Lovely staff. Great position in the old town with many restaurants and piazzas nearby. Clise to tge Alhambra and bus downtown.
It was a little noisy at night but after busy days if sightseeing you soon get to ignore it. The showers are tiny. A medium sized person should not drop the soap. :)
We liked everything
Excellent location. Try having tea at the rooftop balcony, will take you back in time. Can see the Alhambra from here as well as other historical sites. Loved staying here and will do so again.
There is not much to like about the accommodation, the area once you find it is good.
Finding this place is near impossible as no directions are given & if you are driving, as we were, you enter at your own risk. Parking is nearly impossible to find and when you do, you need to drag your luggage over the very rough but beautiful river stone road that does damage. There were two rooms but still very small and would definitely not return.
The location of the property is excellent, in the heart of Albayzin and there are many wonderful touches in terms of decor. The view from the rooftop terrace is terrific and looks out at the Alhambra in the distance. As mentioned by others it's a bit difficult to find and pulling luggage over cobblestones from where you can park is a bit of a challenge so it would definitely be easier for backpackers to access unless taking a taxi. However, we were very glad we stayed there. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and certainly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
Very minor--It was a bit "cozy" for 3 of us and because there is just one couch in the small dining/sitting room, we ended up just sitting in a row. Not an issue though since of course we were primarily out seeing Granada and NOT sitting in a row on the couch!
walking in the Albaicin. neighbourhood quaint and interesting.
shower very tight but ok.
The old town itself. The beautiful views. The bus service was good.
Driving to the hotel was a nightmare. Very difficult to drive in the very narrow streets.
It was very calm and nice place to stay.
It was very hard to find it, even with GPS.
Privacy, quiet, balcony, three changes of towels in our five nights.Helpful response when booking to our query about parking and useful information on arrival about local buses and amenities.
The kitchen area is only big enough to make drinks and sandwiches although with a decent sized fridge and new hob. There was only one huge pan and one frying pan and one large sharp knife,so cooking wasn't practical.
roof terrace with an amazing view and a table with chairs to enjoy meals there; if you prefer walking over buses it is a perfect location to explore Albayzin and Sacromonte; city centre is 20 min and the Alhambra around 35 min walking distance away
the double bed consisted of two single beds put together
The cold and the lack of central heating
roof terrace views of Alhambra terrace location clean
bathroom a tight squeeze
Great place to explore the Albaycin. Great bars for tapas in the small square just next and perfect chocolate con churros in the one a little bit upper in the street. Nice patio for summer and room big enough for all 4
Nothing. We were very lucky parking just in front of the main door
Everything was fine for us. We got excelent holidays with confortable and reluxed. Firstly I had been a little bit afraid about access to the center, but there is no need to worry. The bus station to the center is close to the hotel, and also we were able to go to the center even on a foot within 15 minutes.
Sometimes speaking voice in neighboring rooms was heard through the wall.
Location is perfect, staff helpful, the most amazing views from the roof.Close to Alhanbra, town centre is only 15 mins walk away. Would definatly stay here again, and plan to soon
Hard to find, but worth the effort. :-)
Good location, clean, nice place
Inadequate heating, room very dark
everything is fine :)
Beautiful view from our balcony, excellent area, very nice place!
Bathroom a little small.
Great view from the roof terrace, nicely furnished apartement with the neighborhood arabic feel. Friendly staff.
Not that I didn't like it but many other people mention it. This is old old district with small streets - you almost can't drive to the apartement but if you don't like that - choose other one in the new part of the center. I didn't have trouble and free parking spot was just 5 minutes walk away.
For people that wanted to have a experience that was challenging this is a great place to stay. The first challenge was to find.the place and the second was to get there in a car. If you want.to stay in the old.city then this is the place do not take a car and do not expect a totally equiped apartment.
Location and lack of facilities including a safe and easy to park space. My fault I was in a.hurry to book didn't read the reviews.
It was in the old part of town.
Streets very narrow for driving. No parking inside Albayzin though free parking available about 1 km away.
Clean, stylishly refurbished property. Location in the historical and picturesque Moorish quarter of Granada.
Diffiulty of finding the property amidst the maze of poorly signposted streets.
The house was very nice in general
The bed was too narrow
The location and the staff.
Our apartment it was on the first floor, close to the road no privacy. Also lots of noise from the flat above us (pipes)
Beautiful apartment In a Spanish style house with courtyard overlooking the historic buildings of Granada. Fascinating maze of streets with many cafés Only 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to the Alhambra.
Space limited for two couples but would be good for small family group. Taxis can't Get to the door and there is no. lift so it's not good if you aren't happy to lift luggage. however staff were very helpful
