Hotel Albero  

The hotel was much better than we expected. Rooms very clean and comfy. Amazing value for money.

No tea/coffee making.

The staff went out of their way to make you welcome and ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is out of town although it is close to a regular bus service.

The Hotel booked for us in advance a reservation in alhambra palace. (Although it was a holiday peak season) (Nasrid palace: something you should not miss). The rooms are simple and well-equipped. Good free Wi- Fi connection.

One more thing that really annoyed us and disappointed us: How come does a Hotel/Hostel recruit someone who does not speak English??!! I understand that in Spain, that not many people are interested in learning a foreign language, but there should be at least someone at the hotel reception who speaks English. Again, we arrived late, and we were received by a man who hardly speaks 10 words in English. This made me disappointed! The next morning, we found a man, he spoke fluent English! Come on! Don't expect everyone coming to Spain for few days to communicate in Spanish !!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. One gentleman spoke good English and helped us a lot. Hoel is near bus stop for trip to Alhambra, and another stop for traveling into the city.

So close to the Alhabrma and on lovely safe area. The managers were helpful, caring and kind. Very quiet area and street parking possible outside hotel. The proprietors had access to attraction and tour tickets. Breakfast standard fare for this part of the world.

Staff was so very nice and helpful. The room was good, and we slept really well. Also travelling with a car is always a burden to park, but the free parking and all the buses passing by made our life easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the future.

Budget friendly hotel and extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was good and again extremely cheap. Location is good as the bus stop at the end of the street has regular buses to the Alhambra. It was also very clean and well kept.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was very clean and the rooms were a nice size. Great value for the price!

The location is terrible. It´s a 20 min bus ride or an hour walk to the town center. Although it´s close to the Alhambra, it´s about a 30 min walk uphill to get there.

Room is clean, beds are comfortable

Excellent bathroom and very good heating (if needed). Good strong wifi in the rooms. Location to Ahlambra is very good.

The hotel was relatively new so it is disappointing that they invested so little in sound-proofing the rooms. The windows have 2 x double glazing, but the internal walls are just cardboard. What's the point of that? You can hear every possible noise from the guests in the next room. Location to Ahlambra is good, but to the rest of the town is not so good. Not much is within walking distance.

Very helpful receptionist. his name is Pepe.He speaks good English and he is very approachable.I was really amazed with my room. I paid 24 euros in a ery spacious, clean and well eqiped room. The bathroom was stunning considering the price I paid. Overall I will definitely stay there again when Iam in Granda.The only thing you have to aware of is that the fact that the hotel itself is not technically in Granada but you can easily reach Granda centre in 20 minutes on bus number 33 which stops just a few steps from the hotel

The location was great for visiting the Alhambra. The hotel personal got Alhambra tickets in advance for us, with a palace visit at 11am. The garage parking, for 5 Euros per night, was very handy.

It snowed the day before we got there.

The alhambra and the mirador of San Nicolas was fantastic but as a city I prefer Sevilla.

The hotel was quite far from the centre we had to get a bus and it was very basic, but it´s cheap so good value for money.

It's an ideal hotel for Skiing as it leads straight to the Sierra Nevada Road. It is also very easy to find and has free parking outside the hotel. You need to get a bus or taxi into Granada to go out but you save on the car parking and don't have to drag your bags around the city trying to find your hotel! Excellent value and the manager is really helpful and friendly.

Great value for money, excellent location Simple and basic but extremely good value for money. Perfect for a short stay. The friendliness of the staff is worth mentioning. We travelled with a baby and were given all the assistance we needed, unasked for at times. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. An ideal budget hotel for Alhambra. Definitely recommended.

There is free parking on the street and the Alhambra, City and Sierra Nevada are easy to reach from here. The staff is very friendly and understands some English. Breakfast is simple but good for the price. Water was very warm and there was Internet.

The walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbors sometimes. The room was small and the safe was not working. You don't have a great view from the window and there is not much sunshine coming in.

Easy to find, free parking outside, immaculate and comfortable. Nice family run hotel. Only 20 min stroll to centre of Granada and 25 mins to ski resort.

Possible ideas for the room, there was no full length mirror or drawers for clothes, English speaking TV channel would have been good, even if it was just a news channel. The walls were quite thin, so slightly noisy so ear plugs helpful.

The hotel manager and all staff were very friendly and welcoming during my brief stay and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and perfect for a good rest and sleep after spending the day in town and roundabouts.

It was generally quiet at night and quite clean and well run.

For some it might be a bit inconvenient as it was outside the centre of Granada. For me it was not a problem.

The Hotel Albero was excellent value for money and convenient for visiting the Alhamra. Good proximity to the bus stops. Staff were very pleasant and most helpful.

Minor thing - no lift for suitcases

Our favourite accommodation in Spain. All the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Rooms are comfortable, clean and not far from Alhumbra and city centre.
