Score from 654 reviews Wonderful
Comfort, cleanliness and the convenience of the bath.
WiFi not always available in sleeping area.
I like the hostel's personal service they helped to call taxi and gives good informations with sightseeing spots + restaurants and most important part is it got good hygiene. There are enough of activites in hostel as bonus.
My only opinion was weak Wifi.
the no wifi in bedroom
It has a washing machine
I know it's a youth hostel, but didn't really anticipate that a group of 30 kids (15yr olds I'd guess) would arrive and then spend every evening till 2 am running around and chatting loudly. There was no control from their teachers or from the hostel staff. I stayed for two weeks and this happened on both weeks with different groups of kids
Everything was perfect
Wifi isn't good in the second floor.
basic breakfast, info from the stuff
The lounge was nice, with a tv, stereo books and games etc. Good internet, except it didn´t work in the rooms.
The beds are pretty awful
people. each shower foe each room.
The Albergue is a great option for spending 1/2 days in Madrid. It's well located, you can walk to any major sight/spot. Free coffee/tea in reception.
We had to make our own bed. Parking is 0,5km away.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, a short walk from C/ Fuencarral. Very clean and comfortable enough rooms.
WiFi worked fine in the common rooms but in our bedroom the connection was basically useless.
The hostel is situated in a really nice area basically on Sagasta St, close to the metro stations (Bilbao, Alonso Martinez). The breakfast was pretty much satisfying; each room had its own bathroom. The staff was 100% kind and helpful as well! Would love to stay there next time again.
The wifi was a bit slow in the whole hostel except for the common area on the 3rd floor.
It was my first time in Spain and I came to work in Talamanca and the 3 times I wasn't working I came to stay in AJ. The staff was great and the facility itself was clean and comfortable.
The wifi was the only thing that could use improvement. I couldn't stay in my room to work on my laptop or phone because the wifi wouldn't work there.
For our family, having just completed the Pilgrimage to Santiago, this albergue was a delightful, friendly, familiar place to stay during our one day in Madrid before returning home.
Breakfast was a bit odd (delays in coffee, milk ran out). But the albergue was terrific.
Superb place. We enjoyed are stay alot. big rooms, big bathrooms, very nice atmosphere, common room with a pool table, dvd, tv, staff is friendly, location is cool
The hostel was very clean and spacious and really cheap for a nights stay. Well connected by metro to the centre (Sol). I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is very cool and helpful.
Great location!!!!! It's near to the station, the bus stop, restaurants and everything. Room is tidy and clean. Great choice for young travelers.
A bit swinging of Wifi signals.
-Cleanliness and location
- There is no kitchen/fridge, you can't eat/drink inside the hostel, you have to pay for towels, hostel was not so lively as others I've been.
The Italian guy at reception was really kind. The breakfast is very abundant and good quality. Rooms are fine and everything is very organized.
Big extra size bed. Small but clean kitchen. Nice location. Friendly staff. 한국사람도 많고 한국분들을에게 주로 1층침대를 주는것 같더라고요.^^
Bed sheet is clean but I could feel lots of dust. Breakfast is €4. So most of people go out to have breakfast. Wifi is only working in social room.
The building and the rooms are very nice. Excellent position. Nice breakfast.
Wifi was not working in the rooms-you can use it only in the hallways and in the common room. It would also be nice if the cafeteria could be used any time of the day just to store your food because it was only open in the morning from 7to10.
Lockers, Wifi, Clean, Close to city center.
Feels like a hospital, not sociable, no kitchen access, wifi doesn't reach everywhere.
The only problem was the water going everywhere after someone takes a shower.
the hostel is very modern -and all details are thought over: each vad has its one charging place, lamp - everyone has its one electronic card and locjer with hangers and shelves. Also each room for 6 people has its one bathroom divided so that one can use toilet one do washing and ione - have a shower - simultaneously! We also liked that in the morning they take you o go to Madrid free walking tour - also a must see) Breakfast is not bed, everything is clear) I have seen billard - it is also cool))
Wi-Fi is not 100% stable in rooms - but thre is also computer zone on 3d floorwith free computers - that is good))
