The apartment is well located and is quiet.
There are several (4 -5) apartments in this building, only one of which matches the description in the ad. The apartment we were given did not have a private terrace, it had a table and chairs behind the building with very limited view and no privacy. The owner was never identified and there is no staff on site. The building 'manager' showed up an hour after we arrived and called (despite my booking informing him of our arrival time) with his skateboard. On our last evening and morning we had no hot water, and my calls to the 'manager' were never returned. Overall, the worst experience we had in renting several apartments in Spain.
Beautiful views of the city and some nice looking furnishings in the apartment we had.
We stayed in late October when after a hot day the evenings were cold. The heaters did not work in the sitting room. The next day we were brought a small electric heater that worked and an old gas heater that when lit smelt of pee and stank the place out. We had to go and buy some incense. Shower tray did not drain properly, so that the bathroom floor was flooded. Of the facilities, there was a nice lamp but that had no bulb in it. Not forthcoming from the staff after we asked for one, so went to buy one. Bayonet style, not available in the shops I found open. Similarly the hairdryer had a plug attachment that fitted no sockets in the apartment. Double bed sagged in the middle. Staff friendly enough, but difficult to get hold of in the evening when you needed him.
Perfect apartment tpo visit granada
View Floor to ceiling glass gives a stunning view
Lack of care: dirty walls, missing light bulbs, hairs in shower tray, dirty floor, broken black out blind in bedroom, dirty bedroom lamp Not horrendous but noticeable nonetheless. Biggest issue was with a leaking roof. We had a lot of rain and woke to rainwater coming in through the ceiling. It hit the shelf and was splattering all our things on the shelf and the bed below. We mopped up and put a pan underneath. I then called Matias our contact he answered as I explained the problem the phobe went dead. I phoned back three times - he did not answer. I left a voicemail and no one got back to me. We went back to a soggy mess and an uncomfortable night. Totally unacceptable. I have f
This place was a bit tricky to find as it's up in the cobbled streets but it was well worth dragging a suitcase up there for! The view over Granada was beatiful and the apartment was clean and tasteful and homely. Perfect location for going to the Alhambra and to all the bars and shops. Also only about a 3 minute walk from the hamman.
The feeling of seclusion. Shade and patio. Kitchen stocked with incidentals; tea bags, olive oil, salt and pepper, access to washing machine and rack to dry clothes on. Comfortably furnished.
Some people do not pick up after dogs; making the walk up the hill a little unpleasant in some spots.
The view.acceptable space
very expensive in relation to the cost, very difficult to find and reach. too many steps to climb, owner poor English.no AC,no land line Telephone noisy at night.the terrace in front of your door belongs to other apartment?
I enjoyed the terrace with amazing views over the neighborhood, the traditional yet romantic feel of the apartment. At equal (walking) distance to all major sightseeing spots: Alhambra, Albayzin center and Sacromonte. Could hear the flamenco music and artists from the terrace. Lovely!
The shower room was too tiny and it lacked a wardrobe. We had to put our stuff all over the place, making it a bit messy.
The views of Granada are amazing, rooms warm & inviting make you feel a part of Granada. Clean, well facilitated, close to the old quarter, to town busses, food. great staff warm welcome. Thankyou it was magical.
You need to factor in walking to the accommodation not too far but up small streets with stairs, well worth the effort. No parking, I parked in Alhambra palace, 24 open carpark & short taxi trip. San augustin park also option.
It is an unique house with a great view to old part of the city and a special feeling. We liked the appartment that owner booked for us as it had a place foe extra a bed and more facilities for family without extra costs. Personal was very helpful and attentive, tried to meet all our needs. We feelt very welcomed and would like to come back.
It was absoluely NOT a minus for us, but there is no cleaning during your stay.
amazing views from balcony, quiet terrace also for use of apartment, fridge stocked with drinks to purchase, really lovely apartment with a wonderful location just down the street from al hambra castle and close to shops and restaurants. dont forget to bring your walking shoes! its a bit of a trek up stairs and hill to the apartment and not acessible by car, its well worth the walk though.
Stayed at these apartments for 4 nice. Lovely views and in the heart of the night life. Great for visiting the Alhambra palace.
Difficult to find signs indicating where the apartments are could be shown outside of premises. Would not recommend for older couples as there is a strap hill to walk. No air con as described, although Granada has a cool breeze at night time so this didn't bother us much.
The view and location
Bathroom was slightly small.
Fabulous location with great views
Very hard to find these apartments also difficult to find anyone to check in well worth it when we did
Very friendly facility manager, great location of the apartment.
The apartment was a little bit dirty, the bed sagged in the middle, the shower was leaking, leaving big lakes in the bathroom...overall we would have expected a little more for the money we spent.
The location was fabulous but quite hard to find for the novice. Even the taxi driver couldn't help us. A great view from the apartment and right next to the Alhambra. WiFi was great and the apartment had all that we needed.
Nothing really not to like. It was obviously not The Ritz but everything was fine.
the house, the furniture, the front and backyard balconies, the atmosphere of the house and yard is great the view of the city is amazing and unforgettable.
cleanlines of the house was not OK, the floor was not cleaned, and the blankets of two beds were not changed - we have found the hairs of the previous guests on the pillows and blankets. the access of the house is very difficult a better route map or instruction how to get there would be useful.
What a view! Wow
nice place top central location
if you are older,we 66 y , it's a lot of steps up to get there to the front gate and a lot of steps down to yr apartment
Great location for the Alhambra and the old part of the city. Friendly staff. AMAZING views. Comfy bed and decent facilities.
Difficult to find so call the manager and she will come and meet you. Very high up which wasn't a problem for us but if you don't like walking/can't walk uphill and steep steps you may want to find somewhere else. The place can not be directly reached by taxi so you will have to do a bit of walking. The views are definitely worth it though.
Loved the apartment and location and the terrace with beautiful views of Granada. Betti, the manager was lovely.
There could have been a few more utensils in the kitchen, ie. bowls and wine glasses. The flower pots on the balcony had dead flowers in, just simple things that would make a difference.
The situation near to the center and the Alhahambra, the terasse with nice view on Albaicin; the fresh air ;it is very quiet even during the semana santa;the young Hungarian woman who received us was very helpful: she carried a part of our luggage(it is quite steep to get from the garage to the location), she indicated us a good tapas bar(Los diamantes)and was very kind
The mattress was really bad(too soft perhaps very old),the kitchen equipment very simple(no microwave)and insonorisation with the other appartement not good, but the neighbours were silent or not there
location, views and the closeness to the town and the sites
Location was great- maximum 15 minutes walk from almost everywhere you'd want to go. Great views over the city too. Host, Betti, spoke brilliant English and have us lots of good information. She was also very good at answering her phone- better to ring her than email.
The apartment was cold during the day as the heating only came on over night- so you couldn't sit and relax on the afternoon. One of the radiators didn't work and our showers were cold for 2 out of the 3 days of our stay. Also the tv, which had a supposedly good English film channel had terrible signal. All these issues were raised with the host but non rectified at any stage during our stay.
Gorgeous views and a warm lovely apartment with central heating
downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds was a little cramped.
