breakfast for sure with types Hams and 2 types cheese.ofcos with bread and cereals and coffee juices.
10 beds in a regular doube bed room is too squeezy.i dont know other hostel as i not been to hostel bunk beds for more than 20yrs. Luckily my 3 days stays were just total 3 persons in room, still 2 persons hang their clothes everywhere so the room seemed already Full house. cannot imagine if 8 to 10 people in one single regular room.
The staff were extremely helpful, informative and courteous, in particular Phillipè. The location was perfect to explore Barcelona, and very close to all travel links. The rooms were clean with good facilities. Best of all for a family or group of people the price was superb and included breakfast, which was great to start the day.
Good price and good bereakfast Fast check in and check out helpfull staff
fery smelly showerroom
Clean, organized, good breakfast and clean.
Like child hostel
The hostel is clean and the dormitory in which we stayed with 8 beds had two bathrooms directly inside the room, which meant no walking in corridors for reaching the shower. Nice breakfast, free computers with internet.
The staff at the reception was not very friendly, although they did their job checking us in and out.
very good breakfast good kitchen has four computers to use in the hall in the room has a toilet and a bathroom
wi-fi only downstairs in the hall far from metro
reasonable 24h reception
WLAN just in the lobby
the quality of breakfast is good the hostel is very clean the staff are so kind the geographic place is statagique
good breakfast, clean rooms, computer access. good location. Staff very polite and eager to help.
I think price £ 70 per a night even in single room in a hostel is to dear.No TV and coffee making facilities in the room.
There is a baggage room in the hostel. Breakfast was nice and it was the cheapest hostel
Food is too expensive.
Large private terrace attached to balcony (at least 12m²), which was unexpected, with chairs and a table. That was a very nice surprise.
everything was fine, but not the staff (the male ones)
strange stuff, not really nice or helpful. and I lived in BCN. The people there are normally cool to tourists.
extra fees for parking and towels. bed linen given at recetion.
Helpful staffs, spacious, big locker.
The security of the hostel as the hostel is big, lots of people in and out. As such, a theif came to the hostel common area grabbing my rucksack and ran.
Highest quality hostel so far in Barcelona what comes to interior.
No WI-FI in upper floors. Only randomly could connect in 1 floor but basicly it was only available at lobby on -1 floor. Air-condition equipment should be more powerful for 8 bed dorms and larger.
I were going to the airport early, and it's only 15 minuts walk from the train station, Barcelona Sants, with train directly to the airport. I arrived late, but they have a 24hour reception, and I were welcomed with a smile!
They only have wifi in the downstairs-area, but plenty of chairs and tables, and an outdoor area to spend the needed time contected to internet.
The kids enjoyed the experience
I like the attitude of the receptionists, they are very nice and helpful to tourists. Also, the breakfast was fantastic
I didn't like the fact that there was no wifi internet in the rooms and one had to come to the basement for wifi internet
I like location, new stuffs
I LIKED PERSONAL'S ATTITUDE .
It is new and clean, close to Sants and Sala Bikini club.
If you have problem to book it through internet, you will pay more money at the desk, so it is better to book it here. Breakfast and check-out is only until 10 am. It is far from center, but close to Sants and some universities. In center you can find cheaper hostels with same services.
It is easy to reach the hostel by underground (Maria Cristina Station - less than 10 min), tram or bus (3 min). You can also buy some clothes at Prada in the way... The surroundings seems to be safe at night: we ate "tapas" twice at night at Piscolabs, in the way from the station (very nice food, 60 euros for the family). The staff is very helpful and we got an "upgrade" (from 4 to 8 beds, no extra costs). The bunk beds are comfortable and the bed linen was clean. The shower is perfect if you keep pressing it every 2 minutes (!!). All the doors (room and locker) were safe.
We are used to hostels, but the breakfast was below the mean: the bread, pastries, chocolate and cereals were terrible; the ham was eatable just for the first day; no fruits; only the coffee and juice were ok; therefore, bring your own bread, fruits and ham ("Hamon Serrano") from Mercado de la Boqueria at Las Hamblas!!). We stayed for 4 nights; in one of them, a guest made so much noise that he was shot out in the morning; at other night there was some noise at the corridors... However, I would certainly stay there my next time in Barcelona.
The hostel was nicer than I expected it to be. Staff was very friendly at any hour of the day, facilities in both common area and room were clean. Although not particularly close to any tourist sites, it was close enough and also located in a good area. Easy access to all metro lines as well.
The breakfast was the same every day. If you are only staying for a few days then it is pretty good. If you are staying for longer, it gets boring and disappointing very quickly. I stayed for a week and was already bored after two days. The food itself was of good quality, however.
