Great place, 5 minutes away from a lot of touristic places. Great value for your money
Heat did not work, window was broken, so a freezed during the evening. Breakfast was in a restaurant close to the hotel, but only toast, coffe and juice.
Terrace attached to room was huge! Nice room for a good price and in a good location.
Really liked the location as it was very central with lots of options for getting around as it is only a 5 min walk to the gran via metro station
The hotel was very basic room was a bit small no English speaking channels on the TV no way to make a cup of coffee or tea in the room
The price and the location are good
We foud a cockroach and many lights didn't work. I'll not repeat the experience
Location, location, location.
Just about nothing.
Stayed here for 3 days. Staff lovely and helpful. Hotel is in central grand via lots shops and all u need.
The location is good. We could park the car in the only spot left by us in front of hotel at a price. Bathroom facilities where great! The bed large.
Small room. Tv
Value for money and location,it suits to those travellers who do not planning to spend much time in hotel and coming back only for night sleep. The night we stayed- hotel wasn't noisy and we had good sleep.
taking in consideration that hotel is in the centre ( great location ) and money we paid- no complaints. you have to understand that its not 5 stars hotel, but they are great as 3 stars hotel.
1st given to me had broken toilet and it was very hard to open or lock the room due to faulty lock, the room was very dark with very dim light, the bed was very very uncomfortable stuff member couldn't speak English, worst room I have ever slept on
Location. Value for money. It was quite cheap compared with other European city centres, so I did not expect full luxuries. It easily met my expectations.
Unexpensive at the time we stayed, so it was good value considering the location.
Wifi too was weak at the end of the building. Had to stick my phone to the door to get enough signal. Aging equipment and furnitures.
The location. It is next to the metro station and the city centre. The room was cozy and the heating system works very well.
The breakfast was unacceptable. It was a coffee or tea and bread with marmelade or croissant. All the notifications in reception are written in spanish. The credit mashine was broken and we ran to find ATM because no other alternative was available ( paypal)
Unfriendly stuff! Not helpfull at all..
Location next to the metro. Wifi was good. Helpful staff.
No kettle. Staff not speaking fluent english.
The hotel is in a 5 minute radius of Gran Via and is the primary reason for booking this specific hotel. It looks scruffy from the outside and even inside the carpets were stained and the pain chipped off the walls but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was ideal for what we needed.
Location Helpfulness of staff Price
Inefficient air conditioning
Easy walking distance to many of the popular sights in Madrid. 2 mins to Puerta del Sol. Top floor rooms have terraces.
Used to have a nice little Bar/Cafeteria but it is closed now.
No Bar and Wi Fi didn't work in Room.
Close to gran via and metro stop. Friendly staff.
There had hair all over the bathroom and tub. The toilet was not clean. The walls were dirty with footprint like streaks and the floor smelled a lot like smoke. Probably closer to a 2 star than a 3.
Value for money
Hotel was not accessible, there was several stairs to get in the reception; not suitable for anybody even with minor mobility restrictions. Breakfast arrangement was not good and the quality of the "ticket" breakfast was not acceptable.
Anaco was my introduction to Spain the Spanish people. Staff treated me always with respect and were quick to help me find my way. I hope to come again and will definitely stay at Anaco!
Very close to Gran Via station.
1, The pictures that you find on the site doesn't much reality which is much more poorer. 2, The staff are not friendly. They care what they do but don't so much care about us. 3, WiFi access would be very weak so that you can't even access to the page. 3, The building and any facilities that you find at this hotel is old. You can't flush the toilet smoothly. 4, Since the hotel is facing a public patio, it's noisy. Since I trusted that this hotel has three star and finally found it very nice cost performance, but it was totally wrong. Watch out if you consider to stay this hotel. If you like the cheap hotel and don't care much about the quality, you might like it.
