Excellent location,we recommend this hotel who want's to visit all the sites of seville, you are close enough to go on foot. We used the bus from the airport and it stops just up the road from the hotel walking distance. As from the other reviews we have booked on bed only and we had b'fast next door , good value for money. We have found an excellent restaurant close the hotel the name is el 3 de oro restaurant it's in sta maria la blanca street we were extremely satisfied with the food !! We have really enjoyed our holiday in Seville !!

The hotel was well situated in the Santa Cruz area and near most of the sites which we wanted to visit eg the cathedral, the Alcazar, the plaza de espana. All the sites were within walking distance as well as many beautiful parks. It was easy to get to using the local bus from the airport and we were able to get easily to the train station for a visit to Jerez. The staff were always very helpful and patient and spoke very good English. The hotel was exactly what we wanted.I Had read some reviews complaining about the staff being "unhelpful" but as the stay went on and if you made the effort to be friendly with them they were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was tuck away so very quiet-if perhaps a little small for a seven day stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, I liked it. The continental buffet breakfast was good and abundant. The location of the hotel is perfect, few minutes away from the city centre and plaza de espana. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The only thing I can think of, is that for breakfast they don't have black tea (normal english tea), and I don't drink coffee.

The hotel was easy to find and very centrally located, only 200 metres (approx) from La Giralda. The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The staff were hospitable. The hotel was over the road from the gardens to the Royal Alcazar. The The walls of the rooms are paper thin. We still a little jet lagged and were awake at 4.30 am so decided to make a phone call. We weren't speaking loudly, but the people in the room next door were disturbed and hammered on the wall, yelling at us to shut up. Not very pleasant. A hotel should be capable of providing minimal privacy. An otherwise good hotel failed on this point. The breakfast was pretty ordinary: croissant, buns, ham, cheese, tinned fruit, wheat flakes; the coffee was good. For the price and location, it was great. Don't expect a flash breakfast.

The staff was excellent. They were friendly and attentive. The location is wonderful. It is close to the Prado de San Sebastian and the Parque de Maria Luisa, which are both beautiful, but also the older city, such as the Cathedral. You could hear everything that was going on in the hallways, such as people walking and talking. And people came and went at all times of the day. Otherwise, this hotel was a great stay.

I just got back from Alcazar hotel. I've read a couple of bad reviews about this hotel before arriving and actually I was quiet concerned about that. But I never encounterd those things. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good acording to the stansarts of a 3 star hotel, better than I had in such hotels at Paris or London. My room and beddings were cleaned on daily basis. And the biggest advantage is the location of course - all the important sites were very close, and still the hotel located in a quiet less crowdy and noisy place. Well, I difinitely would consider staying again there.

Great location, close to all the sites and best areas of Seville. Clean and neat hotel. Close to a variety of restaurants, the one next door was great for breakfast or a cheap lunch. Check in was easy and transfer from plane to hotel in approx 45 mins. Hotel was a little noisy, once the person in the next room was up so were you! Saying that it meant we were up early to see all the sites before the mid day heat!! Air conditioning was not turned on until 2pm, ok if you were up and out of the hotel in the morning but got hot if you returned for a siesta before 2pm!

Good location, helpful staff. Rooms not big, but okay if you plan to spend most of your time out seeing the sights. Soundproofing between rooms very poor, could hear people in neighbouring rooms talking and using bathrooms - noisy pipework. Room also very dark and airconditioning switched off automatically overnight and could not be turned back on in the morning.

A very modern and exceptionally clean hotel, very easy to find, close to bus station tram and metro, excellent location for both 'the old and new' areas of this wonderful city. Staff willing to go the 'extra mile', very polite, professional with a cheerful smile, especially when having to cope with my basic spanish. Happy to accomodate our suitcase (free of charge) after we had checked out, with a very late flight home we were able to used hotel lounge and toilet facilities until 7pm. Air con was on from 13.30 until 7am, which in Sept was adequate. Breakfast is basic but enough to set you on your way, however, the option of 'boiled eggs' would be a welcome addition. We really enjoyed our stay here and will recommended it to others, excellent value. No real complaints about the hotel, perhaps a small bar would be a bonus as the one next door was very expensive (a beer and a g+t = 10 euros)

Location is great, good value for money, hotel rooms were clean and good enough. Although staff were helpful on the whole, they were not as warm and welcoming as we would have liked. We did not opt for breakfast, but there is a bar/restaurant next door which where you can get a simple but great and cheap breakfast, so bfast at the hotel does not seem worth it.

I recomend Hotel Alcazar for its cleanliness and its comfort as far as bathroom and bedroom. Nicely furnished and has most emnities. It stands right across from the Bario St Cruz and all the interesting places walking distance. Taking the airport coach stops you about 100 metre or so from Hotel Alcazar which is so convienient. Missed having the frigo bar in the bedroom.

Has a nice localization. No parking space during day, only between 8pm and 9am, otherwise you have to pay. The bathroom was very smelly.
