Yes. I asked for a non-smoking room, although the room was non-smoking (because I do not smoke, but the room had ash trays), there were always a smoke odor.

Central location in Madrid

Some of the room facilities were in poor condition - the shower panel didn't close properly, the hair drier was broken, and the TV didn't work - and the bed was rather uncomfortable.
