Although I did not speak Spanish and his English was limited the owner did make me feel welcome , would recommend to anyone.
Good location, very clean
The hotel is in the heart of Madrid. It is quite clean and room was small but comfortable. The towels were changed every second day. Wifi was good as well. The shops and caffe are nearby.
The street is noisy itself. So at night you might be waked up with all this trafic and people's sunging and talking noise. When I arrived the elevator did not worked (it was fixed later). The owner does not speak English so it was difficult to communicate.
Lovely owner. Comfortable room. Great location. Good value.
The location was great and all the staff was very nice.
The room was very very small and the walls were not soundproofed at all.
Good location in the city. Clean rooms. Nice staff.
But, of total ten rooms were seven faced to a narrow garden and the windows in these rooms had glasses you could not see through. Very, very small rooms. The lift out of order. The hostel located on the second floor, heavy stairs up! Bookings presentation of the hostel gave us not the right picture of how basic the accomodation was in reality.
Great location for sightseeing.
The staff don't speak English, though very helpful. No lift, have to carry luggage to the second floor.
Central location Bathroom clean
The parking area was almost as expensive as the hostal The room smelled like old-man-sweat, i later realised this was due to the blankets smelling bad The stairs up to the hostal werent great
The location was super! The staff were very nice and helpful. Our flight was delayed and the staff checked us in later, since we had informed them beforehand of the possible delay. The rooms were clean and provided with the necessary supplies.
I think the hotel should extend thie check-in time: it would help the otherwise great hotel experience :)
location was perfect. the manager very helpful.
unfortunately the room over looks the street and there is a pub just below the room. it isnvery noicy and the manager provided really good ear plugs but for me it did not help. read the fine print.
Great location - very close to the most popular attractions and metro stations. Staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us an electric kettle for the whole stay, when we asked for hot water for coffee. The place was clean and comfortable. Great for such a price. Especially during the holiday time.
Staff does not really speak English. Only one of the guys did, but was still rather bad at understanding what we were saying. The bathroom was rather small and cramped. The heater worked only when it wanted to. We still have no idea how to make it work constantly.
location, clean, enough to survive
very noisy that street on thursday night.
