Good location to visit Barcelona. Very close to casa Mira / La Pedrera, and not far from La Sagrada Familia and the Ramblas. Inside very well equipped kitchen. The interior looks fairly recently renovated. Very bright veranda. Very big master bedroom. The remaining two bedrooms are smaller but OK in size. Two bathrooms present, which is good if one stays with 7 people.
From the outside, the building does not look very inviting (however, on the inside, it's all up to standard). The smaller bathroom shows some signs of aging.
The apartment that is in the pictures is not the appartment that we stayed in! The appartment was a lot smaller! The pictures are very misleading!!!
Quality of the apartment, spacious with good quality fixtures and fittings Excellent location
No real negatives, only very minor suggestions for improvement: Mirrors needed in the bedrooms for girls getting ready! The door keys were all a bit tricky to get working. A map of the local area from tourist information/general pack of info about where nearest food shop/metro/tourist information is would have been helpful
Location was fine and the apartment too.
We got an unpleasant wake up the last morning. The staff had changed the pick up time WITHOUT TELLING US. The person who came to us was rude and accused us of slowing things down. He was more than half an hour early...
Location, ideal for getting round Barcelona. Plenty of space, in rooms.
They cancelled our second apartment even though I had sent confirmation well in advance. We ended up with a standard apartment instead of two luxury apartments.
The position was very good and the apartment was really nice!
Very nice modern clean apartments which were nicely decorated.
Checking out procedure. No one turned up to the apartment for us to check out. Had to make a 15 min walk to the offices with all our luggage
Checking in was a nightmare! Trained staff who actually know where the entrance to the building is would be helpful!
I have just returned from a weekend in Barcelona, having rented an apartment from Alcam Barcelona. This has been one of the most upsetting and unfortunate rentals I have ever made and I am emailing you to list my complaints and to find out who is going to compensate me for the dreadful stay. I made these complaints directly to the representative who let us into the apartment and I also listed the problems and gave them to the representative on our departure. We arrived, outside the apartment at Alcam Paseo de Gracia at the time agreed and rang the company to say we were there. I was told by telephone that there had been some trouble at the apartment the night before and that it was no longer available. I find it hard to believe that all three bedrooms in the apartment had been ruined. We were told to take a taxi and to go several miles to another apartment at 328 Carrer Balmes. There was no prior notice of this change and a total lack of communication. However, the four of us took a taxi, with all our luggage, to an apartment that was nowhere near the centre of Barcelona but in a suburb. We were reimbursed for that single taxi journey but it did mean that during our stay we spent a further 80€ to 90€ on taxi journeys which we would not have had to do if we could have stayed in the original apartment. I asked the representative how much would be deducted from the rental for the problems caused by the change. He contacted his manager who said that no deduction would be made and that if we did not like it we did not have to stay in the apartment. Bearing in mind that it was a holiday weekend with the F1 grand prix in town this was not a viable option. Take it or leave it has never been the business strategy. There were also a number of problems with the apartment in which we stayed.
Easy process and Emiliano was helpful with checkin
Would have liked more sets of keys for such large flats.
The location of the apartment is amazing. The lady who welcomed us, although made us wait for her and took probably 10 calls while talking to us, was still friendly and gave us advice about city. Check out was no problem. Very good value for money if staying in a group.
Noise from the street, as it is located in the cetre.
Great location and the wifi is an added bonus particularly for the teenage kids and their IPads. I chose an apartment rather then a hotel due to the facilities but I have to say that this wasn't achieved on balance. The merits were significantly outweighed by the negatives.
The beds in the master bedroom were poor- almost a glorified camp bed x 2 which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep, not helped by poor sound proofing from the windows. The shower was particularly average and not up to standard. The biggest complaint I have is the unwelcome presence of a member of staff and two other guests in the lounge at 10am on the morning of our departure. Apparently, they let themselves in and clearly weren't expecting to see us in situ. With three children in the apartment, I consider this an appalling security breach and intrusion into our personal space and holiday. No apology has been received for this breach. Wouldn't use again and wouldn't recommend.
- The apartment is just amazing. - It's within 10 minutes walking from Diagonal metro station. It's close to Las Ramblas and La Sagrada.
. The toilet doesn't have locks. . We had to wait a long time for the check-in.
the staff was very unexpriencied,an unqualified, rude and unhelpfull
The apartment was beautiful and was great value for money. Suited all of our needs for a group of 8 girls. Clean and Modern I would definitely stay here again.
taxis did not know the location of the hotel which caused many problems. worth looking for another land mark close to hotel. no kettle. one of the showers was just a dribble.
The location is very convenient because it is within walking distance to Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, the train station, the Paseo de Gracia, the Diagonal and the Las Ramblas. Staff are very friendly and flexible in accomodating our early check-in. Beds are very comfortable.
It is better to have some hooks in the bathrooms for towels and clothes.
The location is great so was the apartment and the furniture and the space was perfect
The accesses through the garage was not good as the door closes on Saturday and Sunday and around 10 pm weekdays and the keys were very hard to use
