Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a restored 17th-century building in central Granada, just over a quarter mile from the Alhambra. It offers free afternoon snacks, free Wi-Fi and a typical Andalusian patio.

Ambience. Views. Breakfast
Staff could have been friendlier,no maps available. Room initially smelt musty,
Location, the grandeur and the views. Settled for this place after doing some research online. The hotel lived up to our expectations.
The hotel should consider keeping a kettle in very room. That said, they provide hot water to the room if requested, but it will still be more convenient having a kettle in the room and not having to call room service all the time.
Location, location, location. Views History and beauty of hotel
Horrible smell in bathroom that did not go away our entire stay. I had to close the door and the cleaning staff used overpowering perfume to mask the smell. I only got a 10% discount. So dissapointed as I had visited this hotel as a child.
Fantastic meal and wine! Perfect view from terrace of Restuarant

・Location and city view ・Nice breakfast(buffet)
The room is little narrow.

Truly the hotel itself is a work of art in every respect. The architecture and internal design is breathtaking. The views are great. What a true representation to the name. The alhambra is walking distance. However, the hotel is not buggy or wheelchair friendly. Not enough interconnected rooms. Not suitable for family with small children.
Not easy to have interconnected rooms. Not buggy stroller friendly.
I think this hotel is the best hotel option in Granada. It is very special and unique. I had one of the few rooms with a terrace and the terrace was breathtaking just like the view. The experience was wonderful and I would totally recommend it.
staff anb service outstanding
Loation great for Alhambra facility. Good bus connection to central Granada and Alhambra from right outside hotel but it's only a 15 minute walk away through some gardens.Decor of hotel quite amazing - a bit OTT for most males but the girls will love it!
Absolutely no parking so you have to use the hotel's expensive valet parking service. Don't leave anything you might need in your car as it takes 20 mins to get the car back and you can't get to it yourself! Food in the bar is good but expensive but availabilty all day gets you away from the dreaded "after 20:30" dining problem in Spain.
Beautiful scenery , excellent location .
I had booked for 3adults and ended up sleeping for 2nights on a child's bed . most expensive hotelof my 3 Weeks vacation but most definitely the worst bed .
The view was beautiful, both from our room and from the restaurant. The abundance of bathroom products was a nice touch. The staff were very helpful answering our questions. The concierge was so friendly and nice even though the hotel was extremely busy during our check in. We could not fault the staff at all.
It was very expensive for what it is, a dated and kitschy hotel. (Not dated in a good way) the decoration is very cute and would have been wonderful in the 1920's, you can imagine people really being wowed, but I'm sure that the flowers would have been real then and not plastic and the paint would have been fresh, you probably could have gone up to the roof top back then. Also a gin and tonic could have cost 10 euro or the equivalent in the hotels heyday but it is past it's used by date now, although we did enjoy drinking it with that perfect view. We really wanted to love this hotel, but we just didn't. Not our cup of tea. Just not our thing.
A great location for the Alhambra palace. The interior of the hotel is done in the moorish style.
the hotel is some way from the town centre, and there are no shops or restaurants nearby.
Sitting on the tarrace watching to sun set over Granada.
Needs some updating of room facilities.
Stayed here before so no real surprises, still a magical place to stay.. The Shuttle Bus stop outside is a real bonus. Socialising with other visitors on terrace in sun was lovely. Loved the Christmas tree and poinsettias!
Thought some staff were rather aloof and not very sympathetic to my attempts at Spanish.
Fantastic views, amazing arcitecture and oriental ambiente - really breathtaking. The rooms were cosy and a little bit small but big enough for a nap between touring and enjoying the city and the fantastic atmosphere of this absoloute first class hotel.Well trained polite and professional staff anytime at your disposition. We will be back, promise!
Check out , because we would have loved to stay ......!
Old fashion palace, near the Alhambra, very good view from restaurant
Very poor Wifi in room
1. The ambiance. 2. The view of the city below. 3. The professional staff that went out of their way to be helpful. 4. Walking distance to the Alhambra! 5. Oh did I mention the amazing view!
Nothing not to like!
all in all a great experience
parking was announce to be included but was desperately charged on arrival
The location, the view/decor in the Lounge and the history of the hotel... even green salad provided for Breakfast along with sliced tomatos which was really nice! Bathroom nice/clean.
The room is tired with an low armchair which was really worn out for what paid for... Reception staff could be more helpful with explanation of tour etc... did not feel the warmth from them and they were too busy chatting to themselves when we checked out, no personal effort from the receptionist, just another load of guests I suppose...
The hotel had an amazing view over Granada and was within easy walking distance of the Alhambra Palace. Staff were extremely helpful and the bar area was very comfortable and pleasant for relaxing in.
The shower wasn't very powerful
This was our most expensive hotel on a three week trip but we felt like we got good value. This was an elegant hotel with beautiful tiled and stuccoed public spaces and gorgeous views down on the city below. The breakfasts were excellent with freshly prepared eggs and expresso coffee. We also enjoyed both a lunch and dinner there. The hotel is almost as high as the Al Hambra but it is a pleasant walk by path down to the city and a convenient ride up on the frequent city bus # C3. The Al Hambra tour arranged by the hotel was very good.
Room a bit small. Lunch service slow.
