Weak internet connection.

Short walk from Las ramblas, close to metro station, very clean, good value for money, all new appliances. Staff very helpful.

Road noise at night, small hot water tank so maximum 1.5 hot showers in the morning for 5 people.

The bathroom is a little too small for 4 people.

Localisation : close to the subway, sagrada.

The apartment was clean.

The check-in process took over an hour. The apartment was not at the location mentioned in the description, but a few blocks away, I was driven there by car. But the biggest minus was that the apartment I was given did not at all match the description. It was much smaller, and it had no terrace, and no fireplace. It was very dark. There was no DVD-Player. The photos on the internet show only the most luxurious, most spacious apartments, not the one I got. My living room was really small, also the bath room, and the kitchen. I can recommend this for maximum 2 people. In the shower, about 2 squaremeters of tiles were missing ! The showerhead was old and dirty. There was no shower curtain, consequently the whole bathroom was flooded when taking a shower. There is no real reception, I had to call the landlords for making a date. They showed up 10 minutes late. It took more than one hour to do all the paperwork, and drive to the apartment. The apartment was on the first floor of a very narrow street, so it was really dark, with a grimm atmosphere. The floor consisted of cheap wood imitate. The sofa was the most uncomfortable sofa I ever sat on.

On landing both the phone numbers for alcam Barcelona were not working . They said it was a faulty network . The office had moved across the road but address provided to us had not changed

Wery nice and biautiful, modern and very spacious for our family of fife. We recommended, as is the city of Barcelona which we loved!

Was some problem with hot water. Almoust all four days the hot water cam and disapear.

Professional, efficient and friendly staff enabled smooth pick up and handover at apartment which was fresh and contemporary as well as comfortable.

Only drawback was lack of safe deposit facility in apartment.

The location, cleanliness and facilities of the apartment were excellent.

The only downside was the double bed - which had a cheap wooden base, so even if you sat on it the noise must have resonated through to the flat below. We woke up so much during the first night we had to abandon in and sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge. A minor problem which could be solved very quickly.

Quiet, pretty good location, clean at arrival

Although four, we have booked a 6 adults’ apartment and asked specifically for one with a veranda as seen in the photos. We got one that could barely accommodate four people and had a three inches wide balcony. The apartment was freshly renovated. Sadly, no one bothered to check if things were actually functioning there. Here are some random remarks: 1) There was a wc leak 2) The shower head exploded at day two 3) a shutter collapsed during the first gentle attempt to open it. 4) The fridge door was mounted the other way around and couldn’t open with the kitchen door closed 5) There was not a single hook mounted anywhere in the apartment, which caused a permanent towel exhibition 6) The carpet was heavily shedding, spreading dust bunnies all over. 7) The heating control panel offered two choices: extremely hot or no heating at all (We chose the second one). 8) All digital tv channels were out of reach and the remaining ones were broadcasting only in Spanish or Catalan. 9) No lock at the bathroom door…. Etc… etc. Don’t get fooled by the photos. These people simply do not care!

It is just one step out of the touristic areas. Therefore it is quite and bars and restaurants are normally spanish and not touristicly priced (ca. 30 - 40 % less). We could meet locals in the bars and not only tourists. Our trip was a wonderful Spain experience (my entire family is fluent in spanish).

Great service. We had a late arrival and a very early departure and this was 0 problem. Everthing worked out 100% as expected. Clean, nicely furnitured and well ambiented apartment.

Very friendly & co-operative staff. The location of the apartment was great & close-by to all major attractions.

This particular apartment where I stayed (right opposite to Alcam office) had an 2 issues - the neighbours are loud & the bathroom makes lot of noise whenever you use taps,flush or when its re-filling. Not a huge problem, but if you have small children with you, you may want to consider it.

We really enjoyed our stay there, apartments were spacey, clean and modern. A lot of things there make you feel like home: plaids, some food (rice, sugar, coffee), towels and wi-fi. a little bit far from city center, you should take metro or buses which are pretty expensive if you're student ))) but it wasn't a big deal I would highly recommend this apartment if you don't want live in noisy city center areas.

A deposit of 300 euros was asked for on arrival - this was not mentioned at any time during or after the booking, and should be made clear at the time of booking, or at least in the e-mails they send after the booking is made. The deposit was paid by credit card and repaid the same way, and so the currency conversion rate for the repayment frpm EUROs to £ meant a loss of £17 which had to be paid by the guest.

Perfect sized apartment for us. Relatively close to station and centre of town. We would stay again

The terrace has no view/sun but to be fair we were not home most of the time so it didn't matter!

Our staff - Marisa, Miguel and Joro were very helpfull and wellcoming. Marisa helped me to get tickets for the Travel Bus and both with Miguel helped us with our apartment accomodation and our future stay. We were very pleased. The apartment was very comfortable and specious.

There was a little discomfort at the kitchen. We found a lot of aunts close to the kitchen sink and they didn't go away. Maybe some effitient spray will help.

As a wish - so small bathroom for 6 persons, improvement absolutely needed!!! The washing mashine should be fixed))) the water should go to tube, not to the balkony floor :) If it's ok for neighbours -OK))) (i mean Roger, 4-th floor)

The particular apartment we had (Grassot street, not far from La Sagrada Familia)) was surprisingly beautiful, modern and very spacious for our family of four. Very nice layout with a second bedroom up a set of stairs on a mezzanine level. Also had a pleasant full outdoor garden with trees and patio furniture. Apartment opened directly onto the street, which seemed alarming at first - but sound proofing eliminated all outdoor noise - which given it was a quiet little avenue didn't amount to much traffic anyhow. Definitely recommended, as is the city of Barcelona which we loved!

When we arrived we had no hot water and after an hour we lost all electricity completely. This put a severe damper on our day as we had to cancel all plans and wait hours for a maintenance guy to turn up and we couldn't leave the apartment as we had to wait and show the fix it man what the problems were! When he did show up the job soon became far bigger than anticipated, with a considerable amount of pulling apart wiring (and numerous self inflicted and scary unsafe work practices resulting in electrical shocks in the process) until we finally had power - some hours later, once a second 'sparky' arrived on scene - by which time it was evening already. We nearly asked to be moved elsewhere, but once fixed our stay was excellent.

Comfortable, spatial, well equipped appartement ideal for a family of three, possible for a family of four if the two kids can share a sofa. Good location for sightseeing, a few minutes from Sagrada Familia.

The only thing I missed were tea towels in the kitchen, otherwise everything was great.

Good location, pleasant friendly staff. We had a wonderful time.

Location, price and staff are good.

Location is good, but parking places in Barcelona are still full, you have to use parking houses and 12hrs parking during night was 17,30 euro and it was cheapest. Rooms are very small and beds as well.
