Score from 627 reviews Very good
In a quiet alley just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral is the Amadeus. Airy, marble-floored communal area are dotted with instruments and laced with gentle classical music, and the rooms are similarly fine, with a CD player and CDs for you to enjoy. The staff are outstanding staff, and the rooftop terrace and mojitos at sunset are recommended. Breakfast is decent value and they will serve it in your room or on the roof terrace for no extra fee.
Possibly a little too calm for some travellers? My love is a little bit classical, and I am a little bit rock and roll, so she was more in her element than I was.
Nice sitting areas and rooftop deck. Wine and ice tea available all day in sitting areas.
Rooms vary greatly. Standard double is small
The friendliness of staff, the musical theme throughout the hotel, the beauty, peace and calm of all the public areas, the terrace bar, the situation of the hotel.
Our room no 107 has no window exept a very small one in the bathroom....Therefore the reception informed us when we checked in that we have a "very quiet room".... And for this we paid 245.- Euro for two nights wo breakfast. In the lobby wine was offered but the 3 available glases very not changed the whole day. Never again.
The room was spacious, the bathroom beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the rooftop deck both for breakfasts and pre-tapas cocktails. Walking distance to gorgeous cathedral, city park, dining.
Breakfast was very nicely served, but the fare was limited.
Old apartment block recently renovated in a classical music theme. Superb atmosphere, location and roof terrace with roof scape of Sevilla. Very relaxing. Would return in a minute. We arrived by train so if you are thinking car..... instructions on how to get there is a must due to the narrow laned streets.
The fact that we had only booked for two nights!
Great decor, friendly staff. Outstanding and atmospheric location. Roof terrace a fine addition.
The staff made reservations for us for two wonderful restaurants during our stay.
Location, historic building very well converted. Quality of finishes and decorative touches. Very comfortable beds and the whole atmosphere was of piece and tranquility.
Lacking a little attention to detail on the maintainance as the massage shower unit did not work and clearly had not done so for some time.
Really got you buried in the heart of Seville. Though did find it a bit disorienting at first. We, a family of 4, stayed for one night only so was a little cramped (staffed had arranged room to minimise impact though). For a couple it would be perfect. The kids enjoyed opportunity of playing the grand piano and guitars available on ground floor after not touching an instrument for a month.
Rooms on the small side but ample for the visit. Breakfast reasonable price. Clean throughout Location fantastic.
Downside: too little information re: parking procedure. Rather complex and causing the parking attendants to lose their temper with us. Could do with escort from hotel to car park.
Excellent location with many restaurants nearby On a little side lane, no street noise Many beautiful public rooms
Standard room was very small Breakfast expensive (but high quality) Laundry service too expensive, we took our laundry to a laundromat for less than half the price
Great location. Clean. Everything new!
The breakfast room was quite strange and unconfortable... and the breakfast itself wasn't really good
Lovely hotel full of musical interest. Very helpful staff with good recommendations. Second visit
One of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. Very charming, clean and one of a kind.
Very comfortable stay. Convenient location. Excellent, affordable laundry service. Loved the music theme. When we had to check out very early to catch a bus, we wanted to have coffee before we left, and they were very accommodating.
Breakfast wasn't included in our rate, so we chose to walk down the street for breakfast. There are plenty of places nearby, so this wasn't an issue.
It was a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location and the service was excellent
Location Very friendly and helpful staff
Room - no natural light and near entrance which was noisy. Poor breakfast
Location room quality of bed linen ect
Having paid the level of money we would have thought continental breakfast and complimentary water in suite would have been nice .
Central location, very friendly reception staff who could all speak good English. After a lot of sight seeing it was good to go back to the hotel and relax at the roof top bar/terrace and have a dip in the jacuzzi. We had breakfast twice and did not think it was overpriced.
Character rooms and historic city centre location
Most of the staff were friendly & helpful. The exception was the guy that greeted us on the first day (bad 1st impression). Roof terrace was exceptional. The bathroom was huge. It had twin vanities & a bidet. The room also had a fridge & a safe. The location was close to everything.
Though the bathroom was huge it had a shower in bath (spa) arrangement with a partial glass partition. It was impossible to use without wetting the floor. Room was nicely furnished but a bit cramped. Would have been more practical to replace the rather large piano with a decent desk. The classical CDs were nice but the quality of the player was disappointing. It was ridiculously difficult to find the entrance to the Hotel. There were 4 faux entrances with instructions to follow the carpet to the real entrance. The carpet was long gone. Obviously not a bad Hotel but at 140 Euros a night - poor value.
Excellent hotel (car parking aside). Very comfortable and great sound proofing in rooms so undisturbed nights sleep.Superb location. Superior rooms are spacious and well appointed but standard rooms are very small.
Car parking arrangements were badly managed. Parking was in a nearby public car park with only 2 private spaces. Hotel guests were left to deal with luggage, locating the car park and dealing with difficult car park attendant.
Lovely quirky place just lovely
I would have liked my room to be a bit lighter but other than that it was all fantastic
