Across from Fira Barcelona Exhibition Centre, Porta Fira is an impressive red tower designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito.
Score from 1013 reviews Excellent
The Hotel Medicis is a 5-minute walk from the Sant Pau Metro Station, allowing you to reach central Barcelona in around 10 minutes. There is Wi-Fi access and a rooftop terrace.
Score from 366 reviews Very good
A 5-minute walk from the avenues of Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia, this guesthouse is in the central Eixample neighborhood of Barcelona. Verdaguer metro station is just under a quarter of a mile...
Score from 828 reviews Very good
Not expensive , clean , helpful staff , good bathroom , good shower.
Cleaning staff very noisy early sunday morning ( = we are awake and working and everybody should hear it ) We had 20 degrees outside and heating was on in the rooms = TO HOT .
Staff, view, location, metro station, lunch menu, clean and large room, wifi
The location was very good and the staff was very helpful
The restaurant was sub par to say the least
•the staff was able to help us in whatever we wanted. •cleanliness
•the little space in the triple room which actually was a small double room with an extra bed •the half bottles of shampoo, bath gel and paper which were probably what left from others
Pleasant stay ,nice large balcony ,room c loo ran and fresh towels every day.
Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room ,and soap for showering, small supply only lasted 1 day,,everything else was good ,
the location is far from the center so it's a calm place in what seems like a local neighborhood. Staff was very helpful and cool.
The shower curtains smelled but i didn't bother reporting it since i stayed there for about 12 hours.
Central location and easy to get to sites of interest
During the busy times for Breakfast, there did not seem to be enough staff to ensure there was enough glasses and dishs for guests. Also with only 1 coffee machine there was long wait to get coffee.
The staff seemed to know what they were doing and although my interaction with them was short I can say that they were polite and helpful and they could speak English fairly. The hotel room was tidy and quite presentable and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The prices are excellent.
The fact that the room was very small and the window faced an inside patio which was not really what I hoped for.
Close to multiple metro stations meaning it was easy to travel across the city. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the reception staff all spoke English. The beds were really comfortable and quiet. The shower was AMAZING!!!
The room smelled of smoke which didn't go away despite having the windows open.
Perfect location (close to Sant Pau Hospital metro station). Horta Guinardo is a very nice part of Barcelona where mostly apartments are located. There's a good supermarket near and 10 min to walk to Sagrada Familia. Hotel staff is very friendly and responsive. Breakfast was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other guests.
Ask for a Hospital view room. In the other case your room would seem dark and not really cosy.
Good location Frindly and supportive reception staff Understand English Nice breakfast Close to Metro station and bus stops No hassles in payment
Bed in the room is hihgly uncompfortable. It is bends leading to poor sleep, backache. Not well lit. Need more lights in the room No natural light Limited TV channels (need more English channels)
easy location with metro access to the city center. Comfortable rooms with an amazing terrace. Highly recommended!
We got a really fresh and nice two bed room with a huge balcony. The room looked just like the picture. The bathroom was very nice and clean as well, with a bathtub. The personell were very nice and helpful! Just a 5 minute walk away from Sagrada Familia, and about 10 min away from the beach with the subway. Really recommend this!
The restaurant got very nice personell and they serve really good coffe, the food is on the contrary really bad. Itmight be because we usually ordered food late in the evening.
We loved our apartment as we got upgraded from a standard twin room. Would recommend to book the apartment as it's home from home!
The only problem was the lights get very heated so make the room hot, plus the aircon wasn't that strong either. Would recommend an extra fan to keep cool.
the room and its facilities
Hotel parking possibility, spacious room, subway station was close as well as many small cafe's if you don't feel like getting overpriced breakfast of the hotel
We had a room under the rooftop with a nice view over the city, extremly quiet, near parc güell
Location is good.
Small Room, ground floor, not very nice.
The location of the hotel was nice, i.e. at not-so-busy area and close to the metro station.
My room was on the ground floor and facing to the street and/or corner. Still it was not the only reason why it was really noisy. The window was so poor to shut the noise out. I could even hear the people talking on the street.
Because I was attending a conference at the Uni, across the street, the location was convenient.
No fridge, no tea /coffee making facilities, no safe. The 1st room I was given was noisy because of the traffic and I asked for a quieter room.
Location, wifi , confort clean room
The lobby attention very bad , the breakfast to poor .
very nice stuff, always helpful. we had a room with awesome view where you can see sant pau hospital right by. the room also has AC and TV!
The exceptionally helpful front desk staff and their supporting staff
Cafeteria staff needs to be trainedbetter in all aspects of their function.
I like our room, overlooking Hotel Sant Pau. Clean and indeed comfortable.
Staff are kinda unattentive. They dont know to anticipate need of guests. Weeks Before we came I sent email regarding transportation. Instead, I was instructed to take a cab. When we reached hotel - they have transportation, has to be arranged at least 2 days prior!!! When we tried to book because we have an overnight stay only - of course no longer allowed! They never even offered map to us - upon checking out we found out they have maps at reception
it was very clean and very friendly to the customer
i didnt like the fact that there was no fridge in the rooms and the price was a bit high
