Great location for visiting the Alhambra Palace. A short taxi ride from town. Great scenic view. Great breakfast bar.
A bit noisy as the sound proof is not so good. Can hear everything from the hallway. The staff at the bar can be a bit more attentive
The location was great with a short walking distance to the Alhambra. We liked the breakfast. The bar had a very nice terrace overlooking the city of Granada - drinks are expensive so you pay for the view!
We knew there was no pool, but it would have been very nice if there was one to cool down after the sightseeing.
Small room , shower didn't work very well, no tea making facilities , had to pay for car park. Very uncomfortable bed
Wi fi speed very slow
best location, best view, elegance
this hotel was amazing, not just to look at and the view it has of Granada(as it was impressive), but also the rooms are spacious and bright and service was excellent. The hotel is close to the heart of Granada and the Alhambra. very impressed.
Entire family "wowed" by accommodations, views, location, staff, and services
They did not honor the booking for a king size bed
Next to the Palace Fabulous view from the room overlooking Granada Lovely sitting in the bar terrace as the canopy was wound back and sitting there under the stars was pretty special Walked into town easily too so location brilliant Valet parked our car at the door so easy parking ---
A/C was just adequate
Our own balcony was great!
Kitchen smells not so good
With a wedding in full swing , the staff managed everyone with a smile !
Downside was only single beds available and the bath water coming out of the overflow drain in the bathroom floor!
Staff, rooms, food
The hotel and staff were ideal for our purposes. The place has the style of the Grand Chateaux of the late 19th and early 20th century. A very nice way to enjoy the Alhambra Palace and grounds as well as the rest of Granada. The two places matched.
The restaurant was beautiful and the service very nice in an elegant English style of its time. Dining room and bar were beautiful. The food was adequate but didn't quite come up to the standard of the ambiance.
Wonderful views over the city, and very close to the Alhambra monument. There is also a good 'hop-on hop-off' tourist 'train' stop close by, so it is easy to see the city using this hotel as your base.
Location is great. Less than 10 min walk to Alhambra. Also close to other points of interest in Granada, and one can explore them by foot. There is also a bus station close by.
Internet did not work in our room at all. We had to pay for parking.
THE LOCATION WITH A VIEW OVERLOOKING THE CITY OF GRANADA. GREAT ROOM. GREAT SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL BUILDING
NO NEGATIVES AT ALL
The decoration and location.
A bit of luxury in a lovely setting, close to the palace and gardens
Dining was a bit pricey
The view on the terrace
staff supper friendly and helpful, had a real good dinner.
Decor is fantastic air-conditioning throughout. Good room service. Comfy room with a view. Terrace bar with great view and able to have small meals there or in room. Staff very helpful. An expensive hotel but adds to the Alhambra experience.
No pool (a quibble) but after walking round the Alhambra in August you need a dip. Restaurant unbelievably expensive so didn't use it.
It's a nice but older hotel very close to the Alhambra, which is a short 10 min walk up the hill. The hotel is in a great location, great views and the front desk staff are excellent
The hotel is quite hard to find by car. The entrance to the very small road to access the hotel (and some others) is adjacent to the EXIT of the parking lot for the Alhambra. Despite explicit directions - it can be easy to miss this, since it looks like (and is also) the exit to the parking lot, off the roundabout adjacent to the parking lot at the top of the hill. The two main pieces of advice to access the hotel by car are: don't go into the Alhambra parking lot and don't drive through the centre of the city.
Good location, friendly service and charming hotel decor
1) No electric iron and ironing board in the room 2)No tea and coffee making facilities in the room 3) No small clothes line in the bathroom 4) No exhaust fan in the bathroom
The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Brilliant service, astounding views and its proximity to the Alhambra. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back there
Nothing - it was brilliant!
Historic architecture. The views- especially from the terrace. Room beautifully furnished and comfortable.
Reception and porterage staff were excellent but bar service very slow.
