Admire traditional Andalusian charm at the Averroes hotel, which has its own outdoor pool and is well-located in Córdoba’s historic quarter.

Quiet room overlooking the courtyard.
Breakfast was not great and expensive. Wifi was nonexistent.
Located within the historic area but a few steps away from the busiest streets and walks. A small oasis. Book a top floor room, overlooking the rooftops, or lower level on the courtyard.
A few luxuries missing but excellent at the price.
Simple accomodation. Someone always on the front desk, very helpful information on places to visit.
We slept well, but other guests were a bit noisy above, would have been resolved if they had removed their heels sooner when they came in at 2am!
Position, The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly adequate a bit dull perhaps
A air conditioning unit on building opposite just out side window quite annoying. Doors to bedrooms quite noisy closing with heavy wooden knobs on key fobs that clatter against doors.
The location of the hotel was great. The garden in front would have been lovely had it not rained while we were there. Our room was a larger than average.
Did not like that the cost of breakfast was piecemeal.
The hotel is located at the middle of everything People working there are always ready to help Nice environment
Very peaceful attractive hotel also very close to the main monuments
Water noy always hot enough
Excellent localization. Nice interior. Convenient. Good value.
Absolutly terrible enterance to the garage. Horror. Requires good driving skills and help from the other person. Damage to the car very likely. Poor WiFi. Bad breakfast.
Good location quiet place stylish surrounding
Not very stable wi fi connection
very near to the masjid-cathedral, 3 minutes walk
very small room
The Hotel is located in the heart of the Juderia, only 5 min from the Mezequita. It has a lovely inner courtyard an it is cool and quiet even at the height of summer. The staff were very nice (though their English is very basic) and made our stay a pleasant experience. The rooms are basic yet clean and the ac is impeccable.
The beds are a bit hard and the wifi collapsed at least once a day. The staff also keep a very noisy bird in a cage in the courtyard. If they would set it free everyone (bird included) would be better off!
Nicely furnished. Perfect location. Nice courtyard.
Lift music plays all the time in the lobby and sometimes is audible in the rooms. Basic breakfast was not great value: toast or a croissant. You are not allowed to take breakfast in the courtyard but have to take it in the lobby with the awful music instead.
Lots of room to move about, my husband and I were not stepping on each other's toes. We enjoyed our room overlooking their inner garden. We did not have to use the aircon as we could leave the windows open to enjoy the cool air. The reception area was airy....
The hotel uses incandescent lights with low wattage and mixed white and yellow bulbs. It made the rooms dark. The hallway light outside our room had to be turned on, or it remains dark. The rest operates by a motion detector. On our second night, some people talked in the inner garden until about 12:30 am. The trucks on the road were also very loud late after midnight. I did not sleep until after 1 a.m.
Location perfect for sightseeing old town and mezquita etc Parking available at hotel
Breakfast was poor value Hard bed and pillows No hot drinks available during daytime, the bar only stocked water, coco cola and beer
Central location, very helpful staff
Nice hotel with good position.
The staff, the location, the courtyard, and the price.
There was really nothing to dislike.
*location - proximity to historic part of city *Lovely interior courtyard - a relaxing and cooler place to linger rooms were clean and basic
location - a challenge to find for first time visitor to the city in a car
Wonderful location,spotless room,helpful staff
Good location. Lovely inner courtyatd, very clean. Nice feel.
WIFI did not work, staff very un know legible on subject. Attempt to communicate did not work well staff flexibility was poor in this area. Use of translated books/smart phone use were met with impatience (very inappropriate in my estimation). Full control of room electricity for air conditioner at front desk. Electricity turned off during day, which meant coming back to hot room (no ac). Without exception we had to ask for electric to be turned on. We we never told of this policy and did not figure it out without a lengthy (again frustrating) conversation with staff see previous.
Poor lighting in stairwell for the second and third floor.
The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The giant croissants and fresh orange juice for breakfast were delicious. The location is superb for walking. It was also interesting to read about the influential Moorish surgeon from so long ago after whom the hotel is named.
The hotel is difficult to find and access by car. Once we got our car in their garage, everything was perfect.
Location and parking just next door. But not easy to find without a navigator.
