Score from 707 reviews Excellent
The building itself is magnificent, beautifully decorated inside. Ideally situated for the Alhambra, a short stroll away. Lovely terrace to enjoy the view. Very good staff, polite, cheerful, helpful. Breakfast was a rich array and the food on the terrace was very enjoyable.
Rude guests having loud conference calls in the breakfast room.
The location The view from the terrasse
No swimmming pool nor spa Staff not very helpful with regards to alhambra tickets
very friendly staff. wonderful breakfast. beautiful inside design.
from out side it looks not atractive.
tranquil yet lively atmosphere. the vibrancy all around you just a short taxi ride to the centro, An endless variety of food A warm welcome everywhere
Beautiful Hotel w/ excellent views of the city below. Location was excellent Rooms were spacious and impeccable
The desk staff was excellent, the room was nice and clean and the location, near the Alhambra was good.
The dining room staff was very poor. No interest at all in customer service. After a 20 minute wait (although the restaurant was mostly empty), we walked out and had sandwiches at the bar.
Right next to the Alhambra! But only minutes' walk to town. Fantastic views and friendly staff. The hotel is over one hundred years old, but is opulent and grand.
The shower were not easy to use.
Opulent interior, wonderful views from bar and restaurant
For the price paid I was expecting a larger room, a balcony and better bathroom. No kettle in room. Restaurant quality was disappointing.
Ambience excellent, views marvellous, tea delicious, carpets a little worn in Parts, but hey royalty probably live like this
This hotel was utterly charming and extremely well-priced. Teh decor is very Agatha Christie, with a heavy emphasis on the Moorish history of the Alhambra. It was in very close proximity to the Alhambra.Although our room was a little smaill, it had fabulous natural light and a great view. the bathroom was fairly recently up-dated, and covered in bright ceramic tiling. The reading room/loung was similarly exotic. I had a strong vibe of exotic travel from decades ago.
Nothing to add - it was a easy going, comfortable and fun.
We loved everything about the Alhambra Palace - except for parking. The restaurant was excellent - the bar with amazing views of the mountain snd city of Granada and of course an easy walk to the Alhambra. The decor and size of the rooms were great
No complications on parking - Car being taken over by a hotel employee and parked in a hotel location.
Nothing to be mentioned.
Would highly recommend this hotel, its staff and the facilities for a proper pampering break. Great location - only a short walk down steps to the Centre. Very professional and friendly staff. Thank you!
Loved the ambience. The views and the location
The price of the drinks in the bar.
It was a wonderful stay, even though our room was not what we expected but they so kindly gave us a room on upper floor and with terrace. we spent three nights and would do it all over again!! a magical romantic place! lbl stamford ct
The location is great, only 3 minutes walk to the Alhambra Palace The decoration is really local and exotic, you can enjoy the panorama of Granada from the terrace.
the staff is not so good, seems like I am not welcome the sound-proofing is really bad in the room, you can hear what the guests next door say and my sleep is disturbed in the mooring.
Excellent location close to Alhambra Easy bus to centre of town Views from Terrace Good value
Service very slow Limited bar menu or expensive formal restaurant - nothing in between Few facilities - no pool, spa or gardens Impersonal
Location and views are wonderful - just down the road from the Alhambra Palace itself, and yet with an easy and pleasant walk down into the city centre through the Palace woods
Breakfasts are good, if a little expensive
Perfectly located for visiting the Alhambra with stunning views across the city. Opulent public areas full of traditional charm and character. Easy access from the motorway/ring road without having to drive through the town centre, valet parking service worked well.
reception cleanliness proximity to Alhambra quietness
food indifferent variable quality of waiting staff
The hotel is a stunning building and the bar and terrace area are lovely. The position is great for the Alhambra (although any hotel in the old town would be really). The bathroom in our room was big and beautifully tiled. The view of the city from our room. Granada is a beautiful and exciting city.
The staff were very unwelcoming at check in and inefficient and slow in the bar. Hotel decor rather tired, carpet and soft furnishings in need of replacement. Everything very overpriced, hotel doesn't merit such high prices. All a bit slapdash- one day strange music was piped into our room in the morning and on three occasions housekeepers barged into our room - unlocking the door as they knocked, which made us quite jumpy. No shampoo in complimentary toiletries which was a bit weird. General feeling of 'can't quite be bothered'. Everything a bit tatty. A real disappointment.
Amazing Location, fabulous staff, wonderful ambience.
Room a bit small and cramped - but we did pay the basic rate!
Everything about the Alhambra Palace Hotel was fantastic. From arriving at the courtyard being met by a porter who unloaded our luggage and took care of the car to reception staff, food, drinks the lot.
