The staff from reception was excellent very helpful and friendly , specially Jose Ramon , Itziar y Salua, they that did a great job helping us in everything making our stay great. The room had a nice view and was very clean. The breakfast was very good , the location is close to the main touristic sights and also you can get many taxis around. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nothing , everything was fine.
Perfect location , comfortable accommodation, great breakfasts next door. So close to everything we wanted to see, we really made the most of our brief visit.
Comfortable, efficient room with good air con. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Location was first rate, it was possible to walk to most of what we wanted to see. great hotel in a splendid city. I'd go again
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Sometimes it's nice to have a drink at odd times without having to go out. Apparently a kettle was available on request, although we didn't know this till checkout, but a machine and cups is better.
Excellent location, excellent staff, very nice decoration, and wonderful facilities in the junior suite.
The bed was very close to the door and therefore it was quite easy to get disturbed by other guests or the cleaning staff.
Good location. Very nice staff. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints... Great value for the price.
good wifi in the rooms, quaint area, no noise in the rooms from outside, lovely staff, easily walk to all
The terrace, location and excellent breakfast.
All was good.
Restaurant recommendations by staff were excellent. Room was ready at 8:30 am and very nice - spacious after front desk offered upgrade for small charge. Hip fun place - perfect choice for traveling with 19 yr old daughter.
Would have liked a pool but other than, this is a great choice.
Loved everything about it. Trust me….I travel frequently. A no brainer.
Location was excellent, close walking distance to old town and mega number of good restaurants and tapas bars. Also close walking distance to key museums etc like the Prado museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfasts were good but never varied over the 4 days we were there.
Location and the very lovely helpful guy on the front desk
Cool hotel right on Plaza Santa Ana, you couldn't ask for a better location.
We loved simply everything about this place
Absolutely not a thing to complaint at
The location is fantastic: a wonderful neighborhood and plaza, plus walking distance to all major sites (including the Puerta del Sol for great subway service to other parts in Madrid and El Escorial). Exceedingly helpful staff. Solid breakfast offerings (with very accommodating hours).
Second time stayed at this hotel - first stay was in 2007. Since then, the hotel has not undergone much upkeep, so it was a bit shabby. If management gave the hotel a face-lift, would make it an exceptional place to stay.
It was noisy at night.
Roof terrace, hip decor
Tiny room, tinier bath
Right in the old town of madrid- we could walk everywhere for dinner , tapas, sightseeing - great spot. Clean room with comfy bed.the staff were really helpful . Will return
We liked everything about this hotel. The personal was especially friendly and helpful. We will recommend Alicia Hotel to all our friends.
Room, location, staff especially Pablo from reception
Lack of joint bill between hotel and restaurant
Very high speed Internet - I measured 29 MB download and 10 MB upload speed. Soundproof rooms of decent size. Trendy, modern decor. Excellent location. Sushi restaurant downstairs and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Maintenance somewhat lacking - automatic blinds not working. The safe ran out of battery after using it once. Shower head somewhat difficult to put in a fixed position. The hard carpet in the room looked dirty even though it was probably cleaned daily. However, the two first issued were resolved by the hotel engineer after having been brought to the attention of the Reception staff.
Wonderful hotel, wonderful location.
The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful-one in particular and I am very sorry that I have forgotten his name. This is particularly important especially when travelling alone. Bathroom supplies were great.Location was fantastic.
Bed was a little too hard for my liking but you cannot please everyone so this is minor. It would have been nice to have a English TV channel that was not news-again this was important to me as I was ill for a couple of days so that was my entertainment .
The staff was amazing. The location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Madrid.
A really wonderful and friendly hotel right on the vibey Plaza de Sta Ana. Would not hesitate to recommend. The staff were warm and hospitable and the rooms fully equipped with pretty much everything you would need.
It would be really nice to have a little privacy screen (or even a curtain) that could be pulled across the bathroom as it is quite exposed, as well as some ear-plugs as the noise from the square goes on into the night! The breakfast was a little sparse on a couple of days, though it has the benefit of running until midday: great after late nights out!
The staff was very nice and cooperative
The impossibility to open the windows of the room
