An old farm turned into a small luxury hotel with a lot of good taste, only 20 minutes from the Alhambra. The owners and their staff make you feel at home. Stunning scenery, excellent cuisine, quiet but children-friendly atmosphere. A wonderful place, warmly recommended.

Lovely hotel on a beautiful location. Nice hotel rooms, splendid breakfast and also the dinner is top. Excellent location to discover Sierra Nevada and to visit Granada. Very helpful hotel staff, Patricia managed even to get tickets for us to visit Alhambra (we were too late to book and according to the online booking everything was booked for the next 14 days). She also gave us an excellent tip to see a wonderful flamenco show in Granada. When we are back in the region we would definitely book again in this hotel and we will recommend it also to our friends.

A beautiful hotel set in breathtaking scenery. Conveniently placed for visiting the Alhambra (20 mins drive away) The rooms were really well appointed and individual. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast!! A little difficult to find, especailly if like me you have a Garmin! I put in the co-ordinates as I could not locate the hotel in the system and it took us to the nature reserve overlooking the valley where the hotel is situated! Anyway, we then went by the directions the hotel supplied and found it no problem.

This is a really amazing hotel with a b&b feel. We felt very welcomed and well cared for. We only wish we could have spent more than 2 nights at La Almunia. Maria was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The setting is incredible, though it takes a bit of effort (and a car) to get there. But the staff had provided us with explicit directions, so that helped. The public areas are beautiful and cozy. The breakfasts were hearty with a range of foods -- more than the typical Spanish breakfast. We ate dinner at the hotel out on the porch on our first night, and it was delicious. The pool was lovely, but the water was freezing. And it was quite waspy outside in the afternoons, possibly because of the lingering heat of summer and dry conditions. But a really fantastic place.

Spectacular location with views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. A lovely place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Dinner in the hotel was really excellent quality, and something to look forward to every evening on the terrace watching the sunset. The room and terrace were fabulous. The gardens and pool area were lovely also. We felt so well looked after! Patricia, Manuel and all the staff were so nice. We didn't have a car but there is a bus from Monachil (about fifteen mins walk downhill) into Granada centre about once an hour - if you can tear yourself away from this little piece of heaven!

We stayed here for two nights. Room was very comfortable with some nice touches- large sunken bath and books in the room. Facilities were great and the location is perfect.Nice to find peace and quiet away from the buzz of Granada Staff were extemely welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Only drawback is the steep narrow road, however the hotel and the views are worth it. No complaints and very good value for money.

Very nice hotel. We stayed 3 nights in La Almunia del Valle during our trip through Andalusia. Warm welcome, very nice diners on terrace with a beautiful view, confortable room with terrace, nice garden with swimming pool and lots of fruit trees. Easy acces to Granada. To recommand to everyone !

Wonderful location. Make sure you take the instructions of how to get there with you as it is tricky. Evening meal excellent though pricy at 35 euors. Views are world class. Quite convenient if you want to visit The Alahambra in Granada.

очень интересный дизайн номеров. чувствуется, что хозяева все обустраивали со вкусом!!! привет лживый персонал. хозяйка лично кадый день подходила ко всем постояльцам и инете рисовалась пребыванием в отеле! при подъезде к отелю, надо около 800 метров подниматься в гору по очень узкой дороге! при заказе ужина в отеле, интересуйтесь меню и ценой! на наш взгляд, стоимость ужина была несколько завышена!

Ein idealer Ort um sich nach den"Strapazen" einer Stadtbesichtigung zu erholen. Sehr viel Natur, ruhig und auf dem Land. Die eher etwas schwierige Anfahrt lohnt sich. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Beaucoup de charme dans cet hôtel très bien entretenu. Accueil chaleureux. Belle situation près de la Sierra Nevada. Peu de possibilités pour se restaurer aux alentours et le restaurant de l'hôtel est quand même assez cher. La route pour accéder à l'hôtel est étroite et difficile.

Heerlijke plek om een paar dagen te verblijven, je voelt je gelijk meer dan welkom door het superaardige ontvangst! Op slechts een kwartiertje van Granada en het fantastische Alhambra, maar wel helemaal 'buiten'.

Pues el excelente servicio y la manera de hacer cocina, solamente hay cena si reservas durante el desayuno o antes de la llegada, por lo tanto todo es de primera calidad y recién comprado en el mercado, la preparación de los platos es muy buena y en el desayuno no falta nada. Por lo tanto lo valoro como un pequeño tesoro adonde hay que volver. Por la noche se escucha un ruido como una bomba, creo que esto es debido al silencio absoluto de la zona por lo tanto cualquier cosilla se nota pero esto tiene arreglo, es un ruido que viene y se va luego vuelve, como una bomba de un pozo.

Blev gratis opgraderet til lækker juniorsuite med skøn udsigt til bjergene fra to sider og med dejlige lænestole. Super lækker mad. Patricia (den ene del af værtsparret) tog særdeles godt imod os og fortalte om stedet og sig selv. Lavede også et let aftensmåltid til os, selvom det var søndag og køkkenet lukket. Golden Retrieveren Chris holdt os ved selskab foran pejsen I opholdstuen, herligt :) Super beliggenhed tæt på kløft, hvor man kunne gå en flot tur. æRgerligt, vi var de eneste på stedet den ene aften. Aftenen efter var der et enkelt par mere. En anelse køligt I spisestuen. Men småting på et sted, der ellers var virkeligt dejligt. Vil gerne komme igen, når det er vejr til terasseliv og pool.

Hartelijke ontvangst,heel vriendelijke mensen,vooral Maria,Patricia,Carmen.Zeer uitgebreid en goed ontbijt,diner was ook overheerlijk!En wat een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen en het dal! Kortom,het is ons daar prima bevallen.Wij waren daar met onze twee hondjes en onze vrienden met één hondje,dit was totaal geen probleem. De toegang naar het hotel was over een erg smal weggetje,dus oppassen geblazen,vooral als er een tegenligger aankwam,maar dat hadden wij er graag voor over! Als wij nog een keer die richting opgaan wordt het zeker weer La Almunia del Valle.Bedankt daar allemaal voor de goede zorgen!! Nee helemaal geen klachten!!

El trato del personal es excelente. La ubicación es de primera. Las habitaciones tienen muchísimos detalles. La entrada al recinto es un poco complicada, pero para nosotros no fue ningún problema ya que recibimos un mail detallado con todas las instrucciones para poder llegar sin problemas.

Geweldige plek waar vriendelijke mensen je ontvangen. Een kamer in engelse stijl op een boerderij die ligt in een rustig dal. Het eten is 's avond goed en wordt aangenaam gebracht. Mooie huiskamer met openhaard. De prijs van het avondeten is aan de hoge kant (35 euro ex drank pp)
