Situated in central Granada, 2.5 km from its train station, Hotel Inglaterra features a traditional Andalusian courtyard with a shared seating area.
Score from 694 reviews Very good
The Monjas del Carmen is in a pedestrian street in central Granada, next to Plaza Nueva and the Moorish Albayzín Quarter. All soundproofed rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV and a laptop safe.

Great location (although not easy to find by car). Loads of restaurants and bars in the area. Very helpful reception staff.
Getting tickets for the Alhambra is not easy. If the web-site gave advice on booking via internet it would be useful.
Near the downtown
The hotel is conveniently located close to major attractions including The Ahlambra, Royal Chapel and multiple dining and shopping opportunities.
The rooms are very small with the most basic of beds that could have been chosen. Air in the pipes makes banging sounds throughout the night. I slept with earplugs. The breakfast is so basic it should be free. Instead they rip off the guest by chsrging 13 euros nightly! There is no real bar in the hotel. I would not stay here unless on a strict budget.
The hotel appears recently furnished with modern and functional facilities. It is located in the very heart of the city, within walking distance to all tourist attractions (including Alahambra). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I normally prefer 4 and 5 stars hotels but this 3 stars hotel was perfectly good for my stay and overall a very pleasant surprise.
Internet was quite poor and the breakfast can see some mprovements.
The room was very small and they had no other room to give us . The window was very small ,very worried if there was a fire in the hotel.
the location of the hotel is perfect. a few minutes away from the cathedral and right the restaurants and bars area.
the worst part of our stay was that we received a room next to the elevator, whose doors were making a terrible noise every time they opened and closed. so we were woken up every morning at 7 when people started going for breakfast, and couldn't go to bed until 1 am, when it was becoming quiet. they could try oiling those doors up, it was a nightmare for us, we couldn't rest at all during our stay in Granada. wifi connection is also very weak, we couldn't even complete a purchase online for tickets of the sights we wanted to visit.
Loved our stay at Anacapri. The stuff is ver friendly, helped with everything we needed. I wasn't able to buy Alhambra tickets online as my card was being denied by the website ( seems like a common problem among tourists going there) sbd the hotel was happy to help. We just emailed them and they reserved the tickets for us and we got the reservation paper upon arrival. You can borrow an iron machine from front desk and we were also able to borrow and adapter. The location is amazingly good. Tons of restaurants close by and steers are full of life. They provided us with a pack and okay for our baby which was already in the room when we got there. Rooms are nice and clean with a fair size.
We asked for a double bad and were given two singles. It wasnt an issue for us though and we didn't even complain about it.
Large bright room, lovely bathroom. Excellent location. Very central.
Thin walls, poor doors so sound carried between rooms & from the halls.
Location, hard to find, watch out for taxi and bus only lane as fines apply. (Followed a very kind taxi driver) Good discount at parking station. Roberto on reception was very good with maps, info re Ahlambra tkts etc. good breakfast. Room over the street was clean and quiet, twin beds and reasonable size.
Room info said kettle in room and when we asked for one we were given one and offered a cup of tea (was late at night) from breakfast room. We were charged 6 euros on checkout for the tea which we thought was a bit unreasonable given there should have been one there in the first place.
Liked the look of the hotel and the room was very nice. Staff extremely helpful
Unfortunately the hotel is in a restricted access area and as we have a very long estate car the parking that the hotel offers was unsuitable as we could not get the car in the required space
excellent location for sightseeing and access to downtown
wifi access was limited to the main lobby area most of the time
Convenient to sights and many eating places.
Access roads to the hotel are quite narrow. Parking garage is situated about 5 - 10 minutes walk away.
From check-in to check-out I felt I was taken care of and serviced beyond expectations.
this was the perfect location, and enabled us to explore both the albacyn and Sacramento and of course easy walk To the AllambRa, with fantastic food spots just around the corner The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff spoke fluent English for the most.
breakfast is just continental.
Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful, they spoke excellent English. Hotel located in the central of Granada by restaurants and close to the Alhambra. it's extremely convenient.
This is a pleasant hotel slightly different from standard, more personal than corporate. Easy to walk to all the sights, close to bustling streets but not a noisy street.
Car parking, if you need it, is slightly away from the hotel. It's well managed but be warned, they don't take card payment, only cash and that can cause a hold up. Oh yes, Granada's road system, hard for driving tourists!
A very modern hotel. The rooms are large and airy with a good size balcony. Close to the beach and handy to some very good restaurants. The beach suburb of Motril is plain looking but we had excellent food and service and really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is ideally situated one block from the Royal Chapel and within easy walking to a myriad of shops, restaurants and orher historical attractions.
The breakfast is banal and overpriced! The pipes make noise at night in the walls! This is a budget hotel in a great location. Stay here only if you are paying a budget price.
Excellent we would stop here again
breakfast could have have more variety
Location is good for everything Granada has to offer. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. Continental included breakfast was good. Discounted parking was close by.
Rooms were tired looking. Other guests were extremely noisy late at night. Pictures on web have been touched up. Soap & shampoo was not replenished.
Excellent location, walking distance from Albayzin and cathedral, many restaurants around. Very clean rooms, breakfast with fresh fruits , juice and variety of bakery is .included. Very kind staff and .helpful. Best place to stay in Granada!#
Excellent quality of beds and size of rooms. Charming room.
No drawers, had to use our cases. Could have done with a small coffee table.
Just around the corner from plaza nueva with helpful and friendly staff.
We booked this accommodation at the last minute when our other booking fell through. Therefore we probably got the least good room. The window opened onto a central courtyard and was overlooked by an internal passage way so kept the curtains closed. The decor is a little tired but was basic and clean.
Location very central. Staff very helpful.
Lack of tea / coffee in rooms. Price of buffet breakfast.
