La Almunia del Valle  

Tranquil setting, very welcoming staff and very attendtive, The rooms were very clean and luxurious. The views were amazing. We had a 5 course dinner at the hotel as well and the food was delicious.

A very lovely hotel could not fault it at all. Although up a mountain single track road we managed to arrive in our Morgan sports car! Took a taxi to the Alhambra. Very well placed for walking in the mountains and then to relax by the pool. Good home cooked food and plenty of it in the 5 course evening meal.

This is a really amazing hotel with a b&b feel. We felt very welcomed and well cared for. We only wish we could have spent more than 2 nights at La Almunia. Maria was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. The setting is incredible, though it takes a bit of effort (and a car) to get there. But the staff had provided us with explicit directions, so that helped. The public areas are beautiful and cozy. The breakfasts were hearty with a range of foods -- more than the typical Spanish breakfast. We ate dinner at the hotel out on the porch on our first night, and it was delicious. The pool was lovely, but the water was freezing. And it was quite waspy outside in the afternoons, possibly because of the lingering heat of summer and dry conditions. But a really fantastic place.

We stayed here for two nights. Room was very comfortable with some nice touches- large sunken bath and books in the room. Facilities were great and the location is perfect.Nice to find peace and quiet away from the buzz of Granada Staff were extemely welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Only drawback is the steep narrow road, however the hotel and the views are worth it.

No complaints and very good value for money.

Location in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada

Wonderful location. Make sure you take the instructions of how to get there with you as it is tricky. Evening meal excellent though pricy at 35 euors. Views are world class. Quite convenient if you want to visit The Alahambra in Granada.

Great place, great food, great people. In other words we have spend 4 fantastic days in La Almunia del Valle. Thanks to Manuel, Patricia and their great staff.

La amabilidad del personal del hotel

Tiene un acceso que considero peligroso y por otro lado, la movilidad dentro del hotel para personas mayores, es bastante incómodo.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans cette hotel à taille humaine, belle chambre, très bien tenue et bien décorée avec vue sur la Sierria Nevada. Cette hotel propose aussi une excellente table, aussi bien au diner qu'au petit déjeuner. à refaire pour un prochain séjour mais sur plusieurs jours pour les amoureux de nature et de randonnée.

Le seul point négatif, c'est qu'il est très difficile à trouver.

Moderne en smaakvol ingerichte kamer, Persoonlijke ontvangst waardoor je je erg welkom voelt. Goede suggesties voor bezichtiging of activiteiten van de omgeving. Mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht, midden in de natuur. Zeer vriendelijke en Engels sprekende bediening.

Het hoofdgerecht is verzorgd doch sober aangekleed, de voorgerechten en het dessert waren heerlijk.

jammer dat onze kamet geen balkon had.en de weg er naar toe is erg smal en savonds pikdonker,waardoor het niet uitnodigd weg te gaan.

Prachtig gelegen rustig, gezellig en mooi hotel met 11 kamers, op 20 minuten van Granada (wagen). Mooie tuin en zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke uitbaters. Mooi zicht op de bergen en vallei. Heel goed en prijselijk diner! Een absolute aanrader.

Bijzonder trage wifi, maar misschien is dit juist een voordeel in dit rustige hotel...?
