|Conveniently located in Plaza Nueva Square, where the bus leaves for the Alhambra above, is Estudio Plaza Nueva. This bright, modern studio features free WiFi and a balcony with views of the Alhambra....||
Situated 10 minutes’ walk from Granada Cathedral and the centre, Hotel Urban Dream Granada offers modern rooms with free WiFi access. It also features a gym and a 24-hour snack bar.
Score from 7 reviews Very good

Set on a Nasri-period building from the XV Century, El Granado is on a small street in the center of Granada, just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral. A buffet breakfast and free Wi-Fi are available.
Score from 294 reviews Wonderful
Got us tickets to the alhambra. For that alone well with it. Breakfast was delicious and well priced. Facilities extremely clean and very nice for the price.
Location a bit far from downtown area.
This was a great little hotel where the proprietors clearly make every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We received a warm and informative welcome, and found free on street parking. We did not partake of the little breakfast offering but did enjoy morning coffee delivered to our room at our request. The small breakfast room looked pleasant, as we're the room and common spaces. There are a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. After checking out and traveling on I received an email that i had forgotten a pair of boots in the room. Pepe offered to overnight ship them to our next location and I received them the next day...much appreciated! This was a great value and we would stay here again.
There is a large construction project nearby, therefore noise and dust were prevalent, but did not really hamper our enjoyment of our stay.
The owner on reception very friendly and helpful, great parking. Spotlessly Clean rooms. Big plus is it is just off the highway so no need to travel through the city. Restaurant very close was amazing - Albanta Restaurante & pub. About a 3 min walk from the hotel. The food was awesome.
Easy access with car, parking around the building
Far away from the centre (not within walking distance)
Very convenient for getting to the Alhambra. The hotel is outside the downtown area of Granada but the SN1 bus is close by and takes you to downtown in only a few stops. Much better than driving into Granada which is a nightmare of one way streets. Friendly staff, good continental breakfast for 3.80 euros. Street parking was busy so we could park in the hotel garage. Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.
A fridge or a kettle in the room would be nice but that doesn't seem too common in Spain.
This is a clean hotel, i strongly recommend if you have private car because it have free parking car outside. Good signal of Internet.
I dont have car and I did not check well before i go to Granada, i made a big mistake to book this hotel because it have no service around there, 3.5 km far from city center. There is no ATM or bar. The only way to go to city center is taking bus and it take long time at the weekend. I booked a double bed but they gave me 2 twin beds and join them together, I dont feel well with that. I almost lose my buss to return madrid because the woman in the hotel told me it takes 25 minutes to the Granada bus station, but as a mater of fact it takes 45 minutes. Please be care with transportation.
clean room, room was attractive and had modern amenities but a sense of older character, comfortable, staff very nice, simple and easy stay
Located in a building that had other closed businesses and next to some construction. Construction wasn't disruptive to our sleep, but it did affect the free on-street parking, so we had to pay to park in the garage, but it was only 5 euros for the night. Not really an option for a pleasant walk anywhere as it sits off of a rotary and near some intersections, but it was a very quick drive to amenities and sights.
Breakfast extra but worth it! Hot croissant, hot fresh toasted roll, tea/coffee and fruit juice, savoury and sweet small spreading punnets, all vg. Staff were fantastic, and place was spotless.
Dont presume you will get off street parking. Both days we were there, there were no spaces, but there is excellent secure parking for 5 euros per day.
Staff was very helpful. Close to Alhambra and staff was able to help with tickets. Restaurant less than 2 blocks away. Very good value for the money.
Did not try the breakfast but looked like good selection.
Professional, helpful proprietor. Free parking on street. Good price for breakfast
Long walk into old city
We were given really helpful information about how to get into the City and the Alambra Palace.
We didn't arrive until 2 p.m. and despite a check in time of 12 noon, our room wasn't ready however it was soon remedied and a reasonable explanation given (people had been smoking in the room they were going to give us so didn't want to put us in there). It would have been a bit of a problem had we arrived at 12 oclock.
The room is nice with comfortable bed. Staffs are extremely nice and helpful.
Good location, only 3 minutes drive to Alhambra and near the bus station to the city centre. The staff was really friendly giving us the map and detailed information on which sights to visit and how to reach the centre by bus. Very good breakfast. Nice and clean room with big bathroom. We also liked the decoration and photos on the hallway. Private parking available, but there is also free public parking in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay in Albero again.
Staff could not be more helpful. They managed to book tickets to Alhambra for the following day despite none being online. They provided excellent advise on getting around using the local buses. And finally, they allowed me to use their computer to check in and print out boarding passes. We were able to park behind the hotel without using the hotel car park.
Noise seems to travel between rooms and the rooms are slightly on the small size.
Friendly staff with a great sense of service. Was given a free breakfast because people were noisy in the next door room.
Typical all stone construction amplified noise from adjacent rooms.
Pepe (the Proprietor) and his daughter at Hotel Albero have made our stay in Granada exceptional! They never tire of providing detailed information about Granada, the Alhambra along with transportation around the area. Pepe was kind enough to even drive us to the Alhambra this morning!! There is parking for your car & two bus lines, going to wherever a tourist would like to go. The buses stop right out in front of the Hotel. So park your car & leave the driving to them. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Pepe is an exceptional proprietor who looks after his clients every need. I would recommend Hotel Albero to anyone visiting Granada to enjoy the City. As an example of how exceptional Pepe's service is, I'm including the following information about our planning and trip: Our Oct. Visit to Granada Spain and the Alhambra is likely a once in a lifetime visit, that was meticulously planned. In order to be certain entrance into the Alhambra, we attempted to purchase tickets online back in July. The day they were available to purchase, the internet site was not working correctly so in fear of not obtaining them, I asked Pepe via email to purchase them for us. No sooner had I done that, the internet site began to work and since we preferred morning tickets, I purchased the two we needed! I then immediately emailed Pepe back to request that he not buy the tickets since he had mentioned only afternoon was available. Wouldn't you know; he had already purchased the tickets so now we had two sets of tickets; both for the morning! As it turned out, Pepe (apologized) kept a remarkable attitude about my blunder of buying them after asking him to do so; We found a very grateful couple at the Alhambra that morning who bought the extra set. Everybody was happy! Breakfast is pleasant in the morning: a crescent, toasted roll, jelly, butter & other spreads & coffee.
There is nothing to dislike here!
Great location if you are driving, but good bus connections into the city so you don't have to drive into the city. Staff and owner/manager were very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed our two-night stay and would gladly return.
Minor point, breakfast was very heavy on the carbohydrate. Huge croissant and toast, plus juice. We opted to skip it the 2nd day.
Very comfortable hotel within 35 minutes walk from the Alhambra. The hotel was very good value indeed. Reception staff were pleasant and very helpful. They were Alhre able to make a booking for the Alhambra for us even though all the on line allocations were full.
There were no shops in the vicinity. The nearest restaurant was a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel manager is very helpful. We had an early time slot at the Granada and he agreed to an early breakfast for us. The hotel is about a 10 minute bus ride or 25 minute walk from the city centre. The walk is mainly along the side if the river genil so easy to follow and the nearby bus is also good. The hotel is easy to find. Use the coordinates on the Albero web site in Tom Tom to get there. It's just off the roundabout that leads up to the alambra after you pass from the Granada ring road, through the tunnel,to the alambrah. This is a small hotel with friendly helpful staff and an excellent car park under the hotel. (Only 5 euros a day) Granada is a lovely city, excellent resteraunts even for vegetarians! The Alberto is well situated on te edge but near the alambrah (20 min walk) and the two days we had there were splendid. The hotel manager has a map he gives out, and he will mark the important sites. Take your walking shoes, and enjoy!!! ( forgot to mention the hotel breakfast. It's basic but nice, good value, and very convienient as there are not may alternatives nearby) highly recommended.
Nothing. The hotel was excellent value. If you want posh lobby's and that sort of big hotel stuff then go elsewhere, this is a really nice place if you want good value and to enjoy Granada- a lovely city,
The location was good for us, we were walking in the Sierra Nevada area. It was near enough to walk into Granada (30mins) or take a bus........ The rooms were spotless and aircon was silent...... The Hotel owner Pepe spoke very good English
The breakfasts were ordinary, a toasted roll and croissant with butter, pate and marmalade. At the time we visited the area to park was under repair so we had to park 300mtrs away and climb the stairs from the front....good practice for the walks...
Well located just a short bus-ride or steady walk from the centre Really helpful staff who helped us get tickets for Alhambra Spacious rooms
Took a little bit of finding - though the Sat Nav didn't help
Our room was very noisy. The window was looking toward the main street.
That was my second time there, this time with two friends. Everything was the same as before. Nice and clean. Great staff, always ready to help you. The private parking was a plus for our motorbikes. And location is no a problem since you can pick up a bus which will take you to the city center for 1.20€.
Hotel staff were very accommodating. Pepe, one of the proprietors, and the two young girls, speak very good English. The hotel is located close to freeway access. We were able to park our car on the street nightly without problem. The hotel will be expanding their breakfast room in the next couple of months so as to offer items other than bread. We were in room 112, which was located at the end of the hotel, was quiet, and the A/C was cold. Nice place for the price.
The narrower than average twin beds were too hard for my taste.
- The stuff is very helpful - The hotel is open 247 - They can speak English most of them - Near Alhambra, far though from center - Parking free outside, and private parking for 5 euros only!
- Maybe location for night life - Dont take the room near the cleaning locker room if you wake up late.
