This charming, restored 17th-century house is in Seville’s historic quarter within the Alfalfa District, just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral.

In Seville’s picturesque historic quarter and a 10-minute walk from the cathedral, Hotel Casa Imperial is in a beautiful Andalusian-style mansion.
Score from 725 reviews Very good
Location, good sized room (superior)
Basic furnishings, expected more boutique style or character
niche hotel; very big bathroom; position near to the centre but silent
no breakfast buffet, the waitress serves on the table only one croissant, one piece of cheese and of ham, a small portion of jam for person
Luckily, upon arrival, we had the chance of attending a piano concert of Phillip Dyson that was playing in the main hall. We could not have a better welcome Room was very nice and hotel location is very central a few minutes from the cathedral. Breakfast was not only good, but served in the terrace overlooking the Cathedral and other monuments. Definitely a hotel to recommend.
A lovely hotel with a very musical theme. The location is brilliant - 5 min walk to the cathedral and city centre, with some lovely restaurants round the corner.
Driving and parking in Seville is a nightmare, but that will be the same wherever you stay!
This hotel has lots of character and we really enjoyed our stay. Roof terrace bar was a relaxing place to unwind.
Location Decor Roof terrace
Breakfast was poor - rolls could have been better/fresher. Would prefer quality to quantity/variety. Rooms on small side but cleverly done.
This hotel offered the highest possible level of service.Great facilities and a very convenient location. Lots of different public areas to choose from including a great rooftop deck with bar facilities. As seasoned travelers we were most impressed.
impossible to park and drop luggage - .nearby carpark worked well
Reception rooms are beautifully furnished and our superior bedroom was lovely. The location is perfect for the cathedral, the Real Alcazar and the Marie Louise gardens. If you're a walking sightseeing fiend, you can walk to all the areas of Seville of interest. We loved having our continental breakfast on the rooftop terrace,
The security box is not fixed to a wall or to the inside of a cupboard - it's loose! No drawer space in our room. It needed some storage space other than hanging space. It is not 900m from the station - more like 2km.
Location was excellent. It was close to everything, but still quiet. The staff was helpful and efficient. The rooms were spacious and stylish, and public spaces were lovely - great view from the roof. It was very good value. I would highly recommend.
The only knock, and it is very small, is the breakfast could have been a bit better.
Comfy bed in cool dark room- essential for seville in august. Private patio outside. Cute touches & elegant furnishings around the hotel. Good breakfast on gorgeous roof terrace. Very central to main attractions but quiet inside.
Room a bit small.
Great location, 5 in walk to Cathedral and Alcazar, good bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel very nicely decorated with a composer theme. Spotlessly clean. Pleasant breakfast served on the terrace with views of the rooftops. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great!
Wonderful staff, we received a very warm welcome. The public areas are decorated in good taste, the rooftop bar and lounge area was a great addition as was the cold water Jacuzzi. Classical music was always playing Complementary Orange Wine and Iced Tea in the lobby were delicious! Location is fantastic Breakfast was nice, and you could have it brought anywhere you with- your room, the rooftop or the dining area.
Our room was a bit on the small side. Parking not available on the premises, but as this is a centrally located hotel, it is to be expected, and we were directed to a nearby parking lot.
Perfectly located in the beatiful litte streets surrounding key attractions (Cathedral, Royal Palace), very stylish hotel, every room is personalised & comfy. Breakfast in the roof garden with view to the Cathedral & the jacuzzi (open 24h) are the extra beautiful touches!
Carefully decorated common rooms, patios and bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely terrace on 3rd floor where you can have their complimentary breakfast or a drink, and cool off in a cold jacuzzi- A nice escape from the mid-day heat of Seville.
There should be a sign for the hotel at street corner.
We loved everything! The location was perfect. Plan on getting list in the windy streets, but the staff are always available to calmly repeat directions. the roof top deck is perfect for a refreshing drink and dip in the jacuzzi to help recharge before the next trip out.
There was nothing to improve.
Hotel beauty The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the center of Sevilla near the cathedral. Hotel is clean and staff is excellent.
walking distance to many tourisme sites. Classical music CD in room to enhance the music theme of this hotel: musical instruments everywhere in public area along with a piano room. Free iced tea and orange liquor at disposal. Nice top roof. Thanks to one of the staff, we experienced the best restaurent we had in Spain: la Azotea, highly recommended!
The only regret is there is only a jacuzzi on roof top, it would be great if it was a swimming pool
Location was near all the sites we came to see
Even with directions, very hard to find hotel initially.
Everything.... especially the homey feel of the place. The level of upkeep and standard of daily housekeeping must be one of the highest in Spain. The free flow of sherry provides just that little special touch of their warm hospitality.
Great location in the city center of Sevilla. Very spacious, clean, nice rooms, each with their own distinctive design.
A confusion in the Booking.com homepage made me book an extra room. The staff was kind enough to offer me a low price for this room, though.
the location is very good, and staff is very kind and helpful, they help us to do the reservation of flamingo, and it is impressed.
the wifi doesn't work very well and breakfast with 9.50 euro is just so so.
The hotel was charming and very cheery, the staff was delightful and so very helpful. The rooftop terrace was beautiful, a great place to enjoy the views over a drink in the evening or to enjoy your breakfast in the morning. I loved Hotel Amadeus.
Location was close to the main tourist attractions. The decor of the public spaces in the hotel was most appealing.
The reception we received was rather frosty - business-like rather than welcoming. We were not accompanied to our room, which was described in our booking documents as "spacious... with 3 balconies overlooking the street...2 extra beds can be added to this room". Had the room been less than spacious, there would have been no room for the bathroom, which measured 1.2 × 4 metres or for more than 1 suitcase. When we raised the matter on checking out we were asked brusquely why we hadn't said anything. Not once had anyone asked how our stay was going or if we needed anything. There was no information at all in our room so we were surprised to discover a rooftop spa on our second evening there. Temperatures were around the 40 degree mark and we were somewhat taken aback on returning to our room to find the airconditioning had been turned off. In summary, our impression was that it was a privilege to stay there - no sense of hospitality or service.
Hotel Amadeus and La Musica strikes the right chord with the traveler. The decore and concept of the hotel is distinctive. The staff is attentive and helpful. The continental breakfast is the product of high quality ingredients, personal service and your choice of venue (several indoor options or a rooftop terrace). Ever-changing complementary wine samples and access to musical instruments form part of the property's allure and artistic motif. And for those who worry about conveniences, the hotel is within walking distance of attractions and offered complementary Wi-Fi. The beds are comfortable and the evenings were quiet during our stay.
Breakfast was included in our room rate, but to others it may appear a few Euros over priced. Don't bother trying to drive there. It's a complex experience over narrow cobblestone streets. We were dropped by a taxi a block away from the hotel, dragging our luggage through a street blocked to traffic by construction. I have no idea where one would park a vehicle; take a cab.
Everything during our stay at hotel Amadeus was very good: I really liked the breakfast on the roof terrace and the room was very beautiful; also the staff was very kind and pleasant all the time. We had some troubles during our stay in Seville but the staff continuously helped and assisted us in several ways. We really appreciated their kindness.
