Location excellent and all very clean with friendly staff

Very small bed with one side against a wall woke up during night very claustrophobic and dark not value for money compared with other hotels we stayed in region . paid extra for room with terrace ,however terrace was totally overgrown with weeds and most unattractive as an area to sit in. Felt I was ripped off!

Level of comfort totally unacceptable for the money

You'll better speak Spanish. English is only partly possible. It was not possible to get continental breakfast. The possible routes to walk are either very short (1 hour) or very long (a full day at least) or through not that nice scenery at about 4 hours (which we took due to our time budget). All this aside it is a good hotel. But we will not come back because of the things mentioned above. If this don't matter for you, you will find it a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view into the Sierra Nevada.

The location was excellent and the accommodation was very quirky and imaginative. Every corner you turned there was another surprising feature. We loved our stay here and would definitely return & recommend it to others. The food was very good too.

The location is great, if you fancy a getaway in the middle of no where overlooking the Seirra Nevada. It's tranquil and you can sit on the patio and watch the world go by..the food at the restaurant is very good and we thought very good value for money.

There were too many kids when we visited..The pool is quite small and when you have kids shouting and bombing all the time it sort of destroys the tranquility of the entire setting..we were there at the height of summer..whilst I don't expect airconditioning at a Eco resort of this kind, a fan in the room would definitely help as it was quite stuffy..

The setting is lovely in the mountains.

The shower head in bathroom was broken and water just poured straight out. the room was also extremely hot at night and no way to leave your windows open without people looking in.

Lovely hotel but it is ashamed the lady at the reception on our arrival was not nice. It was our first stay and she did not explain anything about the hotel facilities, did not even say welcome! But a young lady helped us on the way out the last morning and was really helpul while paying the bill. I would have expected a more welcome reception on our arrival! Especially for such a small hotel! We just bought a holiday house in Mecina Bombaron and were planning to recommend your hotel to our friends and family but are wondering now if staff will be nicer with them! Reception on our arrival! Which was I existent!!! A small hotel should be more welcome with foreign customers!

We stayed here before three years ago and wanted to return as it is in a superb location with amazing views of the Alpujaras. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The design of the hotel if very interesting and rustic and although not very old it has an old fashioned Spanish feel about it. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. There was no airconditioning but a fan was provided which was much needed at 38 degrees! Lastly, the swimming pool is excellent with a panoramic view of the mountains.

Do not expect luxury at this hotel. It is a 2 star modestly furnished place which is comfortable and clean and good value for what you get. The food is adequate but not special....and the menu is always the same. The tapas with drinks however were very nice.

Lovely quirky rural environment;

pretty expensive; wrong end of the Alpujarras; kind of bavarian....

This place was exquisitely beautiful with a backdrop of mountains and hilly fields of grape and almond. The accommodations are white washed individual villa style suits with wooden beam and slate roof, tile floor and beautiful decor. There is a bodega on site featuring wines with unique local grape varieties which were very good, and was open to a tour. The food was delicious and well priced. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. Expect windy roads through the mountain to get there which you will have to be careful navigating, but offer amazing visas. A great place to explore and forget about the rest of the world.

The one comment I would make was that the shower head was hard to adjust and pointed so that the floor got soaked when you had a shower. A small thing which did not take anything away from our experience.

The hotel is very nice located in the beautiful surrounding of the Sierra Nevada. The room was absolutely ok - simple but clean, comfortable bed and warm (it was still quite cold when we were there). Dinner in the restaurant was great (local cuisine and wine from their own vineyard), service staff was always friendly in the special sPanish way.

El dueño es bastante agrio y la tele de las habitaciones es demasiado pequeña.

Me ha encantado, lástima que el seleccionarlo no viniese bien explicitado los tipos de había, pues hubiese preferido una con chimenea, u otra tipo apartamento. Pero es extraordinario.Volveré sin lugar a dudas

Le calme, la déco des chambres, les repas, la vue superbe tout était magique. A recommander et recommander!!!

Si uno tiene claro a lo que va (alojamiento rural tradicional en una sierra) es excelente.

La tranquilidad y la atención así como el paraje. Lamentablemente, este año el rió no tenia agua...............pero esto es culpa de la sequía. Cuando baja con agua es mucho mas confortable

Zeer goede voorzieningen. Hotel is prachtig gelegen en heeft fantastisch zwembad. Terras met mooi uizicht op de omgeving en de bergen. Het is iets minder luxe maar alles is heel goed verzorgd en netjes. Heeft daardoor een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vriendelijk personeel.

Personeel kent nauwelijks Engels.

De typische, sfeervolle spaans-moorse bouwstijl van het woningencomplex. De ligging midden agrarisch gebied met eigen productie van wijnen, olijven, amandelen, ... De centrale uitvalbasis naar het wandelgebied en de andere bergdorpen van de regio. De hulpvaardigheid van het personeel. De flamenco-muziek die steeds aanstaat overdag in het hoofdgebouw. De stilte overal elders. De ontmoeting met Spaanse, Finse en Engelse medereizigers. De tapa's bij elk drankje.

Airco en ijskast op de kamer ontbraken wel bij deze temperatuur.

No tener un salon con un T. V. grande para relajarce y estar tranquilo.

Personnel sympathique

Pour une réservation faite 4 mois à l'avance (!), ils ont essayé de nous donner une chambre digne d'une mauvaise auberge de jeunesse : porte d'entrée donnant sur un grand escalier pentu, en bas une petite salle d'eau à peine correcte, et en haut un mini dortoir de moins de 15 m2 avec 3 lits simples, pas de table ni fauteuil ... ! alors que le descriptif promettait 26 m2, 1 lit double, avec de belles photos... Heureusement, après discussions, le gérant de l'hotel nous a installé dans un appartement car tout le reste était pris. Sinon, nous avons trouvé l'hotel très rudimentaire voire rustique, le restaurant trop cher pour la qualité des plats servis. Et attention !!! le week-end ils font des réceptions qui engendrent du bruit et de la musique une bonne partie de la nuit et qui monopolisent les espaces bar, restaurant et terrasse extérieure !

Huisje verrassend knus, oud Spaans, waant je terug id tijd, geen strakke hotelkamer, eerder minidorpje met subliem uitzicht op de bergen en heerlijk zwembad. top. Wandeling in Berchules langs de acequia's is heel mooi, maar staat slecht aangegeven. Vanuit het dorp links omhoog en / of vanaf navigatie lopen.
