Hotel Alexandra Barcelona  

It was central but off the main road,it is very attractive and modern,very pleasant staff.The evening dinner menu was very good with wide choice of starters, mains and desserts. And good value for money.

I felt the Breakfast was on the expensive side,there were four of us, and at 18 euros each per day, too much.

A great value for the money. Moderately priced, this boutique hotel is centrally located in a very nice area of Barcelona. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel is modern. There is a fun bar in the lobby with a sidewalk cafe in front of the hotel-- serviced by the hotel restaurant and bar.

There is very little that I didn't like--especially for the price. I think that you can hear other guest in their rooms more than other hotels. More through the doors than the walls. But, it was not too bothersome. The gym doesn't have much more than 3 cardio machines, so if you like to work out while traveling there isn't much there.

Rooms facing street are a little noisy.

Location was perfect,room was comfortable.

Bathroom lacks ventilation. Breakfast buffet choices were limited. Only pork was served(turkey was served only once) as cold cuts which does not suit muslim travellers.

Although the hotel staff were very accommodating -- they didn't smile at all and didn't give us much information unless we asked specifically.

great atmosfære to enter into fresh smell, music. The hotel is situated in a great spot of Barcelona. The room was nice to relax in in between trips around Barcelona.

We had to turn off the air con due to the parfume scent. The smell was very strong and gave me head ace. After we aired the room it was fine. We did try the ait con again and the perfume came back.

The location, the space of the rooms and the facilities in the rooms are good enought for 2 to 3 nights stay

We had a problem with one of the air-conditioning at one of the rooms, and after several requests of fixing it, we werethen offered to move to another room but apparently the new room was not checked as we discovered that the a/c is not also working in the new room until it had reached a stage where it was not posssible to stay then we we offered the upgrade. The process was too long.

I love the shops around the hotel, indeed the fact that everyone is so friendly and nice. I would strongly recommend the Alexandra to anyone coming to visit Barcelona
