Breakfast was good. The bed was really confortable and big, even though we booked for a double room and instead there were two beds put togethe - that was supposed to be a twin room. It was really clean. It was close to Rambla de Catalunya, which has a lot of restaurants.

It was about 15min from Placa Catalunya, a little bit far, but it was really close to La Pedrera. The pool is really really small. The terrace is very expensive. The staff was not very polite, but they weren't rude either. The bad thing was that there are some diggings happening right in front of the hotel. It was bad that they didn't have a restaurant at the hotel or nearby. You have to go on Rambla de Catalunya to find a place to eat.

Ideal location for seeing the sights that Barcelona has to offer. Excellent access to Metro and buses. Good restaurants and shopping close by, especially the Taverna Mediterranean next to the hotel.

Unfortunately there were major construction works directly outside the hotel entrance so be prepared for early morning wake up calls!! The hotel bar prices were expensive as was breakfast.

It is a very comfortable hotel and is very very clean.

Lovely hotel, room very clean with comfortable bed and great shower. Good location about 10 mins walk from diagonal metro station. Very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Currently some roadworks taking place outside the hotel but of no bother if you are not going to be in the room much and quiet at the weekend due to no passing traffic.

Very knowledgable and friendly staff- hotel was overbooked when we arrived but that arranged accommodation at nearby hotel and provided free breakfast during our staff- good location to metro, shopping clubs, bars and sights- gay friendly- free wifi

Construction occuring in front of building- breakfast was average and overpriced (lucky we got it for free)- roof top area a little small with not alot of space for sunbeds and pool

It was a big pleasure to stay at the hotel. The staff is a very friendly and nice, the pool is absolutely gorgeous! I do like location also, 'cause it is in a nice and quiet place but at the same time it is really close to the main sights and shopping places.

A very modern,clean and efficient hotel. The staff were always very helpful and eager to help. The buffet breakfast was always fresh and plentiful. The hotel is in a quiet location but very close to all sights.

Good clean up to date hotel, perfectly situated for siteseeing, shopping etc.

Nice personnel, clean, room was spacious with a street view. Asked for a room at a lower floor and they arranged it. This has not been the case in other hotels we have stayed at. They even arranged a meal for us that was not in the room service menu w/ reasonable price.

Hotel location is very convenient - not far from the subway, with plenty pastry shops, tapas bars and fancy shops nearby; short walk from bars and clubs. It is also somewhat removed from main tourist areas, so the street are pleasant to walk on. Also, the hotel lounge bar at the top of the building, next to the swimming pool, is very pleasant.

The room and the bathroom, while clean, are somewhat dated. There is also subway construction going on just outside the door, scheduled to be completed in 2012. It caused absolutely no noise, but does spoil the view and the scenery.
