Staff was very friendly. 3 min walking distance to the old town centre. Free parking around the hotel. Good WiFi. The hotel is build like a guitar box. All sound is amplified and thus makes it noisy. You can hear everything that happens at the reception on the 2nd floor. Fan in the bathroom was very loud, probably room specific.

Good location between the Bus terminal and the town center. Easy to find. Although we booked a family room, two small rooms were offered as they said, the toilet had been broken in the room. But the shower in one of the two rooms was also broken. The room wall is so thin that we could hear the upper floor guests moving. Some of staffs don't understand English at all (To be fair, I should mention, the other with excellent English is very helpful).

It was a lovely little hotel. We had a room for 4 which was perfect for us. It was on the ground floor and the staff just left us alone with no probs at all. Its right next to the beach and town and it was great sitting with a beer with the door open and watching the passers-by go about their business. We loved it here and would definitely return

We needed accommodation for one night only, being in transit to Tangier. This hotel was functional in that respect. Friendly receptionist, clean, smallish room, adequate bed and shower. Nothing elegant whatsoever. Very basic room for the price, especially after much better rooms at relatively bargain prices in far more interesting places across Spain. Unless you are there for wind-surfing or, like us, wanting a night's rest before taking the ferry, I can't see any compelling reason for visiting Tarifa.

It's a nice hotel in mudejar style, with decorated tiles and courtyard. The staff is very friendly, ready to help, with a great care to maintain the hotel very clean. There are 15 min. walk to the port and 10 min. to the beach. The most important problem is the lack of a parking. The parking on the street is free but we need more luck to find a place. The hotel have not elevator.

We got to the Alborada early as we had a 9:00 am ferry to Morroco. The owners were friendly and stored our luggage till we got back which wasn't till 11:00 pm. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice too. We have stayed in some places in Europe that were supposed to be a 4/5 star. This place is just as nice or nicer. We would recommend this to all, great value for ror money and only 3 short blocks from town.

We loved the location - hostel is just around the corner of the main shopping street right in the middle of Tarifa. We booked the quadruple room (4 persons) but the room was very small. When entering the room you almost have to jump on the bed. Also room was located right on the street so when people pass by you can hear them talk (which they do all night long).

The breakfast was one of the best we had at any hotel - great coffee and amazing fresh croissants and fresh orange juice. The hotel is very noisy. We were in a "less noisy" room that we still found very noisy due to the open concept of the hotel. Earplugs are a necessity. Good wifi in the rooms though.

Perfect location, very close to beach, that´s the main reason I chose it. Very ardent and friendly staff, clean room, very beautiful decoration at the entrance of the Hotel. Super close to two supermarkets, dia% and Super Sol. Comparing to the hotels at Sevilla and Granada, it is very expensive, but this is Tarifa, I think Hotels with this location are all at this level. If they could include even a modest breakfast, that is 100% perfect.

Spartan but clean hotel, with great coffee and fresh orange juice. Nice sitting areas outside of rooms make up for small size of the rooms. On street parking. Friendly helpful staff - run by an extended family. Short walk from old city and beaches.

It was clean, with friendly staff, a nice balcony, and was fine for a short stay. Massively over priced for what you are getting, almost double what you would to expect to pay. The rooms were tiny for three people, not very comfortable.
