel looks impressive. The staff were very friendly.
The staff were disoganised and the breakfast was just ok. Our room was adapted for the disabled so the shower was like a wet room. It needed an extra clean as the grout between the tiles had black on them. One day I think the bathroom had not been cleaned as the towels were just left in a mess, but the bed had been made. Although there was nothing really bad about the Hotel, compared to the 3 star Hotel we stayed in in Granada the 4 hignts before it lacked something.
We had a lovely stay for one evening on our travels across Spain. Staff were excellent. The Hotel was situated in a prime location.Very much enjoyed the meal we had cooked and served by the cookery students. We would choose to stay again if travelling to that area again.
location, lunch time restaurant, rooms, building, helpful staff
The service provided by this hotel is exemplary. After our hire car broke down in the middle of Seville, the Alabardero sent out someone on foot to meet us. When we arrived at the hotel, two members of staff kindly spent over two hours on the phone speaking with an awkward Spanish car hire company on our behalf. All the staff at this hotel are friendly and professional. The hotel itself is classy with stylish and comfortable rooms. You will not find a better hotel for the money. We look forward to returning.
the staff - the intimity
