This carefully restored building dates from the 18th century and lies in the most historic district of Ronda, surrounded by ancient monuments.

Location, helpful staff and the terrace. The garden is stunning even in autumn. Parking is free.
No choice of eggs for breakfast
there is a horse stud just outside of the hotel - most windows overlook it. it borders with the lovely swimming pool as well. if you mind the horses' smell, it might be a problem...
The uphill trek to the centre of Ronda is truly outweighed by gorgeous location at the bottom of a hill and by the Arabian baths. Great place - thoroughly recommended
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location next to the Arab Baths was atmospheric. The décor was totally in keeping with the Moorish theme. Views from the room were stunning. Breakfast was amazing and sitting out in the garden in October an added bonus.
We liked the set up of this place--smaller rooms and larger communal area with books, gardens, and comfortable furniture. There was an honor bar with wine, beer and other drinks and snacks available for self serve. The friendly staff were helpful with recommendations. We appreciated the location out of the city center, close to the Arab baths, with views up into Ronda, views of country side from our room window, a wonderful breakfast, and the stars and quiet at night. Parking was close and easy as well.
We could hear some American guests arguing in their room--though I don't think we can blame the hosts for that issue!
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. At night there was an honesty bar which was a nice touch. The outside patio area was very pretty and looked out over the fields. I wished we could have stayed a bit longer.
The steep climb up to the town.
Nice location really quiet, good breakfast and nice terrasse
Bed too hard
From arriving to departure the staff at this hotel were excellent. The room was well decorated and the view over the paddock and pool was great. Quiet in the evening meant for a good nights sleep. Comfortable lounge and a well stocked honesty bar. Tapas in Ronda is excellent, ask the staff for their recommendations, we did and they were right.
It is a bit of walk up to the town, but don't let that put you off.
We had a wonderful large room with terrace, some of theother rooms were small. The hotel is very comfortable, staff friendly, and helpful, a very tranquil place. Wonderful breakfast and great location with a charming garden.
Decor and garden were beautifully thought out and location was good
Room and bathroom were tiny and I am not on the large side either. Would have been more relaxing if eg sunbed cushions were out and more info on drink etc as it was sometimes difficult to find a member of staff and if I did the service was slow as they were looking after reception aswell.
Rooms were individually decorated - atmospheric and comfortable. Really loved the outdoor space - beautiful terrace and gardens for drinks / breakfast (breakfast was also divine) and pool was a lovely place to relax and catch some sun after a day of sight-seeing. I would stay here again. Staff were also friendly, without being over-bearing or too formal.
Morroccon flavour in furnishings and decoration, all in an historic building.
Nice welcoming. Interiors and garden very well designed. Pleasure place for relax.
The breakfast was excellent and the garden and pool área well kept. The sitting áreas were comfortable and quaint.
Small bedroom and very small bathroom. No air-conditioning in bedroom. Long steep hill to get into town.
Just far out of town enough to be quiet & look out on horses & goats, but very few flies considering this. But a stones throw from an old bridge, & steps to town. A well structured garden full of scent to have breakfast or relax in or swim. Friendly helpful staff.
Small rooms except for the main sitting area
Perfect located and beautiful hotel direct below the wall of the old city center. Nice garden with pool. Good breakfast.
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and easily go above and beyond. A all round fantastic place especially if you are looking for a peaceful rest. Rooms unique and clean. Gardens and pool tranquil. Lovely stay will be back.
Location, view, rooms, breakfast,
Wish we stayed for more than one night.
Beautiful gardens to relax in after sightseeing !!
Charming hotel, very genial host, very relaxing, good location
Rooms a little too hot - no air con and having the window open made it quite noisy
excelent. very nice and special place
The hotel is located just next to sightseeing object Arab Public Baths, and has a free parking, what you can't find near most of the hotels up the hill! The hotel has only one star, but in reality it is better than 3-4 star hotels in Ronda. The garden, pool and breakfast is superb! Swimming and watching horses makes you feel like in nature park. Wi-Fi is very fast and staff is very friendly, speaks perfect English! If the window is open, you can hear horses, dogs, but when it is closed - silence. For us it was perfect to leave the car near the hotel, climb up to the city (maybe 150 meters to go), have a good tapas and drinks in upper restaurants and then to come back down to small nature paradise. Our room had no TV and no AC (we had fan on ceiling), but for as it was a benefit as it made us feel as in countryside and opening a window was far more better than if we would have AC, as due to location and relief, temperature in the night makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!
Shower is very narrow, so shower curtain may stick to you while taking a shower.
The hotel is beatiful and the breakfasts and facilities are welcoming. We really oved the welcome and the relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is situated in the Old town and the swimming pool a real bonus to relax. If you have not visited Ronda this is a hotel you will enjoy. Christian and Miriam were welcoming and we will certinly return.
Ideal location , lovely hotel and very friendly helpful staff
The hotel is an old building located on the outskirts of the old town next to the Arab Baths and overlooking horse paddocks and countryside. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the New Bridge but very steep climb. Comfortable and characterful traditional hotel with very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast taken on the patio overlooking the countryside. Liked the small swimming pool. Free parking next to hotel. Good bar/restaurant closeby. The pros definitely outweigh the cons with this hotel.
Difficult to find but worth it. Climb up the hill was a bit strenuous on hot days. Our room and bathroom were on the small side but adequate.
