Hotel Alay  

Near to every thing beach bars marina

Pity we were not given more info about services and fact we could use pool in alay apartments as the pool in hotel was 2m sl round no shallow end and only found out on our last night they had a pool we could have used in the apartments and that our door card would allow us entry

Kind and helpful staff, if you need anything in the room they will provide it. Excellent and copious breakfast. Cheap car rental possibility at the hotel. Sound-proof and spacy room, effective air- conditioning. Clean pools, with wide space to sunbath. Location very good: near-by beach, bus stop, shops.

The hotel building and furniture is relatively old, needs a major refurbish to be a 4 star hotel (in current condition it's a nice 3 star place). It´s not the best deal what they offer for city trip and other activities, they only promote the small town events (eg. At the time it was the Feria de Malaga, a one week fest, with plenty social events, bullfights with renowned toreadors, etc., and couldn't find any info about this at the hotel). Internet very poor: wifi for charge, wired internet very expensive (6euro/hour) and isn't working well. One of the maids was lazy and sloppy.

Hotel had nice location & rooms were cumfortable

No entertainment on in the evenings

Excellent size room and bathroom with good views from the higher floors

The decor is rather dated

Fantastic location, very comfortable, nothing to much trouble for staff,appetising menu.

The breakfasts were very good and served right up to 10;30am and the location of the hotel in close proximity to the Puerto Marina was excellent

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and I feel that this was the hotels strongest point.

Room needed updating. Childrens room had broken shower, table, writing on the wallpaper. The pool by the poolbar was small but quiet. Poor for a 4 star and breakfast wasn't good. Worst thing was the derelict view of a hotel next door. Worst view ever. Would not stay here again

I thought staff on reception could smile at guests to make one feel welcomeon check-in. My friends stayed in alay apartments and staff there were exceptionally pleasant and helpful

Loved every minute of staying here,the location couldn't be better lovely view of the beach and the marina

Staff are friendly and helpful the first thing that hit us was the cleanliness of the hotel. Brilliant location for the Marina and the restaurants pubs and clubs. We will definately be visiting this hotel again
