location was awesome

Close to attractions.
Only had1 bolster pillow.
Clean, orderly, and well positioned
Rather anonymous, no real character.
Location, friendly staff
If we are in Seville we always stay at the Alcazar as the service and value for money are always consistent. It also has a great location. The last couple of times we had a room with the view of the lovely park and the Giralda which was an added bonus. Although on a main road the double-double glazing keeps the noise low. We also got internet in our room which is an improvement from having to use internet in the public areas of the hotel. The hotel is currently having work done to improve the facilities which will only make this hotel even better. We do not have breakfast in the hotel as there are many cafes round about to get a better choice.
They were doing renovation and the noise was intolerable! The parking is narrow and difficult to use. There is no refrigerator in the room. No view from our room. There wasn't litter basket in the room.
We always check availability at Hotel Alcazar if we need to stay in Sevilla. It is an excellent reasonably priced hotel, with a great location and very helpful staff. You can leave your luggage with them and it is very handy if travelling by coach as it is near one of the two coach stations in Sevilla.
We never take the breakfast option as there are cafes near the hotel that offer, for us, a better choice of breakfast.
Noise of repair work early in morning.
Location is 5-min walk to santa cruz plaza and area, <10 mins to cathedral, very convenient. Room is a bit old but got everything you need - very basic.
The location was the only thing to like about this hotel. I was aware of all it's problems from reading prior reviews but genuinely tought people were overdoing it - this is NOT the case.
The walls are way too thin, you can hear a pin drop on the room next door. If you are unlucky with your neighbors - as I was, you won't get much sleep. The hotel controls the temperature and strength of the air con and, to make it worst, they turn it off during the night, which means you will wake up feeling terribly hot. This will also make going to the hotel in the afternoon to shower or rest quite unpleasant. My room felt like a sauna in the afternoons! I also found a living coacroach in the bathroom which was just unacceptable. To top it all, parking was quite difficult and very expensive and the hotel staff seemed to have little control over the garage door and my husband and I were trapped in the garage twice!
Location, close to real alcazar and city center, was good. Internet connection was very good.
No variations/limited options for breakfast. Rooms are small and beds are small (length of 1.80 m).
Location is close to many attractions.
Hotel furniture is generally old , rooms are small, there is no refrigerator.
Position, very close to Alcazar and city center
The sheets were stained.
Good location. Cheap. Nice looking rooms with modern bathrooms.
Only 1 power point in the entire room. Air conditioning was on some kind of timer and turned itself off during the day. Was not properly cleaned. Some stains still in the toilet. Staff were complicit, but prickly.
The location is excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. It is very good value.
No internet access in the bedroom but it is available in the public areas.
Great location for all the sites. Very helpful staff.
Location. Walk to Cathedral & Santa Cruz district. Nice big bathroom.
A bit noisy as city centre & busy dual carriage way.
Breakfast was very good. Very convenient to both the old town and the bus station.
Very good location, 5 min from the cathedral, good breakfast, helpfull staff, decent rooms.
location - near the bus station, and near to sightseeing
Excellent location and excellent value for money
the wifi didn't reach the room and the signal wasn't very strong either in the communal areas.
The location close to the old city and the railway station was great. Our room with a balcony overlooking the Alcazar and parklands was very comfortable and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Noisey hallway when people were returning late
The hotel large and new. Had a lot of space at my room. Very close to barrio santa cruz.
The breakfast was very poor . no vegtables. Better to pay and eat outside the hotel in large variety of restaurants in santa cruz.
