This 19th-century building is in the historic quarter of Granada, 330 yards from the cathedral. The Alhambra is 15 minutes from the hotel.
Score from 677 reviews Excellent
Wonderful views over the city, and very close to the Alhambra monument. There is also a good 'hop-on hop-off' tourist 'train' stop close by, so it is easy to see the city using this hotel as your base.
Location is great. Less than 10 min walk to Alhambra. Also close to other points of interest in Granada, and one can explore them by foot. There is also a bus station close by.
Internet did not work in our room at all. We had to pay for parking.
THE LOCATION WITH A VIEW OVERLOOKING THE CITY OF GRANADA. GREAT ROOM. GREAT SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL BUILDING
NO NEGATIVES AT ALL
The decoration and location.
A bit of luxury in a lovely setting, close to the palace and gardens
Dining was a bit pricey
The view on the terrace
staff supper friendly and helpful, had a real good dinner.
Decor is fantastic air-conditioning throughout. Good room service. Comfy room with a view. Terrace bar with great view and able to have small meals there or in room. Staff very helpful. An expensive hotel but adds to the Alhambra experience.
No pool (a quibble) but after walking round the Alhambra in August you need a dip. Restaurant unbelievably expensive so didn't use it.
It's a nice but older hotel very close to the Alhambra, which is a short 10 min walk up the hill. The hotel is in a great location, great views and the front desk staff are excellent
The hotel is quite hard to find by car. The entrance to the very small road to access the hotel (and some others) is adjacent to the EXIT of the parking lot for the Alhambra. Despite explicit directions - it can be easy to miss this, since it looks like (and is also) the exit to the parking lot, off the roundabout adjacent to the parking lot at the top of the hill. The two main pieces of advice to access the hotel by car are: don't go into the Alhambra parking lot and don't drive through the centre of the city.
Good location, friendly service and charming hotel decor
1) No electric iron and ironing board in the room 2)No tea and coffee making facilities in the room 3) No small clothes line in the bathroom 4) No exhaust fan in the bathroom
The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Brilliant service, astounding views and its proximity to the Alhambra. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back there
Nothing - it was brilliant!
Historic architecture. The views- especially from the terrace. Room beautifully furnished and comfortable.
Reception and porterage staff were excellent but bar service very slow.
Location good Staff friendly and helpful Parking facilities good Room was good and chocs on the pillow each evening
Didn't like the restaurant - the ambience not ideal. Eat on the Terrace. Suites didn't have a balcony No tea or coffee making facilities. Not easy to find on the Sat Nav
i enjoyed the scenery and the old town .
Location is excellent, and the scenery from the balcony is awesome. Breakfast is nice.
Tour to the city is way difficult. Parking there requires a valet.
Location, very close to Alhambra
Had to pay parking
location, food and hotel exquisite!
We have stayed for 3 nights in early August with 2 teenagers and 2 younger kids. The hotel provides a warm welcoming atmosphere. The view overlooking the old town is amazing. And it is within walking distance to Alhambra. Greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
Limited food options and pricey.
Grandness, old world feeling of building and furnishings. We spent time both am and pm gazing at the mesmerizing view of the city from our balcony. Desk staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
Nothing stands out.
Felt like staying at Alhambra.
Room was a bit small for 3
We loved the location and the views. If you don't mind walking up and down the steep hills into Albaicin and realjo, it is the perfect spot.
The location is just a few blocks from the entrance to Alhambra but as usual directional signage is hard figure. Breakfast excellent, restaurant and veranda bar very good. Rooms were very comfortable and quite luxurious.
