the pool area, the room, location, staff and breakfast.
i don,t think there should be any charge for the spa as a paying guest. It would have been good to have the pool bar open we had to go out the hotel to buy cold water and take back. the chairs in the bar area are getting a bit shabby now.
beach with stones, no sands poor breakfast table for babies, some evenings during the week poor dinner table. Would like to see more mediterranian kitchen!
Lovely hotel, beautiful food! Kids loved swimming pool, very nice staff.
Staff were excellent friendly cheerful always there to help,
The mattress on our bed was too firm.
victoria on the outside bar and the english restaurant waiter were absolutely brilliant, a credit to your hotel, the rest of the staff were very helpful and pleasant., the pool area was very nice and the view and food very good.
we upgraded from a standard room to a delux at extra cost only to find the only difference was you got a mini bar with drinks and crisps, robes to use, not keep, and a free safe, the only thing we had in the room was the free safe. the bed, which was the main reason we wanted to upgrade was not the one advertised in the brochur but the double that was shown in the standard room. basically we got a standard but was charged for a delux. we went to view your hotel last year and found the outside area perfect for us with trees and lots of umbrellas which is another reason we chose the hotel as i have skin cancer and cant go in the sun, there were only 2 umbrellas that worked, the rest were broken and couldnt be used. a big problem for us, we went to the pool at the opening time to try and get 1 but found people had already put towels on the sunbeds and gone for breakfast ignoring the not allowed sign. the room was not cleaned very well...
Hotel is well situated and near the beach. Facilities and rooms were correct and it was good value for money. The spa is very nice and the treatments very good!
Great stay. Friendly staff Check-in, no hassle.
Wifi log-in via browser.
Room very pleasant and clean, with fridge. Bed was too hard for me (but this is normal in hotels and my partner was happy with it) Nice view over the pool. Excellent breakfast. We did not take any other meals.
I would have had to pay extra to use the spa. I appreciate treatments must be paid for but I think that in a 4 star hotel, the spa should be free at least once in the stay.
food good, spa great, poolside great
poor wifi availability
The views the bed was comfortable
No kettle to make a cup of tea on the room and being charged to put your money in the safe sometimes no hot water for a shower and the food at breakfast the cooked was greasy and cold
We went half board and the breakfast and evening meal were both very good with an excellent selection. House wine only €8.20 a bottle which for a hotel we thought reasonable.
Being charged €4 a day for use of the safe in the room.
Staff are lovely. Always madento feel welcome.
Internet poor. Late night activity when hired out your ball room the guests very noisy when leaving woken us up and also complained about noise from dutch band people after their show very noisy outside but after complaint your staff did make it quieter.
Wi-fi poor connection & TV didn't work !
The hotel is in an ideal location. The rooms were spacious with a balcony. It wasn't noisy so we slept very well. The food was good also.
The only negative thing I have to say was that we couldn't get wifi in our rooms. They did say though that there was a problem at the time
We have stayed at Albir Player now about 8 times and every time we love it. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They even offered us a picnic breakfast as we had an early flight. We can not wait for our next visit. The location is ideal for us with some great restaurants in Albir. The rooms are always kept clean and tidy by friendly staff. As normal the breakfast was always good. We would like to thank you for making our holiday enjoyable.
The only thing which is not a dislike, but the rooms could do with coffee/tea making facilities so you can have that 1st cup in the morning.
The wifi, no indoor swimmingpool, no gym.
The welcome from Carol at reception - was FANTASTIC... warm, helpful and friendly The room was great, perfect location, super modern hotel...very VERY clean Breakfast was a huge buffet with great choice - no hassle
Parking at ten euros a night is ridiculous considering its free outside and around the hotel and the area is safe... The wifi is 'under repair'
The room was spacious and very clean, breakfast was good with a varied selection. Spa looked great although i didnt have chance to use it this time, lots of restaurants close by.
The hairdryer in bathroom as it had no strength for blow drying. Coffee at breakfast, from a machine that seems to make all varieties taste the same and tea evebn tasted of coffee!
Friendly and helpfull staff Very nice pool area Clean and well maintained
Room had view of supermarket and rubbish bins (bottle bank used throughout the night!) Very noisy with local construction work
the view and situation, kindness of spanish staff.
the evening meal with no spanish cooking.dessert of poor creativity. Wifi not available. animation not really attractive when existing
We stayed for a wedding in another hotel and so glad we stayed here, the staff cannot do enough for you the food was lovely it was a lovely relaxed hotel and everything was clean and efficient, had a spa session and massage this was excellent, would stay here again next time we are in Albir
Cannot fault anything
Great hotel in quiet location, though still close to shops, restaurants etc. Rooms very clean and fridge in room kept well stocked, as we booked a deluxe room. Have stayed here before and will visit again.
the room was very good but there was a brown stain on the sofa which we reported on the first day so that we would not be blamed for it, nothing was done about the stain for the rest of our stay. Other than that we were happy with everything else.
To be honest, the food at the hotel was nothing special, when you consider that the price for Breakfast was 12 Euros per person and the Lunch & Dinner was 18 Euros per person we expected something a little bit special but were disappointed [6 weeks earlier we stayed at the Rio Park Hotel in Benidorm which was half the price and the food was many, many times better with much more of a choice in dishes.
Great staff, room and appearance in general of the hotel. The only things that were at all negative were that the location is a little out from the centre and the beach, the car parking was 10 euros a day which is quite steep and the wifi was extremely hit and miss. Apart from these very minor things, we had a great time. Lovely place, great staff, wonderful food and a hotel that come recommended.
Location wasn't really in the heart of things. Ask for a pool view for afternoon sun and better outlook. Parking was pricey at 10 euros a day and the wifi didn't always work.
beds were very hard, could not sleep at all. breakfast was poor, most of food that was supposed to be hot was stone cold.
